The coffee is good, food is good, but the stuff is awful, unfriendly... every time I go there I feel not welcome...
And one more thing that I noticed: before they serve food, they touch it with hands... first they touch dirty dishes, tables, chairs...and then food 😱🤢More
I love early mornings when I have enough time to go to Bazilika Bistro right after they open. Nicest smell of fresh food, tasty natural orange juice, toast, coffee. That's how I love my mornings to start. I don't even need to mention their super...tasty and healthy lunches, right?More
Nice ambiance, cozy little cafe. That's the only thing I can really comment as we didn't get to eat there. We found it while researching for soups and light food options in the area and the good reviews and menu attracted us.
Website is a...bit confusing though cause it says it's open till 11pm and they serve food also until late, but when we got there before dinnertime, we found out their kitchen closes at 3pm. Anyway, the place looked really cozy and it would be nice to have a cup of coffee and do some reading, but we were looking to try their soups, pies and sandwiches. They had some ready made 2 quiches on the counter but since it was the first day after the holidays, they didn't have a lot of supplies delivered. We wanted to order a smoothie to take out, cause they seemed so refreshingly good, but they didn't have any ingredients :-(
To be fair, the staff was very welcoming and apologetic that they didn't have the supplies to make us our smoothies. She invited us to come back the next day, did some marketing pitch that their food is really good. Unfortunately, we were leaving the next day.More
We were meeting friends in 20 minutes abd were delighted to find this local spot across the street from where we were staying. We ordered soups and quiches to go and it was all super yummy and quick. The bistro was warm and welcoming so...would have been nice to eat there but we were in a rush.More
If you have time for lunch in Ljubljana during the week, you have to try Bazilika Bistro! I loved the rice bowl and their pies are amazing. I always take the salad too, since you can try every salad from the salad bar. The coffee...is also very nice!More
Nice breakfast, we had granola with fruits and yoghurt, sandwich with ham and cheese and greens and a toast with peenut butter, bananas and agave sirup! Soy milk also available for your latte and cappuccinos!
