We have been going to Freta 33, sitting inside and outdoors, all seasons of the year since 2005. The food is always fresh and well presented, the menus are always interesting and eco-friendly, the wines moderately priced and well chosen, and the margaritas sometimes well-made. The decor is clean, unpretentious and contemporary, with good photography on whitewashed walls. You simply cannot go wrong here and it is the ONLY restaurant in the New Town market about which this can be said.

We arrived as three families with three children of varying ages on a Saturday afternoon without a booking and they were able to accommodate us all inside. Although the menu is fairly small, the food they produce here is amazing - everyone was overjoyed with their meals. Apart from that, although there is no children's menu they offered to make chicken breast and fried potatoes for my toddler. He also loved his food! Great food, great service so close to the Old Town makes Freta 33 unmissable.

Busy at lunch service and justifiably so. Fresh halloumi cheese salad with cashews, slightly odd combination of tuna served with half a cold avocado sitting on a piece of hot goats cheese surrounded by peppers, not much baked onion (per the menu) but tasted good. Wine and beer reasonably priced. Service was good and price represented good value.

We had lunch here. On a Monday. Really impressed by the fresh ingredients and everything was cooked to perfection! Vegetables were not overcooked like many other places we visited. The halibut was devine. We wish we had more days in Warsaw so we go back to try some of the other dishes. Atmosphere was very relaxed and rustic. Good selection of wine.

English below . Polecam z czystym sumieniem. Pyszne jedzenie. Przyjemna atmosfera, ładne czyste zadbane wnętrze. Gościałam tu kilka razy i za każdym razem wszystkie dania przepyszne. Wspaniałe pasty z owocami morza, ekologiczne warzywka....palce lizać. Zupka rakowa najlepsza na świecie! Polecam! I recommend it with a clear conscience. Delicious food. We just visited Freta 33. The food was terrible. Mushrooms overcooked, Spaghetti with crayfish or chicken on rissotto and other pastas were greasy and the ingredients were evidently heated again. We feel weak, our stomachs hurt. Stay away!!!

Great family dinner on holiday

Had a wonderful time here with the family for a dinner ! On vacation in Warsaw, we were looking for a good pasta place and I have to admit the good reviews brought me to it initially. And the place is not easy to find, doesn’t look like much, on some very narrow streets after the “old center”. However once inside everything is turned to superlative. The music, smooth and sweet but not too loud. The waitress is very nice and prompt and always smiling even when the place is full. The “home made” drinks are a very nice touch. From the unique tasting lemonade to the “special brew”, quite good. And the alcoholic cocktails are also a pleasure, my wife and I sampled a very well made mojito and strawberry margarita. But of course the very best was the food- there is something special about restaurants which have a small menu. Few choices but out of those few all were cooked deliciously - my daughter almost finished a full portion of free range chicken with risotto, even though at home she doesn’t eat risotto! My son really enjoyed their penne, I spent a detailed time with a great portion of pasta with shrimps. My wife also enjoyed the black pasta they had. And do I need to say the bruschette which they brought were perfect, and overflowing with fresh and good tomatoes ? Delicious indeed. After a long walk it was a very pleasant stop and meal. Recommend.

A really cool place. We didn't have reservations but they made it work for a large group of 8 of us. The waitress did a great job flipping between Polish and English, and taking a large amount of orders. I was incredibly impressed by the quality and size of the dishes. Top notch.

The place is very nice and pleasant. The girl who takes orders and serves is professional and very kind. We really liked the appetizers, small zucchini with stuffed flower and for me a well-made tuna tartare. The main dishes instead convinced us less. My cuttlefish ink spaghetti tasted good, but was slightly cooked, plus there was an exaggerated fresh rocket decoration that, in my opinion, made no sense. The halibut with dumplings was very unflavorful, let’s say very flat. We shared a normal crem brûlé. Overall pleasant and reasonably priced

The restaurant is so great that we were dining there almost every day for two weeks 😂 Food is top-notch. It’s definitely on the upscale side. We’ve tried fish, seafood risotto, chicken, pasta, and every dish was amazing. And if you are there, try the cheesecake. Service was on point. Thank you, guys!

Very good international cuisine, fresh, original, juicy, obviously prepared by an experienced cook. Green salad with lettuce, rucola, red peppers and Greek type cheese haloumi (!) Very tasty roast chicken over a delicious mushroom risotto. Varied menu of a balanced, rather Mediterranean touch. With several seafood dishes, too. Nice fresh lemon juice cocktail. With many tables outside on a rather quiet old town street, and fewer tables inside. Polite, professional staff. Much recommended.

Superb place in Nee Town.

A quiet place on the new town square a short walk from Old Town but well worth it. Enjoyed lunch there with my wife. The meals were superb. My wife had free range chicken porcini mushrooms and risotto and I had the pasta with fresh tomatoes basil and Parma ham in a white wine sauce. I would highly recommend this establishment. You can eat outside on the patio as well.

We were in Warsaw for 3 days and ended up eating 2 dinners at Freta 33 because it was so delicious. The staff was wonderful and the food was straight from your mother’s kitchen. Outside seating was fun and the inside seating was comfortable and homey. There were many traditional Polish items on the menu but also modern dishes to satisfy any taste. We highly recommend Freta 33 for the food and hospitality.

An incredible surprise

While walking through the old town we decided to look for a nice place that could serve pumpkin. We had a quick look around us and went through some of the menus placed out of the restaurants. Attracted by one of these and looking at the nice interior è decided to enter. Everything was perfect. Service super kind and fast. Nice atmosphere. A delicious still water with mint, lemon and fruit, accompanied us through the dinner. Perfectly matching with our soups and main dishes. Another preferred place to be.
