Upon entering, the waitress went straight out to play with 2 small dogs as she said she is obsessed with them. Irrelevant whether she is addicted to dogs or not, during service it is mandatory to give full attention to the client especially in the...first few moments. I could have easily left out but decided to experience this restaurant, afterall saw some pretty good reviews. The waitress actually apologised for that action when taking the order which for me was irrelevant.
Aperol Spritz (9/10)
Half Duck - Main Course (6/10) presented nicely, worth the price but nothing out of this world.
Dessert - Apple Pie (8/10)
The client also noted that the waitress had no idea of what drink should be paired with the main course and also heard the waitress asking the table next to them whether they would like to have dessert while one of them was still eating which in the world of hospitality is a nono! On a positive note, the waitress was very friendly, smiling and neatly dressed up.
To conclude, the mandatory 10% service charge which I have anything against in principle, should be rethought for this restaurant. Solution: Train your staff constantly. It would have been better in my opinion paying 15% more on dishes than seeing a 10% service charge for the above experience.More
We were here with my partner for lunch on my first visit to Warsaw, and for our first anniversary. The restaurant has an incredibly fairy-tale atmosphere, service at the highest level and food ... like a dream! I ordered a Polish classic - dumplings, and...my partner ordered beef tartare. We were delighted with the quality of the workmanship. Bravo! We will come back at every opportunity. Wonderful place!More
