Entree through main I think you will find great food. We had prawns for the start, try with bread and then rabbit as both a main and pasta. Smashing. Beautiful city and a restaurant.

Had a business dinner there. Food was very good (had beef tatar & dorada fish). There was also good selection of wine. Service was ok but maybe a little bit to "pushy". Price quality was also ok.

This place is on the main street in the "Stare Miasto" of Torun, walking only, no cars, which adds to the city's -- and the restaurant's -- charm. Sitting outside in the warmer months is great for people watching, yet their outdoor display offers some...privacy thanks to planters and its seating arrangement, so pedestrians aren't walking up to your table. The restaurant is quite expensive for Torun standards, but for most travelers on the Euro, pound or dollar it's very reasonable compared to a comparable meal back home (16zloty for a beer, 20-40 for a glass of wine, 25-30 soups, 50 main dishes, steaks 110-120). However, the comparable meal would have to be outstanding!! The food is stunningly plated with refined details (like "lemon foam" on the halibut). Not only is it beautiful but the flavors are complementary, rich and delicate, and the fish/meat was perfectly cooked. Our meal for two with drinks and a shared appetizer was less than 200zloty. If that's within your budget, you have to try Szeroka #9. Ask the servers for a recommendation if you are unsure what to order--you won't be disappointed.More

I always rely on Trip Advisor for restaurant recommendations when traveling abroad and it never fails to deliver. The food was over the top AMAZING as ended up being my favorite while visiting in Poland. I'm vegan and the chef prepared a meal just for...me that was over the top. It looked like a work of art, and I didn't want to eat it, I just wanted to stare at it! LOL! My husband ordered fish and it was perfection. Server gave excellent wine pairings with our food. Service is precise without being obtrusive-and the patio was great for people watching. I highly recommend Szeroka No.9!More

We booked this for a celebratory Birthday meal, having read the reviews and were not disappointed. Everything about this place from booking our table to pudding was top notch. If I had to draw attention to one dish it would have to be the Halibut...which was soft, succulent and utterly divine. My mackerel was superb, as were our starters of herring tartare and prawns. I can’t fault the place at all. Having been a restaurateur in the past, I know what constitutes good service and No. 9 has it in Spades. Toruń is a fabulous place to visit and this place could just be the icing on the cake!More

Everything about this restaurant is top notch, the atmosphere, the ambiance, the service, and especially the food. Probably the best restaurant in Kujawsko-Pomorskie. Certainly our favourite since our first visit in 2013. We return often, our last visit being August 2019.

Found one of highest rated places in Torun on Trip Advisor. Locals from Torun told me they are well aware of outstanding food here but they also told me prices (for them) were a bit high. Despite the very high rating, I did not expect...much since place it sits in the middle of Old Town which is a heavy tourist center with a lot of mediocre eateries. There is a Pizza Hut directly across the closed to autos street. Well, I was impressed. Food and presentation were well beyond most U.S. fine dining standards. Service was outstanding. Soup starters (beet borsch and spinach soup) were light and delicious. Salads excellent. We both had fish that was expertly prepared and presented. We are Vodka drinkers and were not disappointed. We did not try dessert. The entire bill was the equivalent of $50 US for two adults not including the tip which is usually 10%..We each had a drink but no wine. In Torun, you cannot beat this. Our visit was apparently not a fluke as we had good friends from the U.S visit here the night before and they also raved about the place despite being hard to impress. Highly recommend and can walk to property from most hotels and AirBnBs in Torun.More

Ahhh Toruń...and Szeroka No. 9 was unique, elegant, delicious, relaxing, exceptional service and lovely atmosphere. What a pleasant decor and seating, making you feel at home. Modern and contemplation, very inviting and warm. The service and staff was present and know their stuff. I enjoyed...the entire experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, even when my debit card decided to malfunction and I had to go across the street to the bank to get cash, lol, no one made fuss. The food is phenomenal, incredible tasty, upscale spin on traditional Polish food! What a great treat! Highly recommend it...worth every zloty or penny. Definitely coming back!More

Chicken was not cooked well from the other side. According to our waiter this was how chicken should be and the red color was from a slow cooking method. Unfortunately it was not just a red color, but while biting the chicken you tasted that...the meat was raw.More

We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant and had such an amazing experience we went back the next day. The decor is very appealing, the service was so gracious, and the food beyond compare. Do not miss!
