My name is Davit Turkestanishvili, I'm Georgian and I love to cook! I have long dreamed about my restaurant and it happened. I have restaurant. It's called RUSIKO and the name comes from my mother's name, who, together with my aunt Lali, every day charms the kitchen with the best dishes for you! I also invite you to my world of antique rugs. I managed to collect them from various corners of the world (including Georgia, Persia, Afghanistan and Central Asia), which can and should be purchased! And to fully feel the atmosphere of the Orient - I encourage you to bargain :) For wine lovers - good news. You can buy all wines that you liked in our store in the Carpet Room. From December 2018 you can taste the wine that was made in my marani (place of wine production) in the heart of the Kakheti region of Georgia. In November 2020, our wine was awarded a bronze medal at the 18th ENOEXPO International Wine Fair in Krakow!

Hi, I came with my mom in November 2019 for dinner. Everything was tasty, fast served but as for a regular restaurant with no white covers, it is a bit overpriced to be charged so much for a few dumplings. However, the portions are big. What deserves attention is a great waiter-Adam. Very pleasant, talkative, and caring. He had on his shirt written " I am learning" but I believe he has behaved excellent and other waiters should learn from him. I was so positive surprised by such a great service that leaving I promised him to leave this review, time passed, I forgot. But today is the review day :D All the best ! Angelina

Yesterday evening it was not the first time I came to Rusiko. I always appreciate this restaurant because of the great quality. What I love the most is that the taste of all meals is so different. The dishes are seasoned in the amazing way and they surprise me with it, as I have never been in Georgia.
Yesterday as the starter we had the eggplant (aubergine if British could not recognize this name ;) with walnut paste, also spinach with walnut paste and pomegranate. For the main dish we ordered vegetables stewed in Georgian herbs, topped with sheep’s cheese (adzjabsali) and fried oyster mushrooms with tarragon and bulgur groats. We also decided to order the grilled lamb (one for two), which was the tastiest I've ever had!
We started with dry sparkling rose wine. Later we took Mukuzani dry wine, which I think will be on the top of my list, ever higher than Primitivo ;-)
What I need to add, Rusiko is the great place for the charming date. I really find this place to be romantic. I booked the private dining room, which was decorated with small candles, so I gained some extra points ;-)
We promised ourselves that we would return to Rusiko again!

I don't know exactly why, but I absolutely love Georgian food. Sadly, there are not enough of these restaurants worldwide, especially in big city America to include Washington, DC. However, I found a gem in Warsaw and this is one of the best Georgian places I have ever dined. In fact, the restaurant also serves as a wine and carpet shop with its eclectic owner welcoming one and all. However, it is the food that makes this place so special. I started out with a free appetizer of a sweet carrot salad. Since I was with friends, we also ordered a couple of appetizers of Georgian flatbread with goat cheese inside and a unique platter of a variety of appetizers from eggplant to spinach to beet to two others and ending up with a red pepper. We also ordered a large cucumber and tomato salad. One friend and I ordered the lamb chops with beets in a beet gravy. Yeah...I found it an interesting mix, but it was so delicious and the chops were perfectly cooked. My other friend ordered the roasted chicken. We rounded out the meal with more Georgian bread and a wonderful bottle of red wine from their cellar. All in all a perfect way to break bread and celebrate life in a new city. The entire feast came out to only $45.00 per person. On top of the great food, we sat outside on a lovely evening and dined to great service by the wait staff. It is in walking distance to several embassies to include the USA. Don't miss this place while visiting Warsaw!

Georgian food may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you are in Warsaw, but if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere and great food at reasonable prices, look no further than Rusiko. My family is originally from Poland and over the past few years this place has become an obligatory stop whenever we visit. I'm glad to see that the quality of the dishes and the service remains excellent and they are opening a second location in July. Don't miss it.

Small Portions - Amazing Quality: that’s a realistic summary!
We had Kinkali, Chatchapuri, Lamb Cutlets, Ribs and an amazing Startes Platter. Everything was absolutely amazing, great quality, good service, nice atmosphere.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the portions are quite small and the prices quite steep in comparison to other Georgian restaurants within Poland.

I will not return. My waiter was David who spoke excellent English so I cannot blame any of the problems on miscommunication. You know that kind of smarmy, over solicitous , I’m going to rip you off, because of your accent type of service. That’s what I got! I was pushed hard to try a one that was fine but not very special the pour was incredibly light and I suspect it was to try to keep me ordering more and more. I’m at a hotel bar where they actually measure the 125 g and it’s almost twice what I was poured. Flasks of table water were routinely and quite easily brought to other tables. Sitting at the bar I had to ask David for water five times twice he tried to upsell me on bottled water which I did not want, and finally I was given a tiny little glass not the flask the other tables were provided with. And speaking of sitting at the bar, they were empty tables the entire time I was there even though I was told there was no room for me. The food could’ve gotten 3 to 4 stars, but the “I’m gonna rip you off“ service brings the total way down.

