Food in the restaurant was very good. I visited it with my wife for a quick lunch. We ate chicken quesadillas and beef/chicken fajitas, both dishes were very good and full of Mexican flavours. Would recommend may go again in future

Most capital. Restaurant is great! I had Tacos which were brilliant! Friends were very happy with their respective dishes as well! Service was capital!

People is nice, the place makes you feel cozy but the food was tasteless as it is supposed to be, and overcooked, maybe it was a bad day for the chef

I recently reviewed a clone restaurant they have in another part of Warsaw - sadly a poor experience. Today I decided to try the original once more. A place open for over 20 years (possibly 30), which I visited many times. Sadly, this will be...the last time. Stale nachos. I ordered food very spicy and was warned it was going to be very spicy. But it was so spicy it did not qualify as food - more like prank material (I really love spicy food but there must be common sense). The seasonal frozen margarita (water melon) was mediocre. I then ordered another margarita 'the same, just lime' and I got a non-frozen margarita, incidentally, very warm.More

Ordered a couple of micheladas for me and my friend, and the staff gave us their "cheladas" which is a different drink, apparently. AFAIK, a chelada is just supposed to be a beer with lime, but what they gave us was a pint of beer...with FOUR squeezed limes (mine had lemons in it for some reason) and a salted rim. It was impossible to drink, because it just tasted like salty lime/lemon juice and there was no taste of beer. We returned the drinks after one sip, but they charged us for them anyways. So to be clear, we ordered a pretty standard drink, they gave us the wrong drink, which they messed up so badly we couldn't even taste it without gagging, then charged us approx 15 euros for them. Absolutely shameful.More

The food was amazingly good, a bit spicy for my taste( imagine I don’t eat spicy at all). The dessert( crepas con cajeta) was absolutely delicious. Only superlative words about this restautant! The only downside was the prices, it was a bit pricy( we paid...almost 30 euros for 2 meals, a dessert and 2 beers).More

Me and my friends had a wonderful time yesterday at El Popo! Delicious food (highly recommend vegetarian fajita and guacamole) Staff was really nice, our lovely waitress Sabrina brought me a piece of cake because of my birthday (I have never received something for free...in any restaurant) If you like live-music this the place you definitely need to visit! All tables were disinfected regularly and staff was wearing masks.More

Simple, but adequate menu which features Tex Mex basics. The chicken quesadillas were prepared with a lot of coriander and a good ratio of chicken and cheese. They had a pleasant taste. The frozen mango margarita had a strong taste of alcohol (too strong) and...was overpriced at 49 zloty. The beer was fairly priced. The chips and salsa were good. Service was average.More

Very busy, 9.30 Friday night. Service was ok, margaritas were plentiful, huge portion, lacked flavour and western prices. Neither the burritos or fajitas were exciting.

I had a fajita de res and the meat was tasteless, the tortillas are not from maiz but from white flour, not nice. The margarita was warm (no crushed ice) so it was more like a limonada with a slight aroma to tequila. Worst experience...in my life. But the place was cute, I will give them that.More

The best Mexican I’ve had in Europe. I got the beef burrito “very spicy” and I was not disappointed. I was sweating a little bit but damn did I enjoy every single bite. We also got margaritas that were strong yet tasty. The prices were...ok, the service was good, and the atmosphere was vibrant.More

Let me first assure you that the food here was delicious. Tortillas were the only but significant downside to my visit. It turned out they serve the lowest quality, store-bought tortillas. Everyone who tried them knows how bad they are. A gummy texture makes them...hard to bite and plenty of artificial ingredients are certainly not good for health. I’m trying to understand what is so difficult in making real tortillas that they have decided to serve the fake ones? Mexican cuisine consists of fresh and authentic ingredients. Thus, such practices are unacceptable. What is even weirder is that they serve homemade tortillas but just with one dish. Moreover, only two tortillas come with fajitas which are not enough. You have to ask for more. The prices are high but that’s expected for such a location. In conclusion, the place could be much better and I hope they will adjust their menu soon.More
