Great sushi. The menu is very basic and that’s what makes it great. There aren’t many tables so I suggest that you reserve one. The price is also very reasonable.

We have eaten two lunch menus (salmon teriyaki) and a few pices of maki sushi. Everything was beautifully made and it was delicious as well as fresh. Can't wait to go back and order sushi for my main course. Great service.

I have been going to Japanese restaurants all over the world since I was very young and have to say we really enjoyed. Small place kind of hidden away, nice atmosphere. A simple menu with top authentic quality. Would go back for sure.

Oh man, their tempura mix is amazing. Perfectly light and non oily battered veggies and fish. Their sushi is also fresh and delicious.

You can see and feel throughout the dinner how much love, attention and imagination has been put into this restaurant. The ingredients seemed very organic and recipes were original and most of all very very tasty.

It’s a really nice surprise to find Mr. Sato’s sushi house and to have so nice Japanese food in Ljubljana. I have visited this cute little restaurant with my Japanese friend who is a foodie like myself and she could not believe how good the food was! The choice of chef’s menu was excellent - the quality and the presentation of the food was really...great and so was the service! Price not too high for the amazing experience you have! Ambience is below average: you sit in a hallway of an office building or in a hot restaurant with no air conditioning. The restaurant does not have ice and the drinks are warm. The waitress likes to argue with guests. I got a warm ice...tea. I asked for ice. She said “it is ice-cold”. Well it was supposed to be an ice tea, there was no ice, and it was not ice cold but warm. By the time I got the main dish it was at room temperature, which was 30 degrees celsius in the summer. I asked for a lunch menu without the desert. She told me “you cannot order without a desert.” I told her to bring me the lunch just not the desert, and I am fine with paying the full price. She argued “I can’t. I will bring it all. It is just an ice cream. You will still have to pay.” Sashimi was average quality. The value for money was average.More

I have never eaten anything better in my whole entire life. I eat there a lot and it's always unbelievably delicious, fresh and for the most part- healthy. The food there realy blows my mind, I love it. Since not a lot of people go...there, you ussualy don't have to make a reservation and the service is quick. I would like to mention the location of the place, which bothers a lot of people, since it is located in an 'old socialist shopping centre' and it might be off-putting for some. But I really believe that the location sort of adds value to the restaurant, because it amplifies that is still not well-known and is sort of a 'hidden treasure'. Also the prices are probably a lot cheaper because of it. If you like japanese food, it's a must.More
