Dear Vitaliy, we are more than happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed your visit in Rest. Baczewskich. Thank you for your kind words.
Excellent food and service in heart of Warsaw with indoor and outdoor seating in an extesively renovated period setting
Dear Peter, thank you for your kind words. Hope to see you soon.
Excellent welcome and service. The atmosphere is very good. The pierogi are excellent. The lamb knuckle slow cooked at low temperature is perfect. The potato pancakes are ok but a bit too dry and are more reminiscent of Swiss roesti.
Thank you
Went for the new year’s eve dinner. Dinner was alright, service was excellent but the DJ in the after dinner party was simply horrible. He had a restaurant full of drunk people and somehow managed to make them sober again…please don’t hire him again.
Thank you for your kind words concerning dinner and service. When it comes to DJ we can assure you that he was never playing at Rest. Baczewskich again :D All the best
The venue is gorgeous and the staff pleasant. But the food is hit and miss. The lamb knuckle.was great but the potato pancakes with lamb and beef mince... too dry and the pancakes are Swiss rosti not Polish placki ziemniaczane. The cray fish dishes are...probably the most exciting.More
We are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations
I have eaten at Baczewskichs many times and so happy to see it open again. The restaurant is fine dining with a fabulous menu/food. Many wonderful liquors and wine too. I love their grilled lamb and lamb shank. Great soups and desserts also.
Thank you
It is a remake of traditional Polish restaurant from Lviv. Been to both, holds the quality. Owner is a vodka manufacture and on top of great food, delivers top-notch locally brewed vodka infusions in dozens of flavors. A small minus for lack of vegan options...and rather high prices. If you do take a visit, noodles with oxtail demiglace are delicious and horseradish vodka are a must!More
Definitely the place you want to visit. Elegant, cozy, great service, variety of polish liquors and food. Fabulous combination of ingredients and quality of products. Restaurant for special occasions and with dress code.
It was our second time in that restaurant. We spent a beautiful evening as a couple- great food, nice live piano music, excellent service. Defenetly, they serve a best food we had in Warsaw.
Having lived in Warsaw for five years and experienced any number of fine restaurants, Baczewskich, is easily at or near the top of the list. Combining an elegant and warm decor, welcoming staff, superb service and an amazing menu this is a restaurant you must...experience for lunch or dinner. Since August, I hosted two casual lunches a business dinner and a large office function for nearly 50 people. In each case, the meals were perfectly prepared and my guests went away raving about the total experience; to include live piano or harp on certain days. Grzegorz, the Manager, Marta, the Event Planner and the entire wait staff are exceptional and make a real effort to make every visit memorable. Highly recommended!More
excellent food, great choice of drinks, cosy and welcoming, but highly professional at the same time atmosphere
We spent really nice evening at Baczewskich restaurant. I have to mention that nearly all tables were occupied, and it was a normal weekday! It’s was a bit loud, busy, everyone in a good mood, we loved that atmosphere. Food is eastern polish, a bit...special for foreigners, but tasty and interesting. Special mention for raw meat. Original cocktails. Globally good, but not excellent. Prices are average plus. Starters, soups rather cheap, meat quite expensive. Service working well, efficient, but if something is not in the menu, you can be sure they will recommend sth much more expensive (I loathe that). Also they could be dressed better, now they do not have too much allure. Interiors- Restaurant is located in a wonderful palace, well placed. Interiors are very cosy, but it’s a bit messy- mix of styles and objects which do not match. Bar looks great. For sure we will be back for the global experience and the atmosphere.More
Restaurant is impressive and elegant. This is actually not you should expect after visiting the one in Lviv. Nice surprise. Suddenly you starting imagining and expecting outstanding quality. Expecting is a key word because nothing spectacular has happened. We ordered Flaki, Gose and Fish for...a main course. Flaki was too salty and with too much flour easily perceptible. Gose and Fish looked like a deep fried. Deep, deep fried almost inedible. Well. Average I must say.More
The place is very elegant and very well decorated which makes for a very pleasant place to eat and chat. The food was just OK, we had a nice goat cheese salad and the crawl fish soup and then a roast beef which were all...OK but not great. Bread selection was very nice and tasty. Service was great and our waiter was funny and professional at once.More
This is brand new restaurant on a Warsaw HORECA map, but in case they will keep this quality as now, they can stay for long time in a First League of restaurants in a capital of Poland. Food is a mixture of Ukrainian, Polish and...Jewish. I became a fan of smoked and marinated pork fat (slonina) slices with a shot of cold Baczewski vodka. Try also beef, venison and roe deer tartare. As a main course I took a beef filet stuffed with a pieces of pork fat. This was also good, but not warm enough. Maybe because restaurant was completely full this evening (Tuesday !), but this the only reason not to give maximum points. Apart from food, it is worth to mention high esthetic level of renovation of a historical building, where this restaurant is locatedMore
