After a long search for a restaurant that would offer us a real touch of Italian cuisine, we came across this restaurant.
Our rating for the service and friendliness of the staff is 4.0/5, the staff put us at a table in the corner of the restaurant where the waiters pass quickly every minute.
Food rating is 3.8/5. In our opinion, the pizza was not satisfactory for a better rating. There are places in Ljubljana where you can eat tastier pizza for the same money.
The rating for the ambience is 4.0/5.
The restaurant is mid-range with solid prices.
There is plenty of room for change and improvement!

Great lunch break in the city center, usually I prefer abroad to avoid Italian cuisine to try the local but fast passing through town we stopped here on Recommendation of a tourist office attendant and we were satisfied. Good pizza as well as cut beef. Friendly staff and average prices. Recommended

Good Italian pizzeria located in the historic center; A little small and cramped place with friendly staff and excellent pizzas.
Since the space is limited it is best to book, we hadn't booked but they still found us a table which had to be freed up by a certain time because it was already booked.
Although it is an "Italian" pizzeria, the dining room staff does not speak Italian.

Restaurant was busy but not crazy. We’re seated fairly quick ordered drinks and an appetizer everything was going well. Then the waiter disappeared once we ordered our mains We sat and watched for over an hour while other people were served and only you once did our waiter come back, would have been nice to have an extra glass of wine with my dinner. Food was a little above average here for three nights will definitely not be back.

We cannot understand the high rating of this restaurant. We ate two different pasta dishes. The food was hot and edible, but not very good.
The pasta was too hard. The explanation that this is how it is cooked in Italy leaves us speechless. We have been on holiday in Italy many times, even far away from tourist hotspots, and we have never been served such al dente pasta there.
The sauces also lacked seasoning.
As already written, edible, but not as good as rated here.

In very expensive Ljubljana, we stopped, almost out of desperation, for a pizza for lunch.
Not bad pizza, quality of average Italian takeaway.
Throughout the lunch, we are accompanied by a very entertaining soundtrack, which ranges from Toto Cutugno to Ricchi e Poveri
So, when you go to pay 60 euros for 3 pizzas, 1 beer and 2 coffees, you only realize it after a while.

The welcome was friendly, the restaurant is well located but that's all.
The pizzas are very average (4 cheeses), the room is without charm with electro music in the background. The service is light (the aperitifs were served after the pizza…)
Another point, the cleanliness of the toilets is very very average.

The reviews made us visit this restaurant. The waiter (boss?) informed us as soon as we came in that they only serve pizza. Well, that wasn't a problem, since we wanted to eat pizza anyway.
Unfortunately, he forgot to mention that there are only 8 different ones and no changes are possible. The pizza was good but nothing special.
We also ordered a bottle of wine, but there was no menu, so we didn't know how much it would cost, which is why we weren't pleasantly surprised.
It was cold, the door was constantly opening and closing. It was also far too bright.

Tucked away in the old town is this unassuming and no frills restaurant with excellent choice, welcoming staff who created a good vibe and meals very fairly priced. Capriccio filled up quickly after we arrived for an early evening meal - always a good sign. if we'd been in town for another night we would have gone back there a second time.

The food was good but the service really bad. We waited for a long time for someone to come and take our order, in the end we had to ask one of the passing by waiters if we could order, I'm not sure if they would come to us by themselves. When we asked if we could order, the waiter's response was kind of weird, he sounded like he was surprised why are we asking him. We got the same reaction when we asked if we could pay. We weren't quite sure what have we done wrong, they woudn't come to us without us asking them to, not even once, and when we asked them they sounded surprised/annoyed? The place was not crowded at that time.

Ordered takeaway - the truffle pasta gluten free was so salty. If we’ ve eaten at the restaurant, it would be easier to have a replacement. The salt content was unbearable. Major waste while we were looking forward to being last meal here.

I decided to visit this place based on the excellent reviews this place had received. I ordered a pizza. Service was friendly and very good and while being busy the pizza was served relatively fast. The pizza was ok but was expecting a bit more based on the reviews that I had read. Also noted that quite a few of the customers were speaking Italian which usually is a good sign when visiting an Italian restaurant.

On The Boxing day we made a trip to Slovenia’s capital with my friends from Sorrento. All those who once took southern Italians to a Slovene pizza place know how I felt at that prospect. My daughter who lives in Ljubljana suggested Pops Pizza and warned us it is worthwhile waiting. We waited outside for the table and got it faster than expected. This is where SANJA comes in. Once inside a rather small interior she found us a table by the window at once , was swift, knowledgable, kind and helpful.
Pizzas were nothing we ever ate before. From fluffy dough to top notch ingredients to quick arrival of food - although the place was packed - they were heavenly and my lovely Gianni and Maria could not believe their taste buds.
Their home made beer was good, too and Maria mentioned she would like to have a papernapkin or some kind od paper with the name of the place as a souvenir. We enquired with SANJA again and she came back after a minute with the place’ s signature plate as a souvenir , the plate they serve food on!!!
Thank you everyone: the cooks, the waiters and above all our thanks to the lady above mentioned!

Nice restaurant with gluten free options too. The waiter was very friendly and attentive to our needs and the pizza we had was great. One of the better GF pizza I have had and plenty of variety on the menu to choose from too.

A small restaurant adjacent to the cathedral in the old city. Sit and watch the people going by whilst enjoying good food, with very ample portions served by staff who are enthusiastic, polite and know what they are doing. Not gourmet dining but it does not pretend to be, just excellent dinner for two ( and many families) with more than ample choice. Understands gluten free requirements too.
