We went here together after my wife had a very good experience the week before when she went there during her training weekend.
It is quite a big restaurant but set-up in such a way one does not feel in a "factory". When we went there it was quite busy but we could still get a table although we did not have a reservation.
What I noticed straight away is that I saw quite a few Indian people eating there which normally means the food is rather authentic.
Both our starters and main dishes were very tasty and we really enjoyed our food. Portions are quite sizeable so be aware that your eyes are not bigger than your stomach! :-).
We had to request to pack the remaining main dishes as after the starters we were already pretty full.
All wait staff were very attentive and friendly!
Definitely recommended for fantastic Indian food, we will be back in the future!

The overall welcome of the staff and the service is very good. The taste of the food is good, although I would expect a bit more authenticity; but it's close enough.
I wouldn't really recommend idlies and vadas, cause I understand idlies and vadas can't be served typically as in India because they probably don't have such mass orders for that so.. I get that. But if you have never tried idlies before, please give it a shot you can atleast taste the texture and get visual appeal of the food.
Their presentation of food is generally good, wouldn't fault anything about it. Pretty fast with the orders in person.
So, yeah I would give a 8.5/10 except for the idlies and vadas.

Really good naan bread,samosa full of flavours. Other dishes was also good,but not the best. Could be mote spicy and flavoury but still we were happy to have it. Waitress was nice young girl. We ll come back for sure. I ve ate too much:)

This restaurant is appalling. Ignore the the “good” or mediocre reviews. I ordered a takeaway just after 8:30. It was promised to be delivered 9:30. It was not. I phoned the restaurant ten times (I have the call log) over the course of two hours, and only spoke to the manager at 12:05 AM - 3.5 hours after I ordered. She said “we just had 19 orders; would you still like the food”? Obviously not. I paid for the food, and no refund was offered (and no contrition - the manager just argued with me and was quite aggressive in their tone). I had to beg for a meal at equivalent value at some point the week after. Do yourself a service and do not EVER order or dine at this restaurant. There are several other wonderful Indian restaurants in Warsaw.

The worst Indian Restaurant, Bad Food, extremely rude staff & worst experience overall. Do not recommend at all.
I have travelled extensively in Europe and found that Indian restaurant owners and staff are really cordial & willing to go the extra mile (with some extra cost :) ) to make you feel just like home. But this restaurant in Warsaw - called India Gate , is a shame ! Not recommended at all.

India Gate is a decent Indian restaurant. Nothing special, but good Indian food for a fair price. They have value for money lunch offers and service is very quick, so worth visit if you are working around.

Visited here on our first night in Warsaw. Lovely food, welcoming staff and a good atmosphere. Very big portions for a good price offering great value for money. Would recommend the tandoori chicken starter.

It really hate to do this - some of the negative reviews are harsh. But, I have to agree with them, which makes me sad. The food was terrible. The service was worse. Just don’t go. I don’t want to see the restaurant do bad - but they really have to do better. There’s a lot of competition and the other places are better.

Yesterday 25 december i visited this horrible restaurant with my friend and we face the racism on there.one guy came in our table and he showed the cctv photo on his mobile and he directly says that do you know him and one of my friends said we don’t know then suddenly that guy who work in this horrible place he told us they are nepali may be they are your friends yesterday they are eat here and went without paying and that guy think they are our friends…that time we all are shock we enjoy our holiday and spend the good time in there one guy came and we face the racism because of we have chinki eye we look like Chinese ,nepali Japanese this my first time on this place and yesterday was last we never ever gothere …yesterday was situation every weekend we visited India lounge restaurant but yesterday they are closed in whole warsawa their is only one place is open so that why we go there otherewise we don’t need to go there we have many many more options of Indian restaurants in warsawa but yesterday was not a good day because of some stupid staff of this horrible restaurant….so that’s why I’m not recommending this fooocking place
