I had good chłodnik and burger there. Quite tasty and all would have been great and we would have tipped nicely if not for the last ten or fifteen minutes we spent waiting for the bill while our waitress was discussing private matters with other...guests (apparently also her friends) that were sitting just behind us. Other waitress was looking at us getting impatient but ignored and we ended up picking the bill up and going with it to the bar.More

Really great restaurant, small and cosy. The waitress was perfect. And food delicious. We got a burger, soup of the day and shrimp appetizer, all nice and fresh.

Very nice place to come over after a long working week. Tasty food at reasonable prices. When is cold outside, I recommend the home made drink "Warm me up".

This is definitely one of the most popular hangouts on Francuska street and it doesn't take long to understand why. It has a really nice decor, great beer garden and fantastic menu. I recently visited this place with my sister for a quick bite. I...ordered the hummus platter and she chose the New York burger. Additionally I decided to try the banana/mango/spinach smoothie. The order was promptly taken by a nice waiter and we didn't have to wait for our food. The hummus was served with some pitta bread, carrot sticks and peanuts. All accompanied the hummus very well. The only remark I would make is that there wasn't enough tahini to my taste and the hummus was very oily. Still, all tasted well. My sister's burger was presented very well and tasted great. Portion was definitely very generous too. The smoothie tasted great, and it was served chilled. Perfect on a hot summer day! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it at Prosta Historia and would definitely recommend this place.More

Tried this restaurant for lunch. They do have menus in English which is good. Prices are ok and service is good. However I was not too impressed with the burgers. A bit too dry for my liking. My son had a baby burger meal. He...found the cheese a bit too dry. He didn't like the bun the burger was served in (home made buns). My burger bun fell apart too easily and I found my burger was too dry as well. My wife's Wega Deska (vegetarian) and friend's Goat cheese salad was lovely though. I guess it depends on what you order or prefer.More

Quite a busy place, we were lucky that a table cleared when we walked in otherwise we wouldn't eat so i guess a reservation would be useful. Food was delicious and homemade lemonade too. would recommend.

The food is very delicious. The place is small but they have a lot of tables outside when you can enjoy sun and good weather. We ate duck's breast with asparagus- very, very good, for me the best duck I've ever eaten. My firend ate...grilled octopus- it's hard to find a good octopus in Warsaw, it was fresh, well grilled. The food is fresh and really worth the price. Portions are ideal- not too much, not too little. I really recommend the place for people who want to eat simple but good food.More

The food is very good, especially specialty of the day. You can get great lunch for fair price. The burgers are fine, the pasta is excellent!

Do not expect anything special, you will get proper burger but nothing special. It is tasty, but a little bit too expensive, just a little bit. Common bar for common moments.

I was very disappointed going there 2 last time. I use to be a loyal customer, but the quality and service are now below acceptable level: waitress doesn't even look at you when talking, drinks are sewer end warm an difficult to get some ice...and event worst... Their Bollywood burger became too sweet and fries are frozen! To be avoidedMore

Yesterday decided to go to Prosta Historia for a lunch as we were in Saska Kepa for some other stuff. My partner recently visited it with her enphew and she was pretty enthousiastic about the burgers. To start with the food, it was of a...pretty good quality, nothing super but simply good. Price wise I would say a bit over-priced for the quality but ok. The service, what shall I say? Let me first of all explain this is referring to the person that served us, the other staff member is a lot more client oriented. This one, had a feeling the head waitress or manager was basically rude, uninterested, a tone in her voice stating something like "why do you bother me", food and drinks were more or less "dropped" on the table. I fully understahnd people can have a bad day but than take a day off or leave the serving over to a colleague that feels better able to do so. The worst possible advertisement one can give to a restaurant however good the quality of the food may be is a, excuse me for the word, s....y service! I am sure that if we had been served by the other waitress this review had looked somewhat different. For this lady I would advise a proper training in hospitatlity or maybe better, find a job that better suits her. Will we go back? Maybe one day but based on this experience my feeling is we will pass this restaurant and look for one of the many other possibilities at Francuska street!!More

There are not many tables inside the restaurant but during warm season some places outside on the Francuska Street - in a heart of trendy Saska Kepa in Warsaw. Interesting variety of dishes in menu, some "day dishes" outside menu, kind service, simple interior but...with a charm, medium range prices, quite a lot of Guests - all of it was for me a good recommendation to try a foof there. Finally last week I tried one of burgers - called Bollywood Burger - and it was really very tasty!More

I had a burger for lunch and it was pretty average and based on commentaries by other TA contributors it sounded better than it was. Not good value and there are much better places to have lunch in Saska Kepa. I won't be back.

I'm a fan of a good burger having been to many places which specialize in gourmet burgers between from the UK to SA. So far, this trendy spot on a quiet street in Warsaw wins. Just lovely. I had a caramalised pear with gorgonzola beef...burger and wouldn't think twice about repeating the experience.More
