Great steak dinner!

We decided to visit this place, as one of the best restaurants in Warsaw, for our last dinner there and we were certainly not disappointed. Beef and Pepper is a steakhouse specializing in beef meat, and it is very close to the central station and the Palace of Culture and Sciences. There is a bar area located inside the place. The atmosphere was great (there was live music the night we visited), some might say a bit loud for a restaurant, but I personally enjoyed it! As one might expect, there is a large selection of various types of meats to choose from. We ordered a beef salad (at 38 zl), which was very tasty, although not as impressive as described in the menu. For mains, we had a burger with fries (at 59 zl), the rib–Eye Steak Hereford (at 68 zl). There is also a wide selection of premium alcohol and a large selection of wines in the menu, so we ordered a bottle of red wine to pair with our dinner. The burger was decent, while my rib-eye steak was very tasty and perfectly grilled, although the portion seemed a bit small. Service was decent, nothing wrong but the waiters could (and should be) more knowledgeable about the meat they serve or some wine pairing information. Prices were reasonable (although a tad more expensive than other restaurants in Warsaw, and especially the wines were all very expensive), for all the above we paid 309 zl (around 71 euros, so 35 Euros pp). A very nice place to visit in Warsaw, definitely recommended if you are a meat lover.

Fantastic 5 stars Wow what

Fantastic 5 stars Wow what a great restaurant from start to finish. I had a 9pm table on a Friday night with my two sons age 10 & 13. The vibe inside is lively, fun and welcoming and the decor is on point. We arrived 10 mins prior to our booking yet were shown straight to our seats. The kids clocked the popcorn machine straight away and were happy to each receive a bowl pretty quickly. The menu is extensive without being overwhelming & coming from London the prices are fabulous. Every single thing we ordered tasted delicious. I would recommend everything we ate but would probably say don’t bother with the burger like my kids ordered as there is bound to be a yummy steak on there for you instead?! The prawn starter was fabulous and the chicken wings were really tasty , my kids called it chicken roulette as each one was seasoned differently, abs every one was devoured. I are the rib eye and it was seasoned perfectly. I couldn’t finish the jacket potato or spinach side as it was so filling so didn’t order a desert but my son had the cheesecake and loved it. All that food with 2 cokes, 2 glasses of Malbec, 1 glass rose Moët and 1 delicious Expresso Martini only came to £96 ( polish 480 ) I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Just off the Main Street, worth the effort to go and look for it

It is not the easiest place to find, just off a side street. On a Wednesday night was quite busy but the service was friendly and prompt (and in a good English) I ordered a stake that arrived quickly and was served on a chunky wooden board. Really nice!

Really disappointed :(

I don't normally write these reviews but my girlfriend and I came to Warsaw for a city-break. This was the only restaurant on our trip we disliked! Despite the good reviews we kept seeing, the food was not good. The beef salad was served on half of the plate with two very small pieces of beef (size of a finger) and soggy brown coloured tortilla chips on top. The other half of the plate was drizzle for decoration. My partner’s meal was the New York steak and sides. It came with a large attached piece of fat at the side of the meat and so much gristle over half was un-edible. We had a steak at a restaurant chain nearby that was cheaper and so much better. The table rocked and we couldn’t steady it and the loud club music throughout the meal is hardly nice ambiance. My Perla beer was flat and seemed like the end of the barrel. To say it’s more expensive than the majority of restaurants in close proximity it was very bad value for money I felt.

Very average meal

We visited this restaurant after seeing it on trip advisor and our concierge recommend it as it was only round the corner from our hotel. Gave a chain type of vibe which meant waitresses were very disinterested in you and we were actually ignored by 2 different ones when asking for our bill. Food was average. Would not recommend and would not return.

A disappointing experience at this popular steak restaurant in Warsaw.

I am fortunate enough to be able to travel and eat out a great deal with my business. As such I think three elements make for an enjoyable dining experience, (1) The Food and (2) The Service and (3) The ambiance. Sadly there were issues with two of these elements when I visited 'Beef & Pepper' in Warsaw for dinner. Firstly as I was dining alone the front of house put me on a small table tucked out of the way around the side of a wall. This meant that I was mainly invisible to the staff and could have contributed to the fact that I found the service in general to be very inattentive. Just because I am dining alone should not mean you get stuck on an out of the way table. The waitress was friendly enough when she did visit my table to take my order and bring my food, it's just I felt at a restaurant of this calibre an occasional visit to my table to check things were okay would have been appropriate. The food on the menu is mainly steaks as you would expect but it was a nice menu that certainly tempted me. I ordered the Tiger Shrimp to start which were delicious. I then opted for one of the 'PREMIUN' Ribeye steaks from the menu with a side of mash and onion rings. Ordering a 'Premium' steak from a cities top steak restaurant you would expect it to be up there as one of the best steaks ever. Sadly when it came it was not tender at all and rather somewhat chewy. Despite eating out often I rarely ever return food but when paying top dollar for a premium steak and it shows up chewy it had to be returned, so I summoned the Manager and he came and removed my steak. However he left my mash and onion rings on my table and so by the time another steak had been bought to my table some 15 minutes had passed and my sides were stone cold. Again a top restaurant should have taken everything away and bought out my meal fresh. To top it off when my bill came I had been charged for an even more expensive steak (Argentinian) instead of the premium Polish Ribeye I'd ordered. By this time I could not be bothered to raise it with the manager and just paid my bill and left. This is a lively restaurant with pop music playing quite loudly and neon lighting, so it certainly has a pulse and ambiance. Prices for Poland were on the above average side but it is supposed to be premium. In summary due to the very average service, my below average chewy steak and the fact I was erroneously over charged I can only rate Beef & Pepper with 2 out of 5 'Poor'.

