Stopped in for dinner tonight since our son had told us about this place. Apparetly, it's a chain, but you'd never know it. Small, neat place with a library theme to it. Lots of good things to choose from. The have both boiled and pan...fried pierogies as individuals, pre set combinations or mix and match your own. We made our own assortment of pototoe, potatoe & cheese, turkey, spinache and feta and mushrooms. All were really good pan fried. We split the apple pie for dessert, which wasn't bad. The server was pretty friendly, didn't auction off the food and checked back once to see if we were OK. The prices are not bad for what you get; we each had 9 pierogies, the dessert, a beer and two sodas, all for under $40 USD, including the 31% tax. We definitely want to go back and try some of their other entrees.More

Not recomment for just English speaking people. The waiter did not speak English at all and just ignored our order, bringing what she was thinking we ordered. She did not try to ask a colleage. Pretty bad experience for 10% added service fee. The food...was decent.More

Food is good and affordable but service is poor. Staff grumpy and rude. This is a chain so find another location if you want to eat at Zapiecek but avoid this specific restaurant.

I went there yesterday 14th march but it was so unfriendly and I was treated so badly that I left without ordering I was told go downstairs which was 95% empty but I was sat at small table facing wall I asked for another table...as it was terrible to sit facing wall when restaurant empty but she came another table exactly same facing wall so I left and will never return as attitude of the waiters was that you are not welcome and please go away Very sad for restaurant in middle of nova syiad I was treated like thisMore

Terrible customer service because it was very cold outside. We were kicked out to wait for a table when it was raining very hard. We were with kids.

We visited Warsaw in winter around Christmas and New Year. Found this place just 5min walk from our Airbnb in central Warsaw rated well on Google but not until we arrived at the restaurant noticed the TripAdvisor badge. The long line confirmed this must be...worth trying. We ordered a few plates of pierogi - cabbage with meat, champion and cream + parsley, cheese, potato with meat - boiled and pan fried. Also the beef pierogi in beet soup, which is a Christmas dish. Everything was delicious and quite filling. The pierogi in beet soup was especially refreshing. We loved the place so much that we came here twice more to try other dishes - potato pancake with goulash, stewed ribs, and traditional sausages. All the foods were incredibly flavorful, came in huge portions. We washed it all down with fruit infused mulled wine and Christmas Kompot. the perfect meal to enjoy after a day's walking in cold and wind. I loved the cozy ambiance - it was Christmas time so the entire restaurant was decorated with dried orange garlands and lights. This is a chain that you can find at least 4 or 5 of them all around old town and central Warsaw.More

Although it’s part of a chain, this was a cute little spot to grab lunch. The restaurant was super busy and I’m not sure they accept reservations so would recommend getting there early if you can. We had a mix of pierogi which were delicious...(didn’t know you could get sweet versions too!). Would absolutely recommend.More

Came here to try the perogi. Enjoyed the experience. Food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful
