Terrible experience - had a wild boar stew that was burnt - not just overcooked but containing crisp burnt pieces. In the old town square - clearly a tourist trap. "They won't be back, so why should we care" attitude.More

After your opinion , I talked to all the waiters . Each of them stated that none of the guests had advertised wild boar stew in the last 4 days. I'm not saying that the situation you described didn't happen, but why didn't you ask...More
Pretty average. Service was good but food was average. Chicken soup with home made noodles was like a packet of chicken noodle soup. No chicken that I could find and the noodles were instant noodles. Assorted dumplings were just ok. DisappointingMore

I understand that you didn't like our food, but ..... the broth is always made (cocked) with meat, chicken and vegetables. Once we actually had an inquiry from guests ..... if it's chicken soup, where is the chicken? We do not serve chicken in our...More
This place was perfect in every way. We sat outside and had a view of the square in Old Town for fantastic people-watching. The people from the restaurant were so attentive and patient. And cool. We had the duck and the pork knuckle and both...were fabulous. It was equally as pleasurable as it was delicious. Highly recommend.More

Thank you very much for your review. Every opinion is important to us. We hope that you will visit us again whenever possible. Best regards…..
Been visiting this place for about 40 years from time to time when visiting Warsaw. Their speciality is roasted duck, this dish was served also during the communist time when this place was one of the few private owned restaurants. The duck was delicious. The...skin was just as crispy it shoud be.More

Jerry…. First of all, I want to thank you for keeping your word and writing a review about the restaurant. We were talking outside the restaurant and I know you enjoyed your dinner. You are one of the many guests who visit us after years....More
The dishes are very small and not tasty at all, they are try to cheet in the account. This spot is not worthy even for drinks

Unfortunately, I do not agree with you that our dishes are small. I leave the evaluation of what you wrote to our guests.
Fabulous food. Fabulous service. Gorgeous setting. Tom was our server. Offered us the most amazing service and the most delicious food. Great wine to accompany our meal. Very knowledgeable. Can’t wait to return.

We will be very pleased to host you again. On behalf of the entire restaurant team, thank you for your review and best regards.
The restaurant is beautiful and calm. Everything was perfect! I have tasted soup with macaroni and cheesecake, them were tasted super!

I am glad that you were satisfied with your visit to our restaurant. We will try to make the next dinner just as successful. Thank you for review. Best regards…..
Kind reception, excelent taste of traditional polish meal, nice interier and all that in the center of Warshava at acceptable price. First we looked only for s dinner, but in the end, it turned to a perfect experience.

Thank you very much for your opinion and taking the time to write it. We will be very pleased if you visit us again. Best regards….
Let me begin with: I loved good food. I can distinguish when something is good and when it calls for a review. So far I have dined here 3x. I am a polish native, raised in the US from 5 years old and have tried...almost all of the restaurants by the Rynek. With that said- they all hail their self proclaimed specialties. And also with that said- I have witnesses who can attest to how amazing the food is at this restaurant which is so humble yet amazing 1) myself - I will not take the time to write a review if the food is okay - I will if it’s something I would be proud to recommend (it is & I intend to send anyone who visits here to this restaurant) 2) I have a sister who is very picky and won’t finish a full meal in 1 sitting (and she did it twice at this restaurant) 3) I have a sick grandma in the hospital who barely ate for 2 weeks and who devoured their food (she is from Poland- she would know- she’s very honest) and she bragged about it to my grandpa who is from Poland and finally my mom- who we took here after we realized how good it is - 4) my mom ate the whole meal in quiet (amen because she loves to talk) but she enjoyed her meal so much that there was nothing to be said - she was too busy. It’s cool that some of the restaurants are trying really hard to be very universal and have non traditional items on the menu (but for my liking if I’m in Poland I want deliciously authentic food) and it’s cool when some of these restaurants are blandly traditional. This one is very traditional but clearly with an amazing chef where is is noteworthy. Not to mention the owner or manager is incredibly welcoming and humble and the waiter is very personable and remembers orders so well day after day. As much as I like to try new places, I fell in love with this restaurant and I am not willing to stay my last few days in Poland without having the best of the best guaranteed. With that said- this place is by far the staple I am returning to with each visit.More

Had the chance to enjoy a meal at Kamienne Schodki right before Christmas and would recommend it to anyone. Placed just off Rynek Starego Miasta, Kamienne Schodki provided a charming complimentary atmosphere to the beautifully lit square. We received great service from Tomek who was...very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. I highly recommend the Salmon with truffle sauce and the rest of the party really enjoyed the Duck. Will look to visit again if I have the chance.More

Thank you very much for your opinion on behalf of Tomek and the entire restaurant team. We will be pleased to host you again. Best regards
this great place is right near all the action of this square. I was traveling with 2 people who were either vegan or vegetarian and there were many options for them too which was perfect. The duck, beets, potatoes and cranberry sauce!! it looks pricy...on the menu but when you do the conversion to USD its a great deal for the price. The duck was cooked to perfection and the baby loved it too. The others in our party had the mushroom soup, fantastic looking salad with goat cheese and the trout that tasted as amazing as it looked!! Thank you so much for this great experience and if we are ever back in Warsaw, we will be stopping by!!More

Laura….. We will be very pleased to welcome you again. Thank you very much for taking the time to write such an extensive and detailed opinion. Best regards and we hope to see you.
Very tasty food and nice service (thank you, Piotr). But the toilet was too cold (maybe because historical construction). And thank you for the lounge music.

thank you very much for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed all the dishes. Best regards…
Tucked in the corner of one of Warsaw’s old town squares. Screams old world. Known for their roasted duck and apple main course, and rightly so. The skin is crispy and super flavorful. Gray starters… Tartar, cheese platter, salad varieties Lots of soup choices. Źurek,...rosól, beet, mushroom. And the service is outstanding. Piotr is attentive, professiona and friendly.More

Piotr, like the rest of the restaurant team, once again receives the highest rating ..... for which we thank you. This is a source of great satisfaction for us. We will try our best to make the next guests of the restaurant have the same...More
We had lunch here on a snowy day! Got a very warm welcome so we decided to have food here. We ordered the knuckle and roast duck, and of course some pierogis. The food was absolutely amazing, the crispy duck skin melted nicely on the...tip of your tongue, the sourness and freshness from the berry sauce added an umami touch. My partner had the knuckle and he said it was amazing too. The food was very generously sized and they offered two shots of coffee liqueur as liquid dessert to help with digestion. Nice food and great service, definitely recommended!More

We are glad that the dishes you ordered were tasty. Thank you for your kind words and greetings to Sweden. Please remember us.
Tom welcomed us in his restaurant and we had an amazing traditional polish dinner to celebrate birthday’s friend. Location is cosy, in the historical centre. Pierogi are delicious!

On behalf of the entire restaurant team, thank you for your nice review. Best regards.
