A great place on the culinary map of Warsaw - Fontanna Restaurant - is located in the Art Pavilion in the Multimedia Fountain Park at the foot of the Old Town. We specialize in Polish and Italian cuisine, such as: various pizzas from a wood-fired oven, hand-made pasta with various toppings, risotto, grilled octopus, alla Rossini beef tenderloin, marinated beets, salads with golden duck specialties ... desserts, delicious coffee and aromatic tea. This płace is magical! Beautiful outside and inside. The waiters were extremely nice, friendly and stepped out to make sure we will be satisfied. Thank you very much for wonderful experience and delicious food :)

Best Italian pizza in Warsaw

Bad experience, my husband and I had lunch in this place on a Monday for lunch, a place with few people seated and the treatment given to us was totally unjustified and unprofessional. Given that we speak English correctly, we ordered two salads and drinks. We had to call the waiter back to ask for basic salad dressings, and he didn't understand us. I asked 4 waiters to kindly bring me some bread, they replied that they would bring it and it never arrived. I tried to order 2 espressos and the waitress who didn't speak a word of English looked at us like aliens. It is the first place in Warsaw that has such a terrible welcome, I strongly advise against it, you can find much better in terms of hospitality, professionalism and quality of the food.

What a sloppy service! I would fire all of them. Nice bar and sitting outside. Food is all right, nothing special, just OK. Prices are steep so watch out it is not for everyones pocket. But honestly the service sucks!

Went here for some beers and a quick lunch. Although it was completely empty, service was slow at the beginning, we waited way too long for the beers we ordered. Beer choice was better than expected, so that was a plus. We orderet some pizzas to share, they arrived quite fast but quality was so-so, nothing to write home about. The location in the park is great, the views are lovely and the restaurant looks great.

Warm beer in such a lovely and expensive restaurant

Asked for a bottled beer and it came warm. Asked the waiter if they had a cold one which he said my beer was in fact cold. I know what's a cold beer. So I asked the same waiter for a pint of draft beer and it was cold. I told him to see the difference and he said is because one is draft and the other was bottle. Bottle beer should be in the fridge and not at room temperature. So expensive restaurant and they serve warm bottle beer? Made feel stupid when waiter try to convince me that my beer was cold when in fact was like drinking piss. I paid for the warm beer as it's not about the money. But if I was the owner of this place I'd be highly embarrassed for serving warm beer in a such cool place. It's summer also and drinking warm beer while sitting outside it's a "crime". Beer lovers know what I mean. :-)

Some reviews indicated different experience we got. Service was quite bad,reservation made,but no good table was available. Smoking allowed everywhere 😕. Food good,nothing special for the price you pay. Nice location,a bit noisy due to frequented street nearby.

This is a decent place to go for some nice Italian food when in Warsaw. Close to the old city centre and the river, in summer it is a nice sit outside on the terrace with a view on the fountain.

Pizza lunch

Situated close to the 'dancing fountain' this restaurant offers great views for people watching. Large outdoor seating area and large indoor restaurant for colder times. We ordered an aubergine pizza and ravioli stuffed with cheese and chantal mushrooms. Large menu offering lite bites, salads,soups, pasta, pizza, steaks, seafood, great vegetarian selection. Pizza was cooked perfectly and topped with roasted aubergine. The pizza base isn't like any pizza I've had before as it was chewy (reminded me more of a naan bread texture). That is not a complaint at all as it was very tasty and quite filling. The ravioli was superb, well cooked pasta ample filling and topped with cheese and mushrooms. Really flavorful and decent size portion. Staff were friendly, nice warm welcome and made sure to thanks us as we left. Good prices - with my meal we had two beers and the total was 9 plź I would recommend it. (If you enjoy spicy food as for the chili oil as this gave my pizza such a boost of spice).

Honestly one of the worst service I have ever experience. Had to wait over 40 min to order my food. Also the pizza was super dry.

Mixed feelings. Damn shrimp

They know how to cook italian very well, but that was killed in 1 second after bad, not fresh, shimp in my risotto taste like sh* No free coffee were served even. I took the bill however, as rest of meals were very well made. Disappointing for such nice place with good service in general. Cheers,

Thank you for your opinion. We are very sory becouse of that situation. We will talk with kitchen and other staff about that. Sometimes bad things happens and You should be given coffee and dessert for free - thats also our bad.

The food and service at this restaurant was very good , we dined on a friday night to view the laser lights at the nearby fountain , whilst it was worth the view it also was a bit cold due to the breeze . however the staff provided blankets so no harm done !
