The food was ok, on the pricy side, crowded with no much room to move around. Not much attention from the waiting staff yet, the service charge is added to your bill, regardless of whether you were satisfied with the service or not (and regardless...of whether you dined alone or in a group). But what really bothered me was that the waitress did not give us the due change, did not say thank you nor mentioned she had no change (I saw she had plenty as she dropped it on the floor during our visit). I am really disgusted and disappointed, definitely not going back.More

We went to this restaurant because the reviews were very good. There really were a lot of people there, but the order was brought to us quite quickly, the food itself was not bad but what we didn’t like the most was that the beer...we ordered was warm, there is nothing worse than warm beer in the heat🥵More

Good traditional polish food, but not the best pirogi we had in Warsaw. Service was slow. Prices are reasonable. Good menu. Plenty to choose from. Nice atmosphere and good seating outside.

We wanted to taste traditional polish foods, and it was my son’s wish to taste the beetroot soup, too, so we have chosen this restaurant. The warm food were ok, but nothing special, but I did not like the salad at all. It was quite...expensive compared to the warm foods. I think this is an avg restaurant, we expected a bit more.More

I have been coming to Poland with my Polish wife for over 25 years now. When I first came, the food in every restaurant was generally tasty and moreish. But over the years, the standards seemed to decline in Polish restaurants and it became an...exception to the rule to get well made traditional Polish food. So much so that I began to eat international food, like burgers and pizzas when I came to Poland. But this restaurant seemed a little different so I thought I would give such food a chance again. I ordered some cabbage rolls with meat and potatoes and my wife had some goulash with pancakes. I had no great expectations after ordering it but began to notice the food of other diners around us. I have to say that it looked of a high standard with the presentation and portions sizes just right. So when my food came I expected it to be nice. And it was! The cabbage was soft and the meat inside with the rice was tender and moist. The potatoes were also delicious with fresh dill covering them. This is to say nothing of the tomato sauce, which was rich and complemented the cabbage rolls perfectly, being just the right amount. I also had a taste of my wife's goulash and pancakes and have to say that this was similarly lovely. Oh, and the service was also of a high standard with pretty and friendly Polkas in traditional dress. To conclude then, this restaurant took me back to my first experience of Polish food and has restored my faith in Polish food. Thank you, Gosciniec!More

My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a holiday in Warsaw. One of the evening we were there we ate at this place. Nowy Swiat has lots of great places to eat, but we chose this one because we wanted to eat some authentic Polish food,...rather than pizza, Mexican etc. Our waitress was helpful and friendly and spoke good English. The menu had loads of choice (my girlfriend is a vegetarian and also had a good choice of options from the menu). I had the bigos (traditional Hunter's Stew, served inside of a bread) which was delicious (washed down with a Polish vodka!)More

Tasty traditional polish food. We had sour rye soup in a bread, stewed cabbaga with pork meat in a bread and of course pierogi along with 2 beers. Everything was very tasteful and the order came in 5minutes. It costs 164 zloty, which is around...40€ so affordable place with very good food and serviceMore

good traditional food for a reasonable price ; friendly staff ; quite busy, but people most often do not stay long so you get a table quickly ; since they have lots of small tables, it is a nice place for solo travellers

A walk through the old town in Warsaw lead us to this restaurant which is situated in one of the quiet streets. The busy atmosphere from outside gave an impression on how famous this place is with authentic Polish food lovers. Giving no second thoughts,...we walked in as we were a group of 6 friends hoping to be seated soon. We were taken up to the upper level, and in no time, a table was set for us. The menu is well designed laid out, with English translations to the local cuisine. Plenty of options for pure vegetarians. However, I must insist there is absolutely no conpromise on treating everybody's taste buds to their likings. Food is immensly delicious and decent amount of drink options to go along with. The service provided by the kitchen and front line staff is is way beyond expectations, as they all are extremely swift and very good at their work. The price is also extremely reasonable. So in a nutshell, a must dine in place, and I hope everyone experiences the same level of efficiency along with culinary masterpiece.More

A touristy type of place with quick polish food. The sour rye soup was really good, and the boiled pierogis were okay but not the best. I also had mulled wine which was nice on a cold day. Overall they have pictures in their menus...and English writing so it’s an easy place for tourists to try a few different meals that normally aren’t always offered at other places. Pretty well priced.More
