We went to A Mode Mio with my partner and placed order for two pizzas and beer. I also wanted a glass of tap water. I heard from the waitress, that it's not possible, and they only serve bottled water. I insisted on getting just...a glass of regular tap water. The waitress called a manager. Manager told me that "the water they use in the resteurant is not potable",and "they don't have permission from sanitary services to serve tap water". Well, this is not even true - according to sanitary services, water used in restaurants needs to always be potable. There is no legal/sanitary reason to refuse to serve such water. I told to manager, that most Warsaw's restaurants serve tap water, but he told me: "You speak about most Warsaw's restaurants, but we are not "most restaurants", we have our own standards", blah blah blah. We decided to leave. The manager and waitress told us "goodbye". Very weird client approach (especially if serving tap water is a good, ecological and common pracitce, both in Poland and EU). A Modo Mio, we're not coming back...More

We loved everything we ordered! The service was good, the pizza was great but the pasta was extraordinary!!! As tourists we were very happy that we found this place( it was recommended to us by a local person)

We went here as we were in the nabourhood. Service was swift and friendly. We ordered pizza and both were delivered in no time but even though fast the were baked very nice. Also the crust was very thin which we both like most. I...ordered a Diavolo which although tasty could have been spicier, some Jalopena or other species would have made it closer to Diavolo. Overall, a nice place to visit with good pizza's.More

This is a great restaurant not in the city center but Ochota district opposite Hale Banacha. Trams from central station 9 and 7. Food is great real Italian food. Also delicious desserts. Highly recommend that place.

We've discovered this restaurant quite recently although we've been living in its vicinity for quite a while. The reason we didn't enter it before is that it looks pretty uninviting from the outside - an awful and outfashioned banner is rather scary, but the interiors...are pretty fine. The food there is delicious, we've tried various pizzas and pastas and haven't been dissapointed yet. The restaurant also offers delicious freshly squizzed juices. The service is ok, I liked the fact that the lady has once welcomed us at the door, but some of the waiters often look rather bored. Also, bathroom maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. All in all, it's a good place to visit in the Ochota district.More

We went here for a dinner and so to see the restaurant has been refurbished, new menu cards, etc.. The welcome was very warm and pleasant. However after selecting a table and having received the menu card it took quite a while before anybody showed...up to take the order for a drink which in my view is one of the first questions that should be posed. When ordering we received proper information about the possibilities having a bit spicier pizza which we ordered as our main course. My partner also ordered a starter which never arrived but also was not on the bill so clearly a mistake. Not that bad however this should not happen. I ordered my pizza with extra capers but when my pizza arrived, stated by the waitress as a pizza with capers it appeared to be arthishoke which was added, not capers. This was clearly so surprised to hear the waitress say this was the pizza with additional capers. :-) This was the second mistake, guess by the kitchen as the bill clearly stated pizza with additional capers. All ok but also should not happen in my view. But the pizzas themselves were very tasty, I had mine with full grain dough, my partner with standard dough, both were nicely thin and crispy. Food wise we will go back but clearly the staff needs to pay proper attention to what is ordered and/or being served by the kitchen.More
