Great food! we tried żurek, Schabowy, and Kurczak. (Rye soup, Pork Chop, and Rolled Chicken). The chicken, and the mash potatoes which accompanied the soup were outstanding. 100% recomended

There is a big song and dance made about the dumplings here, with the kitchen on show from the street and the guy outside proclaiming how great the dumplings are but the reality is far removed from this - my meat dumplings were incredibly dry...More

Stopped off in the shade of this restaurant’s alley in the Old Town, I must say it was quieter then most, but it was a little bit more off the beaten track. Ordered Dumplings with meat, they didn't look very appetising, but they tasted good,...More

It is a very small place with excellent cuisine, good service and an original graphic design. Home like cooking is well worth a wait. Prices are very reasonable.

Looking for a nice, quick place to have some late afternoon pierogies and as my usual stop-in place had closed down since my last visit to Warsaw a year ago, found this new place. Very nice ambiance and accommodating young staff, as well as excellent...More

As we were wondering through the old town we noticed a sign saying whiskey soup. This made us intrigued and then we were spoken to by a very happy and helpful man who showed us the menu. Once inside we were made very welcome. We...More

It's a modern, elegant shop with friendly and polite staff and very good background music. We tried the apple pie and had a cappuccino and an irish coffee. The apple pie was really really good. Would return there without a doubt.

Dear Karmnik I wrote an excellent review for my first dinner we had with you. On sunday again we visited your restaurant a 2nd time. We were 4 person, each having a separate meal. 3 hours after the meal, I was the only person that had a steak tartar, I started to have bad stomach ache and cramps. I hadn't eaten that day anything else than a light breakfast. Thuesday morning after having increased diarrhea at 4 o'clock I had to go to the emergency at the airport and got intravenously 2 liters re-hydration. I don't know if the raw egg or the freshness of the meat was the reason. But I just wanted to inform you in order to avoid that other clients get sick. I do not want to change my review, I still think your restaurant is very nice. I can't see behind into the kitchen and verify the hygiene, I don't know who is supplying you with the meat., So I wanted to tell you that my 2nd visit in Karmnik was for me a bad and finally also an expensive experience. 2 days sick in the hotel, etc. Kind regards Thomas Flammer thomas.flammer@sunrise.ch
