It all started in 2009, when Gašper Čarman, twice awarded Slovenian best sommelier (2013,2015) opened eVino bar - a wine bar with the largest selection of top-quality Slovenian and foreign wines in Ljubljana. In 2017 eVino bar was renovated and extended. Also the culinary offer was changed. Today you can find a wide range of different culinary specialties on our menu, based on local ingredients. eVino bar offers numerous possibilities for organizing business meetings, business parties, as well as training in tasting. Space can be used for business and private meetings. In 2019 eVino bar wine list was awarded with Best of Excellence Award from Wine Spectator (two glasses), and we are the first wine bar / restaurant in Slovenia to have that award. We are very proud to have the best wine list in Slovenia, with more than 900 labels and 150 winemakers on it.

Extremely modern interior and in nice weather cossy terrace. In that kind of ambient is even nicer to spent some time with friends and enjoy in good wine. They have great offer of wine by glass, you can have some extremely well selected snacks. And in the end you can buy wine in nearby wine shop, which is so impressive with its offer. There is a parking place in front of the bar so very handy to go there when you need some wine. Recommended!

Dear Matjaž, we are very sorry hearing about your bad experience. eVino business policy is to replace any wine with a proven mistake. The wine you brought to us for replacement was tried by two of our sommeliers (according to our policy), and since neither of them detected mistake, we couldn't replace it. It’s all about Wine and Spirits

I loved this place exactly for the things that somebody might hold against it. The fact that it requires a ride from a city center makes it less crowded and adds greatly on the cosy factor and the ability the focus on the drink as well as the conversation with your party. Wine list is all you would ever wanted. The staff can go out of their way to offer support in selection and are able to suggest some hidden gems. Nice variety of spirits as well.

Gin tonic

Can’t imagine worst gin tonic, just had it on Odprta kuhna, not even a shot of gin, almost without ice, half empty glass and tonic without bubbles. And for rhat 6.5 eur never again

Dear Katarina! We are really sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with us on Friday. Unfortunately the ice was melting too fast because of unexpectedly high temperatures on that day, which is most possibly the reason why the taste of the tonic was more plain than usual. As for the amount for the shot of gin, it is 0,03l for one G&T and we are always pouring it in front of the guest. Next time you visit Odprta Kuhna please visit our stand and we will gladly make you an amazing G&T on us!

Friendly place for a glass if wine and a bottle to go

This is a handy place with parking, to grad a glass of wine on a short meet with friend or meeting with business partner. Don't leave with a good bottle for home consumption or a present!

Should change the location

They dont have the best spot/location in my opinion. Been there twice, but would come more often if not so excluded from city vibe... would love them to be in city centre! Other than that must say all well. Not the best but good selection of wines, plenty of snacks that go well with wines (cheese, prosciutto, salami, olives,...) and nice ambient inside the place, especially in the evening.

One of the very fee wine bars in Ljubljana

Unfortunately there just aren't many wine bars in Ljubljana. Sure you can have great wine in most restaurants, but that's not the same. As far as i remember eVino is probably the only wine bar located outside of the immediate city center, in a more business-y area. The bar has a lovely terrace and also serves small meals - mostly cheese and ham platters, salads, sandwiches, on fridays also pizzas. They also sell wines, so it's a good spot for you to try a wide variety of local wine and then buy it. I often come for a glass of wine during the week, since their staff is very knowledgeable, it's never very crowded and they offer a lot of diverse wines per glass.

Great selection of wines, delicious snacks

Although situated in what once could call a small industry cone of Ljubljana, eVino is able to let you forget about it and enjoy it's cozy and relaxed atmosphere. They have a great selection of wines (and also sell them) and offer delicious snacks to go with them. And their service is (usually) amazing!

One of the best wine bars in Slovenia

Very nice wine bar with huge assortment of wines - Slovenian and foreign. Owner is one of the best connoisseurs of wines in Slovenia and a sommelier. Indulge and have yourself a glass of wine or champagne, roasted coffee or a freshly baked croissant.
