Don't hestiate to step in if you're tired of "kapusta" and "schabowy". Food here is vey good. For larger groups you can take huge plates full of meat. You can try there a very good lamb

This bar/restaurant was directly behind the apartment we stayed in and the outside terrace was busy through both lunch and dinner service both Friday and Saturday, so a popular place with locals. We had several rounds of drinks in the nice relaxing surroundings and watched the staff turn people away as it was so busy. The food looked amazing on... More

The staff at Banja Luka really need to lift their game to ensure their customer service matches their delicious food and the impressions/expectations this fairly hip and original restaurant initially gives. We waited a really long time for our meal (not sure how long exactly, maybe 40mins+) and they forgot to bring out our salad. We kept waiting for the... More

After 1 hour of waiting, we decided to leave... first it took them 15 minutes to come to us to take our drink order, then 45 minutes later still no beer and Rakia, so forget about ordering food... so we just left without having a drink or food.

This place is located on super nice street close to everything with a large terrace. Pity that service was so horrible that I have to rate is as poor. They are not understaffed, on the opposite, there were 4 girls wondering about wasting time, while 4 of us were waiting 15 minutes to get acknowledged, and then 43 minutes to... More

This place, just a 5 minute walk from Sofitel hotel, has an excellent menu. The steak tartare was my favorite of anyplace I've had that dish. The ambience is cool - it's decked out to have the feel of a spacious cellar. It gets very popular on Fridays and Saturdays so reservations are recommended.

As we felt like having a Balkan meat lunch on last Sunday we headed for Banja Luka, which is centrally located, just a few steps from Swietokrzyska underground station. When we arrived around half of the tables were occupied and some waiters were walking around with nothing to do. Nevertheless, after being given the menus, no one came to take... More

The first nights we were in Warsaw, we enjoyed a few drinks outside the bar and we really like the atmosphere. It was also located just around the corner of our Hostel which made it a good location. The second night we asked for a table for two for dinner but it was fully booked. The last night in Warsaw... More

Nice place in the center of Warsaw (near Marszalkowska and Swietokrzyska corner), quite a good service, but the food was really disappointing. Tatar beef (biftek) was fresh but without necessary ingredients and with mustard! (sic!) I didn't know that Tatars knew mustard... A plate of hummus (average) was served with different taste hummus inside glasses - ridiculous when you realize... More

Description
"Best Balkan cuisine in an unnamed neighborhood!"

Banja Luka is a wonderful town of sunny Bosnia. For centuries inhabited by Croats, Serbs, Bosniaks, Jews and Muslims was an example of good neighborly relations and positive mutual influence of many cultures. It's a fabulous city, destroyed by the terrible earthquake in 1969 and the subsequent war. It is for us a symbol of the Balkans, a lively mix of cultures and traditions, we want you to pass it in a casual atmosphere with a pinch of salt. We offer you delicious, a little crazy, real Balkan cuisine.
Banjaluka started in 2002 and spent 10 years in Mokotow district. After moving to the heart of the city some nightlife was added to the family-friendly attitude. The restaurant is famous for its diverse balkan cuisine, highest ingredient and dish quality and casual atmosphere. Fresh balkan menu was developed by Tadeusz Muller - Banjaluka is now a real Balkan food venue with flair for seafood and large portions of meat with the legendary 20cm Gurmanska Pljeskavica as a flag dish. The place stays open late (11PM weekdays and 12PM on weekends). During lunch and the weekend brunches Banjaluka serves fine as a centrally located balkan diner and quality time with your family an friends.
