Very yummie and kid-friendly

Looked at an apartment nearby and decided to give it a try. Great cocktails, pizza and salads. Our waitress Paulina was really patient with our kids extra wishes and they got a lollypop as dessert. Great!!!

No matter how big is your order and how old are the guests. In Informal Kitchen you are treated well and with the best care. We came with my friend to have a coffee spontanously after visit in Zachęta Art Gallery. I was having my twin-boys with me who supposed to eat their lunch more than 1 hour before so they became a bit fussy, I became a bit stressed. All waiters and waitresses were very helpful and understanding, waiter named Wiktor took special care of us. Thank you! We will come back! ;)

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, excellent service

The past two times I have been to Informal Kitchen, I have had Gracjan as a server. Each time he has offered stellar recommendations on wine and food, and been the right amount of attentive. Each food item I have had at Informal Kitchen has been delicious - the beef cheek, the chicken, and the curry. With the delicious and affordable food, excellent service, and pleasant atmosphere, I will be back again and continue recommending the restaurant to others.

Farm to table in Warsaw?

Informal Kitchen offers a farmhouse ambience in an open dining room that allows for parties of all sizes. It was quite busy on a Thursday evening. I was lucky to get a table (around 7pm) without reservations. However, I will be making reservations in the future and recommend you do the same. What did I enjoy? I had heard rave reviews about the beef cheeks with root vegetables and horseradish purée, so, naturally, that is what I ordered. I also got the sweet potato fries with avocado mousse. The fries are a healthy portion - can be shared by 2-3 people. I could have eaten it all if I did not need to save room for the main dish. I loved the seasoned crunchy exterior, which still left the inside soft. The avocado mousse was a perfect pairing - light and delicious. I will try the jalapeño pepper sauce next time. The beef cheeks are too good. The meat is so tender that you really do not need to use a knife. The purée and root vegetables provide a nice balance (a hint of bitter) that lifts and contrasts any heaviness from the protein. How is the service? Dawid was friendly and professional. He had a large table to tend to as well, but you would not known because he did not miss a beat with my service. Excellent!

Lives up to its reputation online

Just a short steps from Sofitel Victoria. They are great cooks and so accommodating, explaining their food and offering suggestions. Wonderful atmosphere. Very Elegant casual. Rafal was a wonderful host and made it a joy to eat there. I would try anything they cook. I had chicken and eggplant, a feast for the eyes as well the tastebuds. Just food extremely well done. Hope to get one more meal in at Informal Kitchen before we leave Warsaw.

Informal Kitchen Review

The food here was wonderful! I ordered the confit duck leg, and it was a wonderful combination of tangy, sweet and savory. The menu is fairly diverse, the atmosphere is dressed-up casual, and the service is great. Our server, Dominik, was very friendly, always keeping an eye on our table, offering recommendations, and making conversation. He truly made our experience very enjoyable and personalized our dining!

Very friendly personnel and delicious cuisine!

We have a perfect dinner for eight people. Specials of the day have been recommended by the accommodating waiter Wiktor. Wine assortment was great for every type of the dish. I would like to mention seafood variety at that day. Also barbecued ribs have been perfectly served. It is a very cozy place for romantic evenings or meetings with friends.

An Unforgettable Culinary Adventure

I had a great time !The atmosphere was inviting, the staff were welcoming, and the menu offered diverse options. All the dishes had perfectly balanced flavors and impeccable presentation. Dawid one of the staff took care of my table very well, Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming environment.

This is an excellent restaurant. Wide variety of modern foods on the menu, which changes relatively often. Veggie night on a Friday and daily specials. A regular haunt of mine. Love this restaurant.

Excellent Meal, fabulous service!

We stubbles upon this restaurant as it was situated close to our hotel. What an amazing find! The meal was exceptional (especially the goose liver bruschetta starter, one of the best starters I’ve ever had & steak tartare)! Our waiter Gracjan was extremely professional, attentive and made us feel very welcome. I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Warsaw.

This is how you should treat customers!

You don't visit this restaurant, you experience it! From the moment you enter until the door closes behind you, it is one big positive experience. David, the manager makes you feel right at home and pampers you with humour, knowledge and impeccable service. Absolutely great! We were a group of 5 people and we all agree that the taste of the different dishes can hardly be matched. The taste was fantastic. If I have to mention 1 point of criticism, it is that the dessert was too big, but also so good in taste that I ate it anyway. Definitely a restaurant that should be on your to-do list...

Nice food, nice service!

I was helped by Dominik. He was very friendly and the service was quick. The food was also very good and diverse! There is a lot to choose, so there must be something to eat for everyone. Afterwards Dominik gave me a taste of an alcholic beverage based on eggs. It was a sweet finish of my diner!

Great place! I am especially grateful to Gracjan, who recommended an excellent wine and served the table completely. I ordered pasta in a wine butter sauce and mushrooms, the kitchen was flexible and prepared a version without meat (basic in the menu). EXCELLENT! I would recommend the team of this great restaurant to have more vegetarian options. Apart from that - everything is great

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious and expertly prepared, with every dish bursting with flavor. And the service was outstanding, with Rafał providing us with personalized recommendations and ensuring that our experience was nothing short of perfect.

One of the best in Warsaw

We walked in after a nearby restaurant we had reservations at wasn't a good fit for us with our younger children. Upon walking in, we could see that they were set up for a very large group but sat us anyway at a lovely table. Mateusz greeted us and was great with his drink recommendations and then came back with wonderful coloring papers and pencils for our kids (those with kids know how key the option is). The menu is one of those that makes you take a very long time to decided because every dish sounds delicious. We started with a cheese board which was perfect. Great size for four people and then some. For my main, I ordered the beef cheeks per Mateuszs' recommendation, my son had the salmon, daughter the sea bass, and my husband another beef dish. All were outstanding, perfectly cooked, seasoned, and accompanied by very tasty vegetables. I think we ordered every dessert on the menu. My children commented on another dessert they saw that was for the large group. Mateusz was kind enough to serve a portion of that. The service we received was above and beyond. Never pushy, always with a kind smile, very knowledgeable, and patient with us as first time customers. We loved it so much we came back a second time within a week (I still had a hard time choosing which entree to order). I highly recommend a visit to Informal Kitchen in Warsaw. Ask for Mateusz. You will not be disappointed.
