Carnelian sausage îs a traditional food in Slovenia, as is the barley soup also served here. We ordered two sausages and a bowl of soup which came with bread, two crusty rolls, and mounds of horseradish and mustard, plus two beers. The entire meal cost...15 Euros which was very reasonable.
The problem was it was too much food for us. The meal was very filling and good in a hearty way, although the soup is not terrible distinctive in flavour. However, you really should try the sausage at least once while in Slovenia. But, I would suggest for two people ordering either one sausage and the soup (which is still a lot) or just the two sausages and rolls.
Also arrive early for lunch as the limited outside seating is taken up fast and the restaurant next door is not particularly happy if you use their seating. We were lucky the day we visited as shortly after we started to eat there were people standing waiting for tables and then a drove of Hungarian hockey fans arrived ( in town for a European championship game against Slovenia).
I would recommend eating lunch at least once at the Klobasarna.More
