Situated in one of the Old town squares, the milieu is very picturesque, indeed. Sadly the place is a bit of a rip-off! The quality of the food itself was ok but you end up paying much more than anticipated. The VAT is not included(as is the case in many of the restaurants-which is ok, but you need to bare... More

We enjoyed our visit. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere good. It's very small and cosy with a good menu and some nice wines. Price wise it's quite expensive but it is situated on the main square so that is to be expected. The food was ok although we did go on to have better meals in Poland.... More

we were told to sit down and yes there is breakfast. no Menu! should have been the first clue. had eggs mixed with cheese. and coffee. It cost 110 zl for two of us. ( More expensive than dinners with wine at the other cafes. ) and it wasn't very good either.

I ate pork knuckle as our waiter recommended it. Dish looked unappealing and there was no taste. Price was also rather high.

Waiter eagerly praised their special selection of polish dishes. I chose beef tenderloin and it was really bland, small and even visual outlook of portion was unappealing. My friends also had similar experiences with their dishes. Food was also very expensive compared to other local restaurants with much better quality. Overall this was the worst dish I had during my... More

The food was of poor quality, scarce in quantity and overpriced. The menu states that service is included and a 10% service charge was on the bill so when I paid the exact amount the waiter asked for his tip. First, the service was bad and I had to beg for a second beer so when I said "isn't the... More

We were approached by a French speaking person, properly dressed, who made us choose this little restaurant in the center of Warsaw Old Town. Prices were extremely high - 50 - 100 % higher than in other restaurants in the area. With the recommended "extras" (which are sometimes included with the special polish dish we had ordered) we had to... More

During WWII the German and later the Russians carefully destroyed Warsaw's old town and big parts of the center of Warsaw. The old town square 'Stary Rynek' was rebuilt by Polish people from all around the country in the '50s. You won't believe your eyes.

Beautifully located at the market place of the old town, this seven-tabled restaurant offers what appears to this foreigner as traditional polish cuisine. Prices are average, the portions medium, the service friendly and the music horrific, killing what could have been a very relaxing, homely atmosphere. The lamb was quite good but could've been more tender. But can we recommend... More

a great location in the Old Town's square, very nice service and a delightful selection of food. The owner is available for a chat and offering specials off the menu. it's a fantastic place for a break.