Imagine yourself in Georgia, right in the heart of Warsaw. It was the first time for us having Georgian food, and it was an unforgettable introduction. A kind waiter guided us through the menu and came up with excellent suggestions. The mains are quite small but a tip is to take the Georgian pie with cheese as a starter, you’ll be full, very full… ;)
Food, service and ambiance are great. We would recommend and for sure come back when visiting Warsaw again someday.

Wow, I was blown away by this fantastic spot that I stumbled upon around the corner from my hotel. Georgian food is one of my favourite cuisines and Rusiko has amazing Georgian flavours on offer. The food is authentic, the servers are knowledgeable, and they are overall professional in delivering an authentic Georgian experience. I will certainly be returning each time I am in Warsaw.

We had a incredible dining experience at the ‘Rusiko’ restaurant and could highly recommend this place. Having tasted Georgian cuisine in different parts of the world and being a big fan of this culture, I have decided to taste it in Warsaw. Very authentic interiors, welcoming and knowledgable staff being able to tell you more about the wine production and suggest options in the menu according to your food preferences and definitely an absolutely finger-licking meals.
Khachapuri with cheese were served straight from the oven, aubergine rolls with walnut, herb and pomegranate stuffing were simply irresistible and ‘chicken tabaka’ as a main dish made us feel in a food heaven. Traditional Khinkali with meat (Georgian dumplings) are also a must to taste. Bare in mind, they have to be tasted as soon as they are served:) I wish we could have tasted more but there was a limit.. to the space in our stomachs!
Moreover, the owner of the place David, a person inspired and dedicated to his business, produces his own wines in Georgia which are being shipped to Warsaw and can be tasted in the restaurant.
Incredible gastronomic experience. Thank you Warsaw, Olga and David!

As a Georgian living in Warsaw, I was surprised to find such an authentic Georgian restaurant anywhere outside of Georgia. Not only is the cuisine exceptional and true to the Georgian heritage, but also the service is extremely professional and kind. I highly recommend this place for those looking to experience the best flavours Georgia has to offer.

In the heart of Warsaw, you can find the most delicious flavours and tastes in the world - Georgian cousin - Restaurant Rusiko.
If you ever visited this beautiful country on earth, you would have never forgotten the real memories and tastes of Georgia.
For me Restaurant Rusiko is the place where hospitable Georgians meet their guests with a smile on their face, delicious food, traditional dishes with Georgian wines decorating such a wonderful and cozy place. ❤️❤️❤️

I would highly recommend this Georgian restaurant! The prices are fairly expensive for Polish measures, though all-in-all they’re worth it. The pkhali, khinkali, salad and cheese dumplings were very tasty. The ice cream was a very pleasant desert. The staff was friendly. If you’d like to sit outside, it’s better to arrive early or make a reservation. Highly recommended.

Divine starters - as you have to economize with your intake of food, go for as many starters as you can mobilize courage to ask for. This is seriously delicious food. And go for the Satrapezo saperavi 2016 wine - that is a wine of superior format and a taste voluminosity that allows you to enjoy hanging around enjoying the food and the ambience of the place.

We came here for a dinner and it was a disaster for me. The waiter was not speaking Polish so it was hard to communicate. The food doesn't cost that amount of money. Khachapuri was tasted like a pizza and after trying 1 piece there was no willing to continue. Khinkali were without a classic brine inside and tasted almost the same as you buy it the shop with frozen foods.
They've brought us a flask if water and after charged 20 PLN (it's more expensive than at the airports). And it's not about the price but about general feeling. They don't mention that the water is not for free and charge after in a bill.

Szanowni Panstwo, dziękujemy za wizytę. Uprzejmie informuje, że w zespole kelnerskim nie ma osoby, która nie posługuje się językiem polskim. Oprócz tego każdy kelner/ka mówią w języku angielskim. W karcie podane wszystkie ceny i każde danie/ napoje są dokładnie opisane w kilku językach. Na przyszłość, może warto się zapoznać z cenami przed pójściem do restauracji i wtedy nie będzie rozczarowań:)

Some of the best food we’ve ever had in Warsaw! Highly recommend the homemade wine, bread with egg in it, beef and especially the chocolate and cherry dessert (dessert of the day). Our waiter, Nika, was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, we definitely want to go back!
