Not going to argue with the food, which is top notch, but the ambiance and service here leave a lot to be desired. First of all, the space is so ergonomically poor, with the stairs to the basement taking up so much of the room,...that the seats are cramped against the walls. They try to make up for it with pillows on the benches, but this just takes away more space. The service here was just as hard. Instead of being helpful on explaining the dishes, we were literally pointed to an electronic board they have them all displayed on. But the traditional Slovenian porridge I had with fake ham in it was delicious so I suffered the hardship with only some ill will.More

Quiet cafe in the heart of the city. I came in because I saw reviews about chai lattes but unfortunately they don’t carry chai anymore. I had an oat milk latte that was good. Atmosphere is a bit stiff compared to other spots but service...is friendly.More

Have to say we felt this was the best value for money food on our trip across Europe. There is an odd arrangement where you eat next door to the kitchen but it was fine. Top Marks.

We coincidentally found this gem and can only recommend it for any vegetarian/vegan. Taman serves orgànic food only. Our dishes were fresh and deliciously prepared served by a extremely knowledgeable waiter. Even the organically certified wine was very good. We initially didn't realise Taman was...a full restaurant because the menu is displayed on a screen inside as it changes daily. Any time again.More

Food was okay, but we paid almost 10€ for “vegan” bolognese that you can make it at home for 1€. I was a little bit dissapointed.

Great food, great service and very reasonably priced for all the fresh produce involved. We shared a starter of hummus & linseed crackers then main dishes of quinoa/chanterelle mushrooms and watermelon/feta salad. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. We also tried a couple of...the juices (which were halfway between a juice and granita) and very refreshing. Neither of us are vegetarian but we enjoyed the food and left feeling full. I will definitely return next time I am in Ljubljana.More

Perhaps we were just unlucky or perhaps the chef wasn't on top form, but our experience was very disappointing. Our food was not as good as some of the uploaded photos, which I agree look really good. Our starters were decent, but the two mains...(risotto and spaghetti) were very small and lacked imagination (we would have ordered that great-looking burger but it wasn't on the menu the night we came). Both dishes had hardly any veg or protein (the spaghetti had a little tofu but the risotto nothing as far as we could see) - they were both mainly carbs. Agree with a previous reviewer from April that the portions were very small and the price very expensive (I don't like to be negative about portion size as it sounds greedy but our mains really were tiny...I heard the waitress advise another table that the portions were small but we had already ordered by that point). Unfortunately we still felt hungry after our meal. I think this restaurant could do better, and because I am a massive fan / supporter of vegan food I would actually give it another go if the price was more reasonable, but for tourists with one night in the city I couldn't endorse this place on our experience, I'm sorry.More

Seriously, give this place a try. The food is inventive without being pretentious and extremely tasty. Between us we had the sweet potato and apple soup and the summer minestrone to start, both excellent. I had the beetroot risotto main which was good, well seasoned...and enjoyable but my partner’s burger was out of this world. We liked it so much, we came back the following evening! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for doing vegan and veggie food right.More

I would eat there again! Plenty of vegan options, creative dishes and lovely presentation! Friendly staff and a nice furnishment. I really liked that the place wasn‘t overcrowded by tourists. The price was ok.

Found Taman Organics from tripadvisor during a two night break in Ljubljana and so happy we did. As Vegans we get so excited when a place serves something we can eat let alone find food, choices, presentation and service so fine :)
