Nice place, there is plenty of drinks and hard liquor to choose from. The staff is competent and helpful which makes ordering much easier. Prices are rather hight but that's what one pays for a high quality service.

Relaxing and Comfortable

We visited the Coffee and Whisky House three times on our visit to Toruń. One visit was for coffee and the other two for lunch. It is relaxing and comfortable. The service is prompt and efficient. We didn’t try very much from the menu; bruschetta and salad, but what we had was very good. I’m not sure whether it was the time of our visits but the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Perhaps it gets busier in the evening. It’s well worth trying.

Still a friendly comfortable bar and eatery

This is a place we visit often, September 2022 being the most recent. The snacks here are always delicious and the staff always very welcoming. Their whisky offering is truly extensive but unfortunately , for me, their menu of beers has declined, OK I accept it is a whisky house and of course we will be visiting again next time we are in Torun.

Great place, really horrible service.

I almost never write bad reviews, but I love this place. It was my favorite place to go in Torun. But last night, the barista was so offensive, I can't imagine ever going back. After we got our drinks, I asked for water, it never came. We asked for dessert, the waiter said, "Kitchen closed." Later, after we saw food going out to others, my wife asked, "When does the kitchen close?" Clearly having forgotten that he told us the kitchen was closed, he said "11 p.m." We got there at 10. Look, if you're prejudiced against Americans, and you don't want to serve them, fine. Just put up a sign in the window. I love this place, but I'll stay away. I honestly hope that it was just one jerk kid. But it doesn't take much of that sort of thing to kill a place. I have always recommended this place to every person who comes to Torun. I did earlier today, in fact. I can't do that now. In fact, I wrote several colleagues already. And now I'm writing this, in hopes that somebody fixes the situation. If I wanted patronizing teen angst, I'd go to Starbucks.

Dear Guest, We are very sorry for the behavior of our barista. We put a lot effort into the training of our staff and it's very surprising to us that one of our employees behaved in such a manner. The worst customer service ever

I can not express how disappointing and bad service we have experienced there. Came as a group of five and been told that there was no availability for a table even though there were 3 tables free ( 4 seats each). Martyna (the waitress) was very rude and confident she can’t adjust any seats for us. We suggested we could seat at the bar but she also refused it. Unacceptable! The worst customer service ever. Would never recommend this place to anyone !

Every time we go we are pleased . Nice friendly atmosphere, great service ; they know what they serve and listen to customer’s needs . Seasonal menu and great selection of drinks. Fresh and quality ingredients. Staff speaks in English. Recommend to everyone

Drinks for the elite!

Great environment and a wonderful drink menu with afriendly staff. They even made a Dirty Martini, not a normal Polish drink. The Margaritas were great as was the Long Island Iced Tea - OK, both of them were good. (I know, I need to cut back on this trip.) Cheers!

Nice chilled place to hang out

Lovely comfortable chairs and v casual for snacks or drinks We were last here 2019 and pleased to see that the place hadn’t changed. Great selection of whiskeys and cocktails and a nice place to chill. Just had some hummus but was great

Great place. My wife and I went there for a nightcap and a drink. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They get an A+! We ordered a cheese, meat and vegetable tray. Overwhelmed! Do it.

This place serves delicious deserts and coffee but you can really indulge yourself with some posh alcohol as this place has plenty to choose from. The interior design is very nice and the service is excellent. They definitely know what they are talking about :)