Meal of our holiday

Myself and my boyfriend ate here on one of our nights stay in warsaw which was the best meal by far. We both ordered the Argentina rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Modest was very funny cracking jokes whenever he could and looked after us very well.

Good food but wrong stuff!

I liked the food so much, but I can not recommend the restaurant because of staff!!! They are interrested only about your money, not about your satisfaction. If you are solo they would like to sit you only to the bar even if they have free tables. When you order the food they will not bring you any popcorn as to the others or any freebie (liquer) on the end (even of you have paid expensive bill) as to the others!!! Its bit strange behavior. Therefore I will not visit that restaurant anymore and I will not recommend this restaurant anybody!

Hip interiour, disappointing quality of meat

We were very disappointed. We ordered meat from the "premium meat section" of the menu and it was a bad choice, which actually the servant was suggesting us. The meat was super chewy and kinda wiry. We asked the servant if it would be too much if we get two side dishes, she said no and we ordered 2 fries, one salad and corn on the cobb which turned out to be a big mistake. We got this feeling, the more she "sells", the more she or the restaurant earns. Well, bad experience for us.... it was the highest we paid and the lowest quality we got in warsawa

Don’t go there!

Don’t go there! Bad service and DRY meat! The cheese plate (starter) was a joke! We were a group of 13 people, only 1 was happy with their food.. the chefs cut the meat to se how well done the meet is, but this also make all the meat juice go out so it becomes dry. People who ordered “medium” meet got it “blue”.. over all a really bad experience and everyone was disappointed!

Extremely Poor service

This was my second time coming here. My friend and I ordered 2 draft beers. They were a bit sour, and we knew immediately something was wrong with the taste (this happens sometimes with draft, so not a big problem). But then we asked the waiter if he could replace them with different drinks, he claimed he could not because he would have to pay for them. What a ludicrous response to a customer, I have never experienced that before. Eventually he told us to “wait” and brought two new draft beers of the same kind, which was dumb, since obviously they would taste just as bad as the first time. At that point my friend and I just gave up lol. Then for the meat, I ordered the T-bone steak, which the waiter told me was slightly more than 350 grams. At the end of the night, when we were paying, he had charged for more than 600 grams. There was no point arguing, so we just sort of laughed, paid, and left. What a sham of a place.

Hello Dear Johna, after talking to the waiter who served you: I am so sorry for all the bad situations. You got a draft beer - it's our local beer, maybe it has a different flavor. He didn't charge for those beers. A bone-in steak is the price for 100 grams - we have more than 500 grams for these steaks - it is not possible for it to be 350 grams. I apologize you. Great wings, burgers and steak

Top burgers and reasonably priced. Started with the chicken wings and was delighted when Marcin advised they would take 25 minutes. Expected tasty and fresh, got tasty and fresh. I had the burger and my friend had the Argentinian rib eye. Both were great. Just wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have finished!! Top.jon from Marcin taking care of us. Would recommend. In Warsaw found this restaurant on here, the meals were delicious, tiger Scrimp appetizer was fresh all flavors were delicious. Chef recommendations Salmon and vegetables, very fresh perfectly cooked. “An amazing burger” said my son of the Beef and Pepper burger! And the cheese cake beautifully presented and delicious. Really great food, but the service by KLAUDYNA was SUPERB!!

I would probably rate this restaurant 2 , but the fact that this restaurant sits at the top Trip Advisor recommends, warrants the lowest possible score This is a mass market , low quality steakhouse with big turnover of customers. The quality of the meat was fair at best and we waited 45 minutes from the starters being cleared. I have lived in Warsaw for 3 years and there are much better quality steakouses. If yoy want a fun, party night out, and do not care about the quality of the food , this is a good choice. If you want quality meat, in a upmarket environment, with a first rate curated wine list then this is not for you. When trip advisor gets it wrong, it gets it horribly wrong, and here is a case in point. Free Dessert, Free Liquers and a 20%discount did little to make amends for a bad eating experience. This is Not Mortons, Goodmans, or Quality Chop House.

Fantastic Food and Service

Steak houses as they are badged can sometimes just be average Joes, but not this place. We booked late and upon arrival could already see we were going to get something special, the place was rammed. Our waitress Ola, was very attentive all evening explaining anything we did not understand, the filet steak I had was cooked perfectly, I like it rare, it was bag on the money. Not overpriced either. If you are in Warsaw this is a must.
