For obvious reasons this is the busiest little fast food outlet in the old town. We stopped for a quick lunch on a recommendation from a local. There was a bit of a queue but it was dealt with very professionally by the only two...people working there. You have a very limited choice of food but I liked that. It was more than enough to keep you going until supper. And I had a half portion. Watch out for the horse radish, it kicks!! Local beer and some crafts available. Try the local wine called Cviček.More

This “fast food” is almost on central square in central of Ljubljana. In front on cathedral St. Nicolas. Few tables outside and some number of pigeons which flying around but mostly stay on ground and do not disturb people when they eat. But sausages is...fantastic. Especially in combination with “Ričet” ( homemade thick soup ) what is very tasty and nice. Also bread they prepare by them self and with each of portions it hot and fresh. Price and portion are very fair, when you include exclusivity of place where is this unusually “fast food” situated. Also they have some other specialties like Kranjska sausage with Istrian soup and also some else, but that I will try next time when I will visit Ljubljana like a turist.More

OK, my hubby travels to eat, and he prefers sausages above all else. Sausages are like wallets or shoes--a very personal preference. He loves the Nuremberg sausages, the Bulgarian sausages, and these from Klobasarna---and these are very reasonably priced. Too bad that they are so...far away, or we would make it our official residence.More

I visited twice, once trying the traditional Carnolian Sausage and then a slovenian take on a sausage roll with a sausage, sauerkraut and pastry concoction that was perfect.

I was just wondering along thinking I wanted food but couldn't be bothered with a sit-down meal when I came across this place! Chopped up sausage with a bread roll, mustard and horseradish - with a coca-cola it came to about 9.5 Euros. Friendly and...quick service, delicious food to eat while walking back to my hotel along the riverside.More

Soups (barley and punpkin) were ok, but nothing all that special, and for €5 somewhat on the expensive side.

Carnelian sausage îs a traditional food in Slovenia, as is the barley soup also served here. We ordered two sausages and a bowl of soup which came with bread, two crusty rolls, and mounds of horseradish and mustard, plus two beers. The entire meal cost...15 Euros which was very reasonable. The problem was it was too much food for us. The meal was very filling and good in a hearty way, although the soup is not terrible distinctive in flavour. However, you really should try the sausage at least once while in Slovenia. But, I would suggest for two people ordering either one sausage and the soup (which is still a lot) or just the two sausages and rolls. Also arrive early for lunch as the limited outside seating is taken up fast and the restaurant next door is not particularly happy if you use their seating. We were lucky the day we visited as shortly after we started to eat there were people standing waiting for tables and then a drove of Hungarian hockey fans arrived ( in town for a European championship game against Slovenia). I would recommend eating lunch at least once at the Klobasarna.More

Loved this hole in the wall type place for a delicious, traditional late night sausage. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Lovely place outside to sit, not too crowded - being set back from the manic river area - but just enough vibe and atmosphere...to enjoy and relax by the cobbled street and pretty church.More
