Lovely restaurant - only had 24 hours in Warsaw on the way to somewhere else and we were so lucky to pick this restaurant for dinner. The herring dish I had was amazing and my veggie friend really enjoyed her options - also had a...great bottle of wine and I wish I could remember what it was called!! Staff were friendly and helpfulMore

My experience with the place was good. Old town but doesn’t feel like it. Didn’t have problems with stuff and the food was nice.

Service was good but good was average and a bit over priced. The beetroot tartare was not fully baked and the other food was ok at best. The service was really good though.

Drinks were great and so was the whole meal Beef tartare and herring were interestingly plated and put a modern and tasty twist on traditional polish foods. The duck pierogis sounded great but were sold out when we got there :( However the pork ribs...were amazing and the kopytka (potato noodles) were good and reminded me of my babcia’s (but obviously not as good as hers!). Definitely recommend going here if you are in old town area and looking for a great meal!More

The waithers were very polite and very nice! The food was absolutely amazing! If you want to try the polish Pierogi, this is the place! Also, great cocktails! We visited this place two times while in Warsaw, and each time the experience was amazing! The...food is fresh, so it might take some time to arrive even when is not crowded, but is totally worth it! The terrace is small, but great for couples! If you are looking for a place for a big group, you can stay inside, where the place is cozy and warm! Also, the restaurant is pet friendly. While we waited for our food, another couple sit on the terrace with their dog, and the waither brought a dog bowl of water when she came with the menu! Totally recommend!More

Great restaurant in old town, nice interior, friendly staff, good prices. We ordered meat and duck pierogi . Unfortunately they did not have baked duck and salads in that time, but it does not matter, because pierogi were delicious. I appreciate list of allergens in...menu very much (not common in PL).More

I chose this restaurant by chance. My traveling companion noticed that they offer pierogi here, and since we wanted to try them, we went here for lunch. We couldn't have made a better decision. The restaurant was very cozy and clean. The bathroom was perfectly...clean, you also found hygiene items there and as a top there was a picture of a ninja on the door, the humor of which is sure to be appreciated by everyone. The food was great - I had tomato soup and pierogi stuffed with potatoes and cheese. I can recommend both. The staff was very nice and friendly. When we asked where we could find the post office, the waitress didn't know, but she immediately opened a map on her cellphone, found it and explained to us where to go. Everything was absolutely perfect at this restaurant. I would be more than happy to come back here again.More

I have no negative thing to say. Every single thing was perfect. First of all i would love to say how beautiful this restaurant is and how clean it is! The bathroom is cozy, clean and also you can find there hygiene products for women...(and can we appreciate the cute little sign on the door of the bathroom?). For lunch i had a lemonade with metal straw(!!) and pierogi stuffed with sour cabage and mushrooms where i can not say nothing more than that it was exquisite. Nevertheless i must mention how friendly and kind the staff was. We asked them for a post office but they did not know the direction, however, she had took her phone and found it for us <3 it is the little details that make the whole portrait. I can not wait to be back in Warsaw and redo this whole experience.More

Great little restaurant, modern with a great traditional polish twist. The restaurant is very attractive with great décor and is spotlessly clean. Upon arrival we were greeted by 2 friendly waitresses who went out of their way to seat us. The munu is Polish cusine...with what I'd say a more modern day twist. I had the on the bone pork chop with onion mash and a delicious cucumber salad (the dressing was delicious) my partner had the Duck with beets and noodle potatoes. Both meals were fresh, good quality and very tasty. Afterwards we had another drink and then on to the perogi, we decided to try the seasonal dishe which were strawberry with cream, these were our favourite and cherry which was also very nice, again food was fresh, came out hot and tasted delicious. We couldn't fault anything with our experience the restaurant food and staff made for a very lovely evening. We would highly recommend this place.More

My husband and I stumbled across this little gem. We sat outside and were greeted by a very friendly waitress. The food was excellent, we chose the beetroot rosti and salty pancake for starters and a selection of dumplings for our main course. Well presented...and tasty. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.More

The extremely friendly waitress and charming atmosphere could not make up for the lackluster meals we had. We anticipated an outstanding meal and were so disappointed with the Zurek (how can you mess up Poland’s most traditional soup?) and a roasted beet salad (which did...not seem to be roasted at all.) Even the typical apple pastry desert was just okay. Fortunately, the prices were reasonable but we will not return.More

Dear Karmnik I wrote an excellent review for my first dinner we had with you. On sunday again we visited your restaurant a 2nd time. We were 4 person, each having a separate meal. 3 hours after the meal, I was the only person that had a steak tartar, I started to have bad stomach ache and cramps. I hadn't eaten that day anything else than a light breakfast. Thuesday morning after having increased diarrhea at 4 o'clock I had to go to the emergency at the airport and got intravenously 2 liters re-hydration. I don't know if the raw egg or the freshness of the meat was the reason. But I just wanted to inform you in order to avoid that other clients get sick. I do not want to change my review, I still think your restaurant is very nice. I can't see behind into the kitchen and verify the hygiene, I don't know who is supplying you with the meat., So I wanted to tell you that my 2nd visit in Karmnik was for me a bad and finally also an expensive experience. 2 days sick in the hotel, etc. Kind regards Thomas Flammer thomas.flammer@sunrise.ch
