Great food, great ambience, and great service. I had the zubek rye soup and the mix of pierogies and everything was very good.

We sought this restaurant out after much searching through tripadvisor about local places to eat from where we were staying. In all honesty… on arrival on a Monday to an empty restaurant we nearly turned heel and left but as the waiter had spoken to...us it would’ve felt so rude so we settled in. When ordering food I queried an adjustment to the dish advertised - I can’t stand mushrooms and the waiter suggested they swap them for a side salad instead. I had the ribs, my husband had the beef cheeks and both were utterly amazing! My ribs just fell off the bone and the side salad was so delicious I ate my salad and my salad dodging husbands too. The service was very attentive but the food took a decent amount of time to arrive reassuring us it hadn’t been just blasted in a microwave. We finished off with a couple of vodka shots to finish a genuinely lovely evening with fantastic foodMore
I came with very hungry daughter and we haven’t waited for long to eat. Restaurant wasn’t busy like others at this time and food as good as everywhere else.
Stumbled for this place at random, as we were looking for a place to get supper. We were all rather annoyed at that point, and the day wasn't the best, but I'll try to stay as objective as possible. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine and...when you first walk in, the decor gives off a vert good impression (especially if you're into polish culture or are a foreign). We sat down and tried to pick something out. The waiters were very kind and just lovely, which brought our mood up :) There didn't seem to be much options for a late night snack, but my mom got a cheeseboard, which left her rather satisfied. After all, I'd say the go-out was rather successful, and if you're looking for traditional cuisine, this is the place to go. I might alter the rating if I ever go for diner, so I can get a better insight on the food there :DMore
This was an amazing find in old town. Traditional food and great location. I recommend you ask what is fresh and go with it. The after dinner sherry was very old scho
We were trying to make our first year's dinner but everywhere so so crowded and also pretty expensive.. This one cozy and hot restaurant provided us the best solution . Perfect traditional dishes in nornal prices. Try it...
I stumbled across this place while taking a detour from the Christmas markets. The inside decor is beautiful, the service was slightly slow but it was NYE so i was happy to even get a table! Plus, the waiters/ waitresses were lovely. I had the...meat dumplings in a cream and mushroom sauce and the deer ragout served in a bread roll. Portions were large for what you pay and the food was very tasty. Great traditional polish food which is exactly what I came for. I would definitely come back if I return to Warsaw :)More
Tasty place. Really good salad with slices of duck. I recommend this place for meetings with friends and family :)
We popped in here this afternoon having been charmed by the lovely little man outside with the white hat and large wooden spoon. Give it a go you won't be disappointed. I had beetroot soup with dumplings and beef cheeks with potatoes and a red...cabbage for main. My good lady had forest mushrooms in cream and potato pancakes with lamb shank for main. Both were plentiful, very tasty and filled us very well. A bottle of prosecco to accompany it went down a little too fast. Will go again if were ever in these parts. Thank youMore
We went for dinner in this restaurant located in the old town. The place is nice (cosy), with a friendly atmosphere. We ordered local dishes (pierogis, lamb shops). A special thank to Karol, who gave us good advices for our choice. During all the dinner,...he has been a really good guy... we will be back in this restaurantMore
We didn't want to sit al fresco in old town Warsaw among other tourists staring at one another, and managed to find a quiet cafe for a light lunch. Only ordered a couple of juices, and a mixed pierogi plate and a sour rye soup...served in a bread bowl. Both were very good: the piergi with different fillings were delicate and delicious, so was the flavourful soup. Very relaxed atmosphere, efficient service. Light lunch for two came to about 60 zł.More
I visited it with my wife. We took a soup , pate , duck in berries. Pate was really great, duck little bit dried too much. Overpriced may be from location reasons. Center of old town.
We were lured in by the elderly man with a big wooden spoon overlooking his outdoor tables. Kmicic is just around the corner of the big and touristic square of the Old Town. It got the best reviews and we were not disappointed. The meals...not very original but definitely tasty and priced reasonably.More
Here as part of a food tour and two signature dishes presented, pierogi and pork knuckle. Both good quality delivered on taste and presentation. Not sure we got the full service as everything was pre-ordered but can't fault taste. Dined al fresco which was nice...to be able to do.More
I had such an amazing meal here and the staff was wonderful. It’s in a great location in Old Town and very reasonable prices for such delicious food. Highly highly recommended.
