On arriving after booking two days earlier, our table was not ready and had to be made up we were left waiting for a while, though offered drinks, the implication was that this was because this was the table was not ready and they were to be complementary, though we were charged for them anyway. The food also was not... More

The food is amazing, unique and prepared with such care for details. It's very hard to decide what to eat since everything is super tasty. If you really want to indulge yourself and try something new, you shouldn't miss this place. It's a tad expensive but well worth it.

This restaurant was recommended by DK so we went out of our way to find it as it is right on the edge of the Old Town. Well worth the walk but you need to book. We sat in the garden but the inside was very nice. We had the cuttlefish risotto and the ravioli for starters - both delicious... More

My friend and I had the seafood tasting menu. It was delicious! The black ink ice cream was a bit strange but we enjoyed all our courses and the serving sizes were excellent.

We had an excellent family lunch in Spajza's lovely garden. The four course lunch was very good and also reasonably priced. Furthermore, the service was sterling: the waiter did his best (successfully) to find our young daughter something to eat. Given the often fractious restaurant experiences parents of young children experience, this made the visit the best dining experience in... More

Following our guide's personal recommendation, we dined in the private and peaceful courtyard of Spajka and had quite a treat. Two of us were permitted to share a multiple course fish degustation menu (most restaurants in the US will not allow that), so we were able to enjoy many flavors and seafoods--scallops crudo; pasta with squid ink and wonderful seasonings... We wanted to have a good dinner and we have tried this restaurant. The place is very good looking. The service and the food are both really very good. We did only tried pasta and first courses because the main dishes of food and meat were on the expensive side. With 4 of those and 6 glasses of whine it... More
