Having travelled to Warsaw many many times over the years PAPU and its sister restaurants are always a go to venue. The food and wine are always very good. A short taxi from Centrum but worth it!!

Excellent food with very generous portions, beautiful decor and great atmosphere. Marcin was also the perfect host. Highly recommend.

Birthday dinner with wife, meal was delicious, both starters and main course. Service by Marcin was also top quality.

We went there with two people for dinner. We followed the recommendations of our waiter Martin who was very kind and pleasantly funny. We ordered both the beef tartar before and after that a main dish each, the sturgeon fillet and the beef rib. Lets...start with the tartar. On unique looking plates we received the beef tartar with the eggyolk seperated as it should be and got from our lovely waiter Martin some freshly grinded pepper on top. The toppings and the meat itself were from very good quality and made it to a perfect starter. The main dishes: First to start with the portion sizes, they were both decent enough portions, that you did not need the tartar, but you would not want to miss that. The sturgeon had a very unique and intense flavour which worked perfectly with the other aromas, especially with the wonderful looking red risotto. The beef rib was perfectly tender and the potatoes and vegetables seasoned very well. The vegetables were soft but not overcooked and the potatoes were cooked on point. The main star nevertheless was the beef rib which was super tender and aromatic. The dark sauce served with it worked perfectly fine and completed the flavour of the meat. I have to say we skipped the dessert because we both were pleasantly full. I would definetly recommend to give the PAPU a try.More

The staff and enviroment in the restaurant was nice. The Food was beautiful on the plate but the portions was too big too handle. The taste and quality of the Food was ok, nothing special. Overall 3/5 rate.

Mr Marcin is a real asset of the restaurant. Open, helpful and professional. You won't be willing to leave the place. I will return there for sure.

A beautiful and cosy restaurant serving some of the popular polish dishes like Schabowy, Pierogi and blood sausage. The food presentation was very good and it is as delicious as it looked. Service was very warm and friendly. We asked for some special vodka from...Poland and they do have a good list of vodka and also wines from their own country. The price was very reasonable. Overall a very good place for dinner!More

This was actually my third or fourth time in PAPU and each time was fantastic. I had a business dinner there, couple visits and a family dinner. Two times my table was served by the same waiter (not sure if I remembered the name correctly...- Marcin). He has a stunning wine knowledge and can perfectly advise on the dishes. He made the restaurant experience complete and very enjoyable. Food is very good, great quality. Quite expensive wine, but you won't regret it. Will definitely come back again :)More

Papu offers a wonderful experience of superior quality Polish food served in one of the most charming rooms in Warsaw. The food is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. While the meal is of high quality, the restaurant is very warm and not at...all stuffy. Most memorable are the surroundings, the splendid wood carved walls with flowers festooned around the room and wine bottles decorating the space. A most enjoyble way to spend an evening.More

We went to Papu cause one of my friend was visiting me. She is Estonian and wanted to eat zurek which I haven’t tasted before. So after being sure papu has it on their menu we reserved a table. I loved the atmosphere of the...place, it is so cozy with a fireplace and wooden walls. I had zurek and a duck with a Chile red wine with a suggestion of our waiter. Soo delicious. I would definitely go there again.More
