Little Lebanon in Ljubljana!

One of the many ethnic restaurants in Trubarjeva street, with a few tiny tables outside and some more inside. The menu is a combination of meat and veggie mezze and other traditional Lebanese food, from falafel over to different kebaps. The food is good, and so is the service! The prices are a bit on the higher end for such a quick bite restuarant.

Tasty lamb to die for

I was starving hungry after a day of hiking and this was the best we had for very long. Shared 4 different mezes incl lamb shawarma that was delicious. Totaly perfect! Chicken wings with lemon and coriandre yummy. Lovely meal and nice staff. Highly recommended! Just go there and try it! Located on a lively street. Thank you!

Super tasty and not a touristy meal 👌

After a boat trip through Ljubljana, looking for a nice restaurant for lunch and not in the mood for the typical tourist places. Friendly service, sat outside on their terrace and ordered 2 mezze's each. Very tasty food. Highly recommended for a quick or long lunch!

The portions too big for meze and too expensive

The portions too big for meze and too expensive. Meze are usualy small portions and really cheap. Dishes lack in taste. If you ever had real meze this is not it. Need more spices asap.

Oversize meze

Interesting addition at the less gentrified end of Trubarjeva. Good option for vegetarians, but not cheap for what it is. My wife is very fussy eater, but she enjoyed it, apart from the rather dry falafels. Some printed menus wouldn't go amiss, I hate using my phone to read the menu.

Cold and dissapointing

I visited this place on Wednesday. It looks a nice little location from the outside. The place inside was cold, very very basic with no real atmosphere. The tables were quite rickety and it just felt very cheap. A nice enough menu at the quality of the food didn’t match the expectations by any means. not cheap and I don’t think I would go here again unfortunately. The tabouli was lacking taste and the sheesh kebab was quite dry and overcooked.

The worst Lebanese I ever tasted

I was holidaying in Slovenia having arrived from the Uk. I was so happy to have found a Lebanese restaurant in my beloved Slovenia. I invited my family to a dinner and my tastebuds were already watering. We were a party of 6 people. Having previously lived for many years in the Lebanon I am totally in love with the huge variety of Lebanese dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes and we were totally disappointed as I could not believe that the taste could be called Lebanese. This was my worst ever experience in a Lebanese eaterie, not only were the dishes unappetising, the portions small and the price was equal to what I pay in London at the best Authentic Lebanese restaurant called Maroush. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone,

Delicious if you want something else besides your typical pizza or pasta

The location is really good. Only a few blocks away from the busy streets filled with tourists. The food is very fresh and tasty. The dishes are quite small and cheap so you’re encouraged to taste a lot of different dishes during 1 meal. We enjoyed it and can definately recommend it

Perfect end to our trip

Lovely relaxing ambience, really friendly service and incredible food. We found the portions super generous and ordered two small dishes each (but they came with bread) and one side and it was more than enough. Really bargain priced but delicious wine too!

Great service but small portions and pricey

I went there with a couple of friends a few days ago. The service was superb, we had booked in advance and they were really nice and responded quickly to my e-mail. Also, the waiter that was waiting us the whole evening was super kind and sweet. The food arrived quickly and was OK but nothing special. They also offer some vegan options, such as salad, hummus and baba ganoush. However, what bothered me the most were small portions and quite high prices. We ordered twice and were still not completely full at the end of the night.

WORST EXPERIENCE DINNER IN LJUBLJANA

We booked this place 2 weeks before our trip to Ljubljana (just for 2 pax) because of the good reviws but unfortunatly we were treated super bad. We arrived on time and while we were still outside smoking 2 persons asked us if the place was ok because they've just found it and we answered yes they walked in without reservetion and sit in the best place, I asked to the restaurant manager (I think it was the manager, he was the only waiter togheter with a girl) if we can have that table considering that we booked 2 weeks earlier and the manager said in a very rude way that the 2 persons sitting had the reservation too whitch was a lie (the persons sitting told us earlier that they havn't booked). The manager was rude and carless (he didn't even find our reservation I had to show him the email), never asked if we need something to drink or eat when we finished. He gave us the wrost table in front of the kitchen door with a very bed smell. We had to set the table by ourown and they even gave us the paper table clothes that other tables had.. we had dinner on a dirty table. But the wrost thing was the food: we wait for about 40 minutes for the dishes and hot starters and main courese came togheter so we eatten the dishes cold. The food is not tasty and far away from the good medioriental cousine (I used to eat it often). We finished quickly and run away to burn our super smelly dresses..of course the manager didn't ask us anything. The price is not so low but hight for the service and quility. Please do not trust the good reviw, there are so much better place and nicer people in Ljubljana!!
