We came across this restaurant by reading many reviews on trip advisor and yelp. This is a fine dining restaurant. If you are looking for inexpensive food and drink, you need to keep on looking. I am not saying that it is a very expensive...restaurant. I am just saying that this is a fine dining experience. We came to this place on Saturday around 2:00 pm. Lucky for us we had the place to ourselves as most people come to this fine establishment around 5:00pm. YOU NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION IN ADVANCE IF YOU PLAN ON EATING IN THE EVENING! This place fills up quickly, therefore a reservation is a must. We loved this place for another important reason - THIS PLACE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR PARENTS WITH LITTLE CHILDREN. A CHILD MUST BE AT LEAST 6 YEARS OLD OR OLDER TO ENTER THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I APPLAUD THE OWNER OF THIS RESTAURANT FOR MAKING SURE THAT SCREAMING AND RUNNING CHILDREN AS WELL AS THEIR PARENTS WHO ARE OBLIVIOUS TO THEIR INEXCUSABLE BEHAVIOR ARE ASKED TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT. I AM A STRONG BELIEVER THAT CERTAIN FINE DINING RESTAURANTS SHOULD ONLY BE AVAILABLE TO MATURE PEOPLE. BRAVO TO THE OWNER!!! Their food is wonderful. It has a great taste that will awaken many taste buds. The Menu has a nice variety of different foods. We started our experience with a traditional Polish Tatar - Raw finely grinded beef with a marinated mushroom - Polish Rydz - a very rare and delicious mushroom, as well as a lovage herb mayo and some crunchy shallots. Its was delicious! Additionally, we ordered Octopus with grilled tomatoes, oven roasted head of garlic and parsley oil. This was one of the most tender and delicious octopus I have ever eaten. It was so tasty and tender, I was amazed with the way it was prepared. In my previous experiences with octopus I noticed that many chefs usually serve it overcooked. This was not the case. Kudos to the chef I applaud your culinary skills. We also tried two soups. My friend had Sicilian soup with prawns, salmon and Zander made using shrimp shells for a broth. He loved it! For me it had a strong fish taste. However, degustibus non disputandum est! I loved my traditional chicken soup with homemade noodles. For the main course my friend ordered their signature dish - a half of a roasted duck served with braised red cabbage with a hint of smoked plum and currant with traditional homemade steamed dumplings. It was wonderful! I ordered a roast of very tender deer with bread dumplings and cranberries, glazed red beets and rosemary cream. IT WAS PHENOMENAL! We finished our dining experience with a tiramisu moose and some cognac. This was the best dining experience during our stay in Poznań! I loved this place because of its ambiance, cleanliness, warm welcome and hospitality. The food is absolutely delicious and very tasty. Last but not least, I wish to thank our server David. He was very welcoming, hospitable and provided wonderful advice when we were discussing our food choices. David has a great sense of humor! He gave us as much time as we needed to wine and dine. He also knew his wines and the variety of dishes this restaurant offers. I give this place 5 stars for: Food, Service and Ambiance. We were very impressed with this dining experience no we highly recommend this restaurant to all who appreciate fine food and high quality service. A job well done! Congratulations!More
