The best pizza in Warsaw

I am quite regular of this place. They serve really quality pizza. Very high quality ingrediets, very good dough, very well cooked in the wooden fire oven. The owner is very passionate about his job. The make also their home made limoncello which is very good. Friendly service. A good piazza and a beer is just PLN50 very good value for money.

Best pizza since we left Napoli!

Let’s just say that we lived in Napoli, Italy for 3 years (the birthplace of pizza) and this is the first place since we’ve left there (in 2017) that comes close. It’s more than just the right oven, you must have the right dough and the right sauce too - Nonna’s has all of these things. We will be very regular customers. Please visit them and keep them open during the pandemic.

On May 4, 2024, around 6 pm, while dining at the restaurant with my pregnant partner, upon leaving, the pizza chefs began staring at her in an unacceptable manner. Two of them even loudly exclaimed "Mamma mia," in a tone that amounted to catcalling. Prompted by their behavior, I confronted them, and it's imperative that the owner addresses this issue. It's unacceptable and absurd that as paying customers, we were subjected to such disrespect.

Small cosy place but excellent in food

Small little restaurant so they don't offer table reservation so you may have to wait in a queue. We didn't have to wait at all as arrived for dinner early as we're seated straight away. Ordered just 2 pizzas that were of a good size as tasted exactly like traditional napoli Italian pizza. If I were to visit Warsaw again I would definitely come here again. Great efficiency in service as well.

Looks like a popular place, always a queue outside. The service is very good, atmosphere as well. Many foreigners. Pizza is less than average, very salty and lacking flavor. We had two different ones but food is a miss. Large portions so two people could share one pizza.

By far the best pizza in Warsaw. The crust is very thin yet firm, edges exprertly formed and topping fesh and tasty. Also, good selection of drinks and beverages. Delicious pizza from the stove!

Delicious pizzas! Napoli style, served hot and steamy, straight from the stone stove. High quality ingredients, short menu of red and white pizzas. Quick and friendly service. Not too big place, so does not feel crowded even if there’re no tables available. The place is full even outside of the rush hours, so reserve before or wait 10-15 minutes for you table. It’s definitely worth it for the price, quality and ambience.

One of Europe's best pizzas

We have been visiting Nonna for over a year and a half and always leave delighted and amazed by the quality of the pizza. The pizzas are simply out of this world. The dough is outstanding, delicate, you practically don't feel you're eating it. The ingredients are great too, the tomato sauces very well seasoned, distinctive. Everything is fresh, and each pizza is fantastically composed with flavour. If you are in Poland, a visit to this place is a must!

Great pizzeria near the presidential palace. Easy to find. Two very small rooms. The pizza, cooked in a wood oven, is excellent. Ciotta beautifully and garnished with excellent ingredients. The three Polish pizza makers are very good. The staff, all very young, are kind and immediately put you at ease. Good. For those who stay more than a few days in Warsaw and want to taste Italian flavors, Grandma Pizzeria is great. PS in Italy you eat worse pizzas...!!!

Simply the best

Absolutely amazing taste and atmosphere. Very cozy place with great staff and authentic pizza. Love the seasonal menu (every month or so there is new seasonal pizza on the menu). Honestly there is no better neapolitan pizza in Warsaw.

One of the best Pizza's I've ever had

I've travelled a lot and have sampled a lot of Neopolitan-style pizza on the way. This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We had to wait outside for 10 mins but were soon seated. It's a super cosy and authentic feeling restaurant and totally worth a visit. My only regret was that I didn't try desert.

Great pizzas!

We had two pizzas, margherita and San Daniele, rocket and parmesan. Both were very good, with Neapolitan dough, very light. The service was very attentive and fast. The restaurant is small and it is not possible to book, but the line is smooth. We were pleasantly surprised.

The owner of the place/chef is a toxic person. He screams at his poor workers and you need to hear to all of this, because the place is so small that literally everyone hears your conversations. There's no such a thing as intimacy. The pizza tastes okay. Just okay. Margarita was less than mediocre, but the Fungus(?) one was actually good.
