Good Nero Caffe Good corner location on the main pedestrian area around the Warsaw old town. They have some good pastries and cakes. They have good number of clean toilets in their basement floor. Nice indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the busy pedestrian street.
Oh, what a nice place with wonderful sweets! Really delicious cakes. I went twice the same day, I could not resist. Apple pie with coffee, and then cheesecake... Wow... that was a pure pleasure. However, it is NOT cheap, but is worth the money spent......Highly recommended!More
This place was just up the road from our hotel and we had braekfast twice here and could not fault it. The food was cooked fresh and was well presented and tasty.
A little gem with a very rich history. In addition great coffee and even better pastries. If looking for a coffee while in the area I strongly recommend paying a visit.

This visit was a huge disappointment. The famous Telimena turned into a franchise with "trendy' mismatched furniture and take-away style food. (No complaints about the coffee or the food which was tasty and fresh - it is, after all, difficult to find bad food anywhere...in Poland). Given that it is located right on the Warsaw's "Royal Mile", I would have expected any refurbishment or new owners to reflect and respect the years of this place's tradition. Instead, just another Green Cafe Nero usurping the famous name. Popular with students, but has lost all its atmosphere. Won't be back... unless the owners engage a good interior designer and try again. (Despite the ever-present cigarette smoke, the place looked more stylish in the 1970's...)More
It's not often a franchise (Green Cafe Nero) keeps the name of the establishment previously on the same premises. Telimena was (and is) a landmark. I used to love the slightly run-down old Telimena and am delighted this corner cafe has kept charm in abundance....It also has enthusiastic, helpful staff, delicious cakes with a Polish flavour that put the drab pre-fab versions we get elsewhere in franchise Europe in the shade, comfortable seating in which to read a newspaper or watch the world go by on a lovely stretch of road leading to the old town. One of the most teditional cafe turned info Green Cafe Nero branch which I took as an advantage considering this franchise as currently the best Coffee bar chain in Warsaw. Excellent choice of coffeee, tea, fresh sandwiches and cakes as usual. Bookshelves and maple blocks...for kids. Free wifi via social networks. Good location with neighboring Old City. Main cons are multiplatform split of rooms and very poor ventilation ( no air condition ), both spoiling typical cozy atmosphere of Green Cafe Neros.More
We stopped there a few weeks ago due to my old student-time sentiments and cakes and cappuccino turned out to be excellent. Then I ordered a meringue and it was incredibly good. The rest of our group of four followed. On the next day, we...decided unanimously to alter our itinerary and go back to Telimena for meringue. Add a superb location and you have a no-miss spot while in Warsaw.More

My daughter and I had the lovely opportunity to visit this cafe and shop with a cousin of my brother in law. The family connection came in that the great (?) grandfathers of the two men were the same and worked at this location when...it was something else. The location is perfect being on the old square area, the tea lovely and decor inviting and peaceful. Do enjoy !!More
