Our dinner was a fabulous selection of modern Polish offerings, including herring that was simply perfect and truffle beef stroganoff that my daughter stated she’ll dream about for the rest of her life. Opt in to try the perfectly paired vodkas (we stayed with getting...a selection appetizers to make our meal and try as many dishes as we could). The food combined with the lovely, welcoming service made this a wonderful evening in Warsaw. We‘ll be back!More

I loved how the food (which is really good) combined with recommended vodka. Also, great service with a friendly waiter (sorry, don’t remember the name) who in English and Polish explained the manufacturing process and flavors of their main drink. Kudos to him! The place...is not cheap, but hey, you have a Michelin restaurant here. Totally recommendedMore

We had seen some recent poor reviews of Elixir but we were extremely happy with our lunch. A brilliant appetiser tasting plate for 2 with fresh, warm and crusty sourdough bread was a major highlight as was the golonka done in the Elixir style. The crab...pierogi were good but a little “bland”.We had some red and white wine to the meal and some fabulous vodkas. We tried a number but the ones that stood out were the coffee, the Kukuleczka, and the Goldwasser. The service was great; attentive, knowledgeable, but not over-bearing. Overall, this a great restaurant and you can argue about its Michelin rating after you visit! Enjoy!More

I am very disappointed in my visit to that restaurant, when you're traveling you rely on things like Michelin stars and Elixir is not a Michelin restaurant. This is the fifth michelin restaurant i visit in past couple of years. All of the food was...poorly served, the main course was meat that was over cooked and served with steamed vegetables. We were informed that the restaurant had around 700 types of vodka and we would get vodka with every dish, we orderd red wine to the table then they did not want to serve vodka with the rest of the courses.More

Came with a group of approx 30 pax and were served a pre-ordered group menu. Two appetizers which were the redeeming part of the menu. Mains were inedible - a selection of dry fish or dry meat. The people in my group were not even...bothered to stay seated long enough to have dessert but opted for cocktails in the outdoor area. The service was very attentive but a bit slow - lots of servers but nobody with the task to do other than just their exact thing. Always having to wait for another. The think that stood out for us positively were the cocktails! And the vodka shots!More

Was really excited about the alcohol pairings with each meal… only to be disappointed. When you opt in the the ‘shots of vodka’ there’s a before and an after pairing. The afters just seemed to be different straight shots of vodka, where the befores were...to enhance the dish flavor… but a shot of raspberry vodka isn’t that exciting before a duck dish. That said the duck dish nor schnitzel were that great. The beef tartare was enjoyable. Overall felt more like a gimmick, and knowing now, I would have just tried somewhere elseMore

I've been to many restaurants all over the world who offer fine dining. For sure this one is far from it. There are better places in warsaw which offer way better food and experience, where You are not scammed by awards. Bread served straight from...the fridge (yes, You read it correct) served on paper napkin which got stuck to it so You have to peel it off. Food was average far from expectations. Chocolate sufle was a joke and if You'd like to have a coffee at the end and god forbid, You like it with lactose free milk, You have to go elsewhere as this place do not have neither soya, oat or anything like that in their offer. And last but not least - FLIES - yes! In the middle of winter ... I can guarantee You will be disappointedMore

My fiance and I visited for dinner. We're not huge vodka people, but we were interested and thought - why not? We ended up getting cocktails with our salad, and then trying the recommended vodka / liquor for each of our soup, entree, and dessert...courses. We didn't shoot them - we sipped them with the food. A couple across from us went a little harder - they were red-faced by the time they got their entrees :) I tried a ziemniak for the first time (similar to vodka, but only distilled once) and really enjoyed it. Service was great, food was excellent. Recommend!More

Nice atmosphere and interior. The welcoming was a bit nonchalantly. We had a lot of questions about the menu and our waiter continued with a bit of an attitude. The food was ok but I would have expected more as this restaurant is recommended in...Guide Michelin. Food a bit overpriced.More

I’d read about this restaurant and booked ahead before we arrived in Warsaw last week. I was intrigued by the idea of food pairing with vodka. The restaurant didn’t disappoint. The food was both creative and delicious. I started off with a cocktail called Let...it Bee - honey in there but not sweet. My favourite dish was the black pudding in tempura to start with which I can recommend. Our waiter was helpful and suggested vodka for us to try. We all like the quince vodka best which we‘ve continued to buy everywhere we‘ve been since. I will definitely visit this restaurant again when in Warsaw.More

This restaurant definitely deserves a big spot on Warsaw culinary map. We stopped for a quick lunch without a reservation and got seated right away. If you are fan of vodka this place has a great pairings and lot of different types to choose. We...chose beers from small brewery. They also have a selection of wines but not that wide if it comes to wine by the glass unless you want to get the whole bottle. They have nice deal for lunch with appetizer, main and dessert but you can still choose a la carte and this is what we did. Chicken broth--served with veal dumplings. Delicious an rich in flavor. `Szuba` Herring--this deconstruction of classic herring salad was a blast and the fish quality was outstanding. this was definitely one of the best herring dishes we ever had. Its a must try. Black Pudding Tempura "Kaszanka"--black pudding is a very well known polish cuisine staple and this idea of serving it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy outer layer containing warm and delicious inside served with carmelized onions, mustard and cherries was a perfect appetizer. Zuchini flowers--super crispy with delicious filling containing goat cheese and topped with almonds and rice chip. Light, savory and very satisfying. All the dishes had an awesome visual presentation that went with great flavor as well. I highly recommend this place.More
