We visited in March 2022. Good food, generous portions and impressive choice of vodka. Martini was excellent. Waiter refused to serve us tap water saying “we don’t give it to guests”. This is cheap and counterproductive money making scheme. Restaurants should make money based on...quality of their food, drinks and service not by forcing customers to pay for water! We found this very irritating, but sadly it is not uncommon practice in restaurants across Europe.More

This restaurant is recommended by the Guide Michelin. I decided to visit this place on an early Sunday evening. As I‘m a vegetarian, there were not many things to choose from the menu, which are suitable for me, but that was totally ok. As a...starter I ordered a salad with goat cheese and this had some smoked beetroot and other interesting ingredients. I liked this salad! As a main course I had a cauliflower on some pea mousse, but I was missing the cherry tomatoes with rosemary as it was described. No doubt, the taste of this dish was great, but not exactly as specified in their menu. The dessert had also a good taste, but was presented sloppily on the plate and I was missing the seasonal fruits and the chocolate powder! The location is nice and hip and apparently they attach a high value on pairing the food with some extraordinary vodka. In my opinion the service was polite on the one hand, but a bit offish on the other. Nevertheless I would return to this restaurant and enjoy the good food! Prices were reasonable.More

First of all the restaurant was cold. The food was good, but the service was inexcusable, the staff was not friendly, not professional and kept looking at us weirdly from the moment we went inside till the moment we left. The waiters kept talking to...each other and playing with their phones, in result no one was really around when we needed something. Although the restaurant was empty they seated us next to kitchen so it was really noisy. We ordered a beef medium when it came and we cut it, we saw that it was not medium but rare so we informed the waitress, she was really aggressive and asked as what we wanted for her to do, if we wanted a new beef or for that one to be cooked more. We asked for a new one and she took the plate, she went into the kitchen and started yelling in polish. When the beef finally came and we continued our meal one of us had ended faster their meal, they came and took the plate while the other one was still eating. After that incident the lady that we talked about the beef kept staring at us. We left the soonest we could. Awful experience, this restaurant cannot be in the Michelin guide, we do not recommend!!!!More

went with wife and son for a tasting menu. overall experience is ok but not wow. This tasting menu is an opportunity for the restautant to showcase. Did they deliver? not really. first we were seating in the bar section. Very noisy due to the...activity by the bar tender: mixing ice, banging glasses etc. and there were only 4 tables and 10 covers. the mushroom soom was good and had a żurek base. Nothing to complain about. Had then the duck. The jus and the carot puree were nice but the meat was way over cook. Duck should be served medium or medium rare. it really killed the flavour. Deserts: Kremowka and Beza were both nice. Meal did not impress overall and neither did the athmosphere. IMPORTANT: Parking is a nightmare in the area. Do not come with a car.More

We didn’t go to Elixir for the vodka but, from the reviews, we expected good food. We were very disappointed. The starters were ok. The black pudding in tempura batter was certainly an interesting dish. The main courses did not live up to the standard...that we expected. I chose the sea bass; a dish that I eat frequently, but it was ruined by over cooking. My husband went for the knuckle. It was well presented on the plate but unfortunately the taste wasn’t as good as the look. We always want to finish a meal and think ‘We’ll come back here and have the same dishes again’. We didn’t and we won’t.More

Saw this and instantly was intrigued by the concept of pairing vodkas with each course. The restaurant was modern and stylish inside with large glass pain windows to view outside. 3 courses, 2 glasses of wine, a beer and 6 vodkas for around £70 is...very good value for money. Service was spot on and the food a modern polish doing twists on traditional dishes. The polish sausage soup was definitely a firm favourite.More

This place was just delightful. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was beautiful and overall there was a lovely atmosphere. We had a starter, soup and main meal and each one was so tasty. My partner had his meals paired with the vodka tasting menu...which was a great experience but my gosh, they were strong! Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant, it was so reasonably priced and certainly couldn’t complain with the bill. With 3 courses, 1 vodka pairing, 1 beer and 2 glasses of wine it was about £72.More

After having visited several Polush restaurants the food at Elixir was a nice change. It is still Polish food but with a bit of a twist. I am not a big vodka fan but I liked most if the vodkas I had. Especially the one...with rosemary after the steak. We paid approx 120€ for 2 persons who had each three courses with cortesponding vodka.More

My wife and I went there last week as it was one of the recommended restaurants in Fine Dining Week. We were truly impressed: excellent service, waiters are truly knowledgeable about drinks and how to pair them with food. When it comes to food, it's...a bit hit or miss - some dishes are absolutely phenomenal, some or so-so (not great, not terrible;). But all in all, the place is worth checking out!More

A very successful combination of traditional polish meals, served in a Michelin quality served polite and observant. A very nice touch, having the vodka in focus, with the servings as “side dishes”. Good vodka and good food

Never having tried vodka, a vodka and food pairing dinner was always going to be special for me if not a challenge. But, it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The restaurant itself it very fashionable full of the well heeled of Warsaw in...their finery. However the staff were not standoffish, rather they were helpful, friendly and very efficient. My daughter and I dithered around the menu and our waitress patiently and expertly guided us through the selections. The food and vodka pairings were amazing. The taste combinations that they suggest were superb. Whilst the amount of vodka ( they recommend 2 vodka servings per course) seemed excessive, it actually was not and after a 2 course dinner ( very filling portions and marvellous fresh hot bread basket) we left feeling full and clear headed. Not at all what I had anticipated. So, if you enjoy good food, interestingly presented and well paired with matching drinks, do try this for the total effect. I am now more willing to try vodka and enjoy it's complex and interesting character.More

We visited this fine dining restaurant in Poland as a pre birthday treat. Located in the central north of Warsaw near to many hotels and cocktail bars lies this gem of an establishment that offers fantastically presented tasty meals and fine wines at the hands...of a restaurant that has won many awards. The arrival was however tainted by a rude welcome. Our first host and waitress identifiable with red hair was the most rude lady we have ever encountered in both Poland or elsewhere. This staff member was clearly frustrated that we could not speak Polish, she became visibly agitated and arrogant when faced with this challenge and resorted to swapping our service displaying a child like huff now to another member of staff who was thankfully excellent and helpful. This new waiter was able to serve us professionally and to a high standard and said himself he could not understand why the other waitress was finding her job difficult. Apart from the poor level of service demonstrated by the one staff member, the food was amazing, and the wine excellent. Their own brand horseradish vodka is a must try. I recommend a visit to the Roots Bar and More located next door for awesome post dinner cocktails. BeLu.More

The food was very tasty and it was a very unique way to eat with the different vodka pairings. I tried the pork knuckle with horse radish ice cream that was paired with an horseradish vodka, which really complemented the dish. The service was great...and the different vodkas and how we should drink them was very well explained. But the acoustics and ventilation in the restaurant was very poor though. It's an experience that I can definitely recommend!More
