About
SENSES restaurant is the Polish culinary window to the world with Andrea Camastra as a host. The place, despite its high-tec equipment and own food sensory lab, is all about natural, real and complete tasting experience. Flavours come from the best natural products that are found and approved by Andrea himself. Most Polish products come from the farm in Kolbuszowa. The rest - come from all over the world – Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Japan. Andrea Camastra puts emphasis on light and healthy dishes. It is also the core principle of „note-by-note” cuisine, that the Senses restaurant is entirely devoted to.

The dinner in Senses was very good but unfortunately it did not met my expectations. Dishes were fun and creative but somehow none of them stick in my memory. The service was excellent though, proffessional yet friendly, which is still a challenge for waiters in fine-dining places in Poland.

Impressive entrance to this Michelin starred restaurant where guests enter along a pathway lit by flaming pots. Nicely appointed with the dining area upstairs. Plenty of space between the tables for privacy, and tastefully decorated with original artwork on the walls and comfortable chairs. The service was impeccable, the staff very accommodating, and the food was absolutely top notch. The only thing I would suggest to diners is that they not fill up on the delicious breads that come in between courses. While they are imaginative and delicious, you don't want to miss out on enjoying the sensational flavors of the main dishes on the set menu, nor the two course dessert menu that follows. Very good overall experience for us.

Had the short tasting menu for dinner and oh my, that was A LOT! It started off amazingly well, with the most awesome breads I have ever tasted, and a real highlight was the Polish bread (so soft and fluffy) with the duck pate with foie gras - stunning! There were a lot of interesting flavour combinations all artfully presented. Just when we thought we had struck real gold, we were unfortunately let down a bit by the proteins. The fish soup was a little too creamy and a tad sour - they used red fish whereas I would have preferred a clear broth with white fish. The chicken liver was interesting although not to the same heights as the courses before. The quail was fine although probably lacking the same creativitty as the earlier courses. Things picked up again with the non-protein dishes. Beware that they serve A LOT of desserts, 2 ample courses and we struggled to finish them. Overall, it was a great experience but if the proteins had been better, it would have been perfect and deserving of a 5 star review. Service was great throughout although the conversations with the waiters were somewhat mechanical - felt like the questions were rehearsed.

All the courses were delicious and explained thoroughly by the servers. The wine pairings were really done well. After the meal I had an interesting chat with the chef who explained his passion for cooking and the time he takes planning and testing the menu His wife manages the dining room and she adds a very nice friendly face to the meal I highly recommend this place!

Fabulous restaurant, super accommodating! They had a flower arrangement in my wife's favorite color (yellow). More importantly I had notified them in advance that might wife was bitten by a lone star tick, and as a result has Alpha Gal, which creates an allergy to anything with hooves. She is good with anything with feathers, fins, or seafood. They prepared 3 different menus for both of us, and we had the Grande with wine pairing. The sommelier was very helpful explaining each wine choice. A very memorable birthday for my wife. Every course was imaginative.

This is the best meal I have ever had and we have eaten in Michelin restaurants before . We had the piccolo tasting menu and we must have had 20+ different dishes . All absolutely fantastic-fun , tasty, surprising , beautiful to look at etc . You will not be disappointed . Plenty of food and you will not be hungry . We had the paired wine which was 4 different wines all explained as we have an interest in wine -again excellent-but the meal would be fine without wine as there are lots of little drinks included ! The service was impeccable . The menu for about £60 each was fantastic value and I would highly recommend . It’s worth flying to Warsaw for the weekend just for dinner !!

Once before, I dined at a restaurant with a chef who was a proponent of molecular gastronomy and the food was pretentious and awful. But this place was just wonderful. We had the petite version of the meal, and even so it lasted for over two hours. Every tiny morsel was surprising and delicious. I was reminded of fireworks, where first there's a colorful display, and inside that burst of color, there's a second burst, different side and shape. Every bite was superb. Sometimes, we laughed, it was so surprising and good. The service was wonderful, too.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a michelin-star restaurant during our warszaw. This exceeded our expectations by far. The restaurant is very classy and elegant. We had the «medio» menu(12 seperate courses) with wine pairing. It was an amazing experience from start to end. There was alot of exciting tastes and flavour combinations with perfect wine. It was perfect sized portions and perfect amount of time between the dishes. This restaurant really deserves its star. The service was impeccable, and we want to give a special thanks to the sommelier Damian for the service!

10 of us had a four hour meal at Senses. I was actually dreading a long drawn out dinner but we had such a great time. I think it had a lot to do with our group, but if you have fun and enjoy all of the courses it’s really a great time. We had the piccolo menu which for me was more than sufficient for dinner. It’s expensive by Warsaw standards, but if you had this meal in the United States it would be three times the price. I agree with the previous reviewer that the interior is a little dated, but it is Warsaw, not New York. This is not a restaurant for picky eaters, but if you are up for trying new things and having a new experience, Senses is great. By the way, one of our party is gluten-free, and I don’t recommend that menu. If you have dietary restrictions move along. You will not have the same experience, and it is not worth coming.

I have a feeling of inconsistency. The entry hall and bar, all in black and amber, looks great, the hostess service was impeccable, but then you go up and find yourself in a 'holiday inn of 1999' styled breakfast room, so much different from the down stairs. It also looked a little worn out to be honest. The service : you don't get a dedicated waiter, but a parade of staff, different person bringing each of the dishes and wines. I do not like that at all. The food was what to be expected, fancy molecular show of tastes, wines were great, but the service was really affecting it for me - one waiter served wrong beverages, one forgot to bring the wine, sometimes it was a chatty lady, sometimes a silent man. We had to wait a long time before the 'moments', too. Luckily my companion was the absolute best <3 All in all, not the level of experience a Michelin Star place should deliver.

Senses is an amazing restaurant. Diners are in for some surprises, and the dishes really do play to all the senses. Several dishes are truly extraordinary. This restaurant is a great opportunity to sample Michelin-star dining at a relatively low price point.

Well prepared quality food. But the atmosphere and quality off service were below zero. Over prized wine in tiny quantity made us feel dursty on the way out. Long waiting times between courses made it a long non comforable evening. Although price of the menu was worth a 2 star evening in Belgium
