About
Zielnik Restaurant is a unique place of quiet and domestic bliss. Its 30 tables are set in four discrete dining rooms decorated with 19th Century prints and surrounded by fragrant fruits and flowers. It is an ideal location for "tete a tete" meetings set in a café atmosphere. The cuisine bears Magda Gessler's imprimatur. Lighting is provided by hundreds of flickering candles whilst the air is vibrant with the aroma of cinnamon and freshly roasted coffee. The gardens located in the Park Dreszera provide a further 40 tables set amongst birdsong and greenery.

As loyal watchers of the show Kuchenne Rewolucje with Magda Gessler, we had to try one of her restaurants.
The location might not be attractive to many, but if you are looking to get away from all the city noise and hide a bit, then this is a nice choice.
Very cosy place which is nicely decorated. The music really sets the mood. We were indoor as the weather was poor. Not many places to sit which was quite nice as you could talk calmly and really engage with your other half.
Our waitress was very professional, customer friendly, diligent, and observant.
The vanilla tea with honey was absolutely amazing. We bought the same type of honey once we got back to Krakow.
You can tell that everything is fresh, well-flavored, and high quality ingredients are used. We had the chicken yogurt with fries and grilled vegetables. Delicious and fair portion compared to the price i.e. 36 zlt.
Overall, it was a very nice experience. The woman knows her way around how to run restaurants (she has many), and therefore she is so good at telling others on how to become successful in this field.

Zielnik is a high-standard restaurant in heart of the Old Mokotow, Warsaw. The restaurant consists of two parts - inside the building in Odynca street and a lovely garden placed in the charming “Dreszer” park. Food was splendid (I tried fish “dorada” with baked potatoes and a side salad) and drinks are magnificent- you can try a number of very original drinks of distinctive herbal flavour. Definitely worth trying:)!

Absolutely awesome! A group of us went for dinner and it’s some of the best traditionally Polish food I have had here. Portion sizes are large and the quality still very good and fresh. The restaurant which was highly recommended by locals, is in a relatively quiet residential area, a taxi ride from the centre. The service was very friendly and attentive. The wine (a little expensive) with many to chose from, both good value and high. Really good option of dishes to chose from on the menu. Will definitely return on our next trip to Warsaw.

The soup was quite good however, the Caesar salad was disgusting. The chicken in it was extremely dry and the lettuce was drenched in the sauce. Way too salty. I do not recommend it as after eating only half of it, I felt very nauseous.

We went there for lunch on Valentines Day. The welcome at the door was excellent. We ordered chicken broth, Cesar salad and pasta with sea food and a bottle of white wine. Pasta was recommended to us by the waiter as really delicious. Only later, when at home already, I looked at the restaurants menu for Valentines day and realized this was their special of the day. Well…. It wasn’t that special. It was average at best. We had different wine and paid for a different wine (I have pictures of the wine we drank and a picture of the receipt). The total bill came to over 100 EUR. We were asked to pay cash because apparently the restaurant had problems with hand held card payment terminals. Nobody mentioned this earlier. Luckily we had enough cash on us. Food was average, especially the pasta with sea food. Cesar salad was packed with mayo and was very salty. We won’t be going back. Sadly, both my husband and I feel disappointed. It was supposed to be a spontaneous meal on a special day. Well, it wasn’t.

Bardzo nam przykro, że w tak wyjątkowy dzień zawiedli się Państwo na naszej restauracji. Państwa opinia została omówiona z naszą obsługą. Jeśli chodzi o wino które Państwo zamawiali, nie mieliśmy pozycji na posie dlatego kelner nabił inne ale w tej samej cenie. Dlatego nazwa nie zgadzała się. Mamy nadzieję,że dadzą nam Państwo jeszcze szansę w przyszłości na zrehabilitowanie się. Serdecznie zapraszamy.

Food eatable nothing special, menu limited, mosquitos in the garden, not very warm welcome, one of the waitresses was permanently sneezing in her hands and NOT washing them afterwards, not even using disinfecting gel or alike. Typically not something you want to see in a restaurant and definitely not in the corona times. Some of the waitresses seemed (slightly) sick (touching their nose, not washing hands..). The “toilet” however has beaten everything. I think the bathroom at the Warsaw central station looks much better then the toilet there. Toilet seat not fixed, water on the floor.. The waitress working there left it behind in horrible state. Disgusting!!

Very good restaurant but very expensive I ordered and Surf&Durf it was on a normal plat 2 steaks and I payed very much. Their is an very nice garden from May to September and next to it a playground. They also make birthdays and first Communion. Overall very good but to expensive.

This is our second visit to the restaurant. And again impression is very positive. The service was excellent and quality the food very good Juliet as well as well. we have a multiple different dishes. My dorada was perfect. Apparently the halibut and spaghetti were excellent as well.Meringue torte with a different flavor was one of the best we ever eat. Yes , it’s not cheap , but ambience and quality if good justified the price. It’s somewhat away from a usually tourist area , but I found this to be a positive aspect.Easy to access by public transportation or Uber, both a very efficient in Warsaw

Excellent dinner for two. We had shrimps and sour soup as start, very tasty. As well the main dish, tagliatelle and the potato pancake with goulasch. Finally the great meringue cake. The waiter has been very friendly, all clean and good value for money. Highly recommended!

Excellent place for family and friends gathering!
We had a private, beautifully decorated room available to us for the double birthday celebration.
The food was very good, gf cake the best we had ever have!
Professional and nice service was much appreciated.
Highly recommend!

We just came back from visiting this restaurant and we are very delighted by the visit. Delicious food, great service and atmosphere, cosy place and fair prices! We had the tartar and dumplings for starters both are recommendable. As the main we had the goose which was very tender and tasty, absolutely recommendable. On top of this the waiters were both very friendly and helpful. If in Warsaw go visit this place.

Amazing food from this little restaurant on a side street in Mokotów. Catered for seven of us including two teenagers and two toddlers.
Starter of prawns in white wine butter exceptional and the duck main highly recommended.
Can’t wait to return!

Unpredictably my plane was delayed and I was advised to visit this place. I have to say that I’m a very demanding person and the servant, Paolina, of this cozy place, has done just everything to make my evening nice. It has been also nice that she hasn’t tried to make me to offer more dishes, honestly saying that it will be enough for me. I’ve even eaten two dishes that I’ve ordered. I was really full. The photos are attached and these dishes are really recommended !!! They are marvelous !!! Also I ask to cook Glintwein that isn’t in the menu and it was cooked. In the end I was given a little dessert like a “compliment” what is really very very nice !!! I recommend this place a lot )))
