After a quite disappointing experience at El Popo, this time the owners Kręgliccy surprised me with a splendid lunch at their Italian restaurant called Chianti. Let me put this straight – everything was impeccable, the service, the food, and the vibe. Duck meat in the...salad was tender, soft, perfectly cooked accompanied by crunchy and fresh veggies. It was a decent portion you could easily eat as a main course. Homemade pasta was another great choice, cooked al dente, served on a hot plate with a delicious and creamy sauce with the addition of truffles and freshly grated Parmesan. Simply, Italian cuisine at its best. The dessert, sponge cake soaked in Limoncello, served with fresh fig was delicious as well. Maybe the cake was a bit too hard but it was a minor flaw. I will come back here for sure. Authentic Italian cuisine is still rare in Poland. It is not a cheap place, but worth the money!More
