Delicious Food, great climate, perfect service and awesome grapefruit limoncello makes this place a spot that I can recommend without a doubt :)
Excellent food and service. Good selection of fresh fish * had nicely done tuna * and sea food. Place very nice adoptep with industrial feel.
This accidental and unexpected visit and yet worth every penny. This place is excellent with fabulous contemporary kitchen. The service was also very helpful and super nice! This place is an old boiler room (as the name in Polish suggests) with cool rustic outfit inside...- eye pleasing.More
It was pleasure to return here, with the simple yet tasty menu and very helpful crew. If there is good weather, You can sit outside near silent street and enjoy the meal, wine & time... A good one!
I've eaten here half a dozen times and it's always been excellent: the dishes are so good that I ordered the same dish (the squid) four times, and my friends have the same problem with the duck. Kotłownia is twinned with the restaurant next door,...Via Suzina; they share a kitchen. Via Suzina is aimed a little more at fine dining, and as a consequence *both* restaurants have an excellent wine list. The sommelier is next door in Via Suzina, but if you don't need him, Kotłownia offers a relaxed, informal atmosphere that I like very much. The prices are not cheap by local standards, but for me, visiting from England, it offers excellent value for money. The staff speak good English and English language menus are available.More
We went here for a dinner on Sunday evening. The place was quite busy but we were able to get a table without reservation. The food was delicious - we had pasta and some apple pie for desert.
Absolutely must on culinary map of Warsaw. Short menu with seasonal offer. Sevice on very good level knowing what they have in menu and what wine could be a great company to it.
Well known and highly recognized restaurant among "locals" and "foreigners". Fresh well prepared and tasty food. It's very unusual to get table with no early reservation. Good house wine and some really very good wines directly imported from Tuscany. If this is your lucky day...ask Chief for Soufflé.More
A casual place to go with friends. Waiters joke and chat informally. Short menu with promising dishes. Duck pasta a bit too overloaded with sauce and missing the truffles scent mentioned in its description. Lemonade as requested - trully bitter. Tiramisu for a satisfying finish....The wine list not as impressive as in Kieliszki. Some seats outside. Overall a friendly space for laughs and relaxation.More
I had pasta- tagliatelle with duck, sun dried tomatoes and truffle oil. It was really great, just perhaps tiny bit too greasy for me. My friend had duck on cranberry sauce with little funny pasta bags filled in with cheese. I liked the duck, but...did not care for the rest of the dish. They have great prawns and nice selection of wine. The portions are not too big but beautifully served. My pasta was 36 pln and my friend's duck I think 49 pln.More
Good Italian and Mediterranean food. Served quickly, fresh and tasty. I had a tomato soup with mozarella which was a great warm up for a cold weather. As a main course it was a tasty salmon and home-made wine. Really cool place and a very...good service. Less than 5 minutes walk from Wilson square.More
Kotłownia has an artsy casual style and is based in a charming part of the Żoliborz area - Warsaw's posher leafy area. The interior ambiance is very friendly and casual - no table cloth or complicated glassware. The food is mostly a modern European cousine...- great seafood, including octopus carpaccio, giant prawns or mussels in wine sauce. Good pastas - The one with duck certainly worth trying. The choice of wine is excellent and especially a very decent collection of Polish wines from Chodorowa (worth a try), the service is professional and friendly and the manager/chef de salle can provide you with an excellent advice on the choice of menu and wine. All of this is reasonably priced. So overall, certainly worth a visitMore
The restaurant is a local gem, located in a small street not far from the Wilson Square metro station. It used to be a boiler-house for the neighborhood, hence the name. The interior is post-industrial, with nice decor and red brick walls. We went there...for a celebration dinner and had a great food experience! We had cheese & meat plate for starters and the size was proper for party of three, food was fresh and very tasty. For main dish each of us took a different one (chicken, duck, mules) and not only food looked great it also tasted fantastic. Chocolate soufflé with ice-cream for dessert was excellent. Plus, great Sicilian wine :-) The service is also very good, waitress was laughing at our jokes and manager made me an off-menu lemonade :-) We are going back there for sure!More
overlooked place in Warsaw. Really cool place where you can have good food for reasonable price. Try their king prawn as a starter
