It was a very amazing restaurant! The food was really good. We had the traditional soup, which was the best we tasted in poland, salad, and chicken. Food was so good that we came twice during our stay in Poland. The service was very good...as well. I definitely recommend it!More

We had the window seats, ordered zurek and the duck,it was a dissapointment, the zurek soup was not tasty and the duck overdone. Waste of money, and in the end I found out the tip was already on the bill, 10 percent. No, I will...not go there any more, a restaurant should let you enjoy your time, not in this place, a big dissapointment. Waste of money and time.More

The service was ok, but they wouldn't let us dine outside for dinner. It was a bit cold, but we had been eating outdoors our entire trip. The starters were excellent (white sausage, zurek, and salmon tartare). My main dish (fried pork chop) was a...bit dry and under seasoned.More

Highly recommended for lunch. Lovely terrace in that iconic street. We both had a salad, the beetroot and chicken salad, delicious! Service was great and nice atmosphere inside as outside.

Nice restaurant in the old town of Warsaw. Waiters are very nice and professional. Pierogi was one of the best. A place to comeback

We have discovered in by chance while walking around in the evening. Very unique restaurant we would definitely recomnend. Cosy, ver stylish, both starters and main courses (we ate vegeterian) were extremely delicious. All waiters are very good English speaker.

Amazing cocktails and great pancakes! Stopped off here whilst wandering around and was met by lovely waitress who took our order and recommended me to have a red stripper which was delicious! We had a few cocktails and all were great! We also tried the...pancakes which were so yummy! My phone had run out of battery and the waitress kindly charged it for me whilst we were there! Very funky decoration and cool place to be! Thank you!More

We set out to initially go to ZAPIECEK restaurant but this traditional restaurant was nearby as that one was full, the moment we walked in we were sold cocktail drinks by the Ukrainian bar man with black hair who just wouldn’t listen to what we...wanted which was a simple vodka and Coke Zero. Also everything on the menu wasn’t satisfactory for him to accept as the spends were not high enough, we wanted a simple small traditional polish dish and he kept turning his nose at what we wanted from the menu. As this was quite late in the evening he was hanging around us a lot which was odd, he wanted to sell us more “expensive” drinks which we didn’t want. Now the best bit comes now, we were completely speechless, we came to asking for the bill, we had a few notes in which we needed change to leave a tip, well this Ukrainian waiter grabbed his girlfriend who was nearby as he was clearly finishing work and took all our change which was a lot of money, that’s theft, as he left he had a huge grin on his face, we just assumed his colleagues would come back with our change which they didn’t, When we asked for our change even his colleagues couldn’t believe that he had taken off with our money. Utter disgusting, the food was nice but he really took advantage of us ladies. I don’t like to complain but please be careful in this restaurant with this waiter as he stole from us, I should it escalated this further but it was so late I just wanted to get my change and leave and really god put off being here to be honest. Good location as literally a stones throw frown the old square but if you decide to try it please be careful here with this man. There is also just one toilet which was a ball ache as having to queue up. They could do with sorting the lighting as it very bright in there as there.More

Just stopped in for a beer and glass of sparkly. Had a lovely table on stools in middle of bar - so lucky as town was crowded (we could have ended up perched on the precarious looking window seats!!). Pleasant staff, nice bottle dark beer,...but just one toilet - that became a bit of a bottle neck at times.More

The restaurant is very friendly, with helpful service. Food options were good, and felt light but satisfying. We had a mixture of Polish traditional and other European foods which everyone enjoyed and shared a couple of desserts (which were pretty generous!). We all enjoyed a...cocktail and the wine choice for the meal was good. It gets fairly full even in late November so worth booking if you have a bigger group.More

Dear Karmnik I wrote an excellent review for my first dinner we had with you. On sunday again we visited your restaurant a 2nd time. We were 4 person, each having a separate meal. 3 hours after the meal, I was the only person that had a steak tartar, I started to have bad stomach ache and cramps. I hadn't eaten that day anything else than a light breakfast. Thuesday morning after having increased diarrhea at 4 o'clock I had to go to the emergency at the airport and got intravenously 2 liters re-hydration. I don't know if the raw egg or the freshness of the meat was the reason. But I just wanted to inform you in order to avoid that other clients get sick. I do not want to change my review, I still think your restaurant is very nice. I can't see behind into the kitchen and verify the hygiene, I don't know who is supplying you with the meat., So I wanted to tell you that my 2nd visit in Karmnik was for me a bad and finally also an expensive experience. 2 days sick in the hotel, etc. Kind regards Thomas Flammer thomas.flammer@sunrise.ch
