Behind a humble, discreet entrance at Križevniška street next to the Križanke theatre, Shambala is a place of harmony. The interior merges the old thick-walled Ljubljana house with a stylish modern interior design, which shows some eastern mystique. The food follows this composition in reverse: It’s essentially Asian, incorporating modern trends and a glimpse of what we are traditionally used to. In short - it’s the eastern promises fulfilled.

I was at lunch within a week of restaurants. The room is very pleasant, the music is calm and quietly quiet. A lunch with four dishes was exceptional. From the greetings kitchen to the dessert, which is really original made. The main dish is, in...More
Thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service. A real gem!
Particularly enjoyed the mixed starter selection comprising teriyaki chicken, snow peas and tofu, Vietnamese spring rolls, tempura vegetables.
We went to Shambala with friends for a "New Years" dinner. We reserved a table (I recommend doing it prior the visit) for 4 and the restaurant was all booked when we reserved.
Atmosphere was really nice and warm and the staff is really nice....More
