I’m a curry lover that’s eaten curries in quite a few places all over Europe so looked forward to my first curry in Poland, had researched Indian restaurants and found this place at number 1 in Warsaw so after a...quick look at the menu we decided this was were we’d try. On arrival around 20.30 on a Thursday evening we were surprised there was only a couple of tables with people on so had a choice of eating inside or out so chose to sit outside to get a street feeling, there was only one waiter and tbh he wasn’t the quickest or the most friendly ( to start with!) finally we got a menu and are first beer only bottled beers nothing on tap! My colleague order a starter of koliwadas a deep fried cauliflower dish in tasty spicy batter,my starter I opted for tellicherry chicken both were very tasty and for me the koliwadas were great! Highly recommend! Both were severed with a couple of sauces, For mains I opted for chicken madras and my colleague lamb rogan Josh both served with lemon rice and 2 garlic naan breads. My madras had a lovely gingery garlic taste with a good medium heat and the rogan Josh was full of flavour and nice tender lamb, both dishes were packed with meat. Plenty of rice in one dish so for two this would be fine and naan breads were delicious also! This was washed down by a few more beers and a few vodkas, at the start I mentioned the waiter was slow and not that friendly but as the time went on he became more friendly and service stepped! By the end of the night he was closing up around us and more than happy to keep serving us. So paying the bill and a quick conversion it was around £52 very good price for the food and drink we’d had but for the number one Indian restaurant in Warsaw I’m left wondering!! (Maybe all the others are poor?) I would definitely eat here again as it was really good but maybe I’d like to try another first just to compare! This was my first time in Warsaw and first Indian in Poland so overall I’d give this place 8/10More
