My friends ordered from here and it was pretty decent. The lady was helpful and tried her best, even if she didn’t speak very good English.

The staff at the restaurant was very rude. We waited a long time for food. In the end, when we wanted to pay each one individually, the waiter scolded us for not making separate bills.

We ordered the Peking duck. It was about 100g of meat for 38€ !!! Unbelievable - normally you should call the police for this price - value

The restaurant is nicely decorated with Chinese culture ambience. The food was nice and I can say it’s as close as it gets to authentic Chinese food. I can’t complain more. But what turned us off was the bad service. The fact that we were...asked to went upstairs to eat was not our fault. I know it’s not convenient to walk up and down but we asked for reasonable items to complement our dinner. These were served with “moody” faces. And no attempt to come up to see if we need anything extra.More

Although the food is not bad, the stuff is very rude and has zero respect for the customer. Other than that, the ambient is pretty good as well as the food.

Our hotel reception recommended this Chinese restaurant and we were very suspicious that it may be “I scratch your back etc” recommend. How wrong were we! Two 500cl beers and Peking duck and crispy duck and pancakes and rice and spicy mixed veg. All delicious...at a price of €44. Don’t hesitate if in Slovenia and worth a detour!More

After walking tour around the old town, our tour group of 20+ came by here for lunch and it was past 12.30pm and the restaurant was already packed with diners. We were promptly ushered to a private section inside the restaurant. The ambience of the...restaurant was nice and in ancient China theme with the chinese decor items like lanterns, calligraphy and wall paintings. And they also play Chinese songs (to be exact, Taiwanese songs of the 70-80s, very nice and soothing songs). Our lunch was a 8-course meal if I remembered correctly and that comprised of steamed fish, sweet and sour pork, vegetable soup, stir fried chicken and vegetables and fresh cut fruits of oranges. I must say based on several past experiences on dinning in Chinese restaurants in Europe, the food were usually overly salty and oily or too bland. But this one was different. In fact, the food were very nice and tasty and akin to the ones in Hong Kong, in particular the sweet and sour pork where the dish was said to be originated from there or Canton. Super delicious for this dish. We were served Chinese tea. The other dishes were quite good too, not salty or oily, only issue was the steamed fish, that had many tiny little bones and had to be eaten with great care and surely not suitable for elderly or little children. Service staff was friendly and efficient (in particular the Chinese lady who took charge of our section). Used plates were cleared promptly, tea refilled and the food were also served promptly. Actually, we did enjoy the food and as part of this entire Balkans trip, we had dined in a few so called Chinese restaurants and this one was the best, in terms of food quality, service and ambience and in fact, also better than the ones we had in London, Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Madrid etc, just a name a few. Not sure if the owner/chefs are from Taiwan or Hong Kong, but their food were nice and surely different from the ones from China!More

Rudest staff I have ever had to deal with in my life!!! I am of Asian background and they assumed I speak Chinese. When I told them I can only speak English they ignored me and refused to help me. They looked at me as...if I was being inconvenient to them. Horrible place, wouldn’t recommend.More

The restaurant serves good Chinese food which is similar to the taste in China but of course, slightly accommodating local taste. If you are craving for Chinese food, this is the place to go. Don’t expect much on service

Students are often left waiting. Today people who came after us (we were waiting for 45 minutes already) got the meal before us. They didn't even apologize. Portions are also quite small and staff is very unfriendly. I do not recommend.

One of the worst experience in the chinese restaurant ever. Staff is unkind and uncommunicative, a kind smile wouldn’t harm anyone. Service was really slow and the worst part was the food. Too salty, too greasy and overall not really good. The restaurant is full...of students I guess they’ve calibrated quality to low budget clientelle. Would not recommend.More
