Because of the same big umbrellas, you can't see the name of the restaurant, and I spent a long time circling trying to figure out where the place was. The staff are very friendly, sat down quickly, brought menus. Dinner overlooking the old market and enjoying the atmosphere is very nice. But the dinner itself... Tourist Trap! How this restaurant has achieved a rating as the best in Poznan on Trip Advisor defies belief. To start with the best there is to say about the place; the food is very average and fills you up. The service though is abysmal. Waiting 1 hour for your food when the place is only quarter full. Half way through waiting for the food we’d finished our drinks. Any half attentive staff would have noticed the empty glasses and asked if more drinks were needed. Not even when serving the food did they ask. Leaving the place, which was now three quarter full, we noticed that the majority of people had no food; a restaurant full of waiting people. If you want traditional Polish food look somewhere else.

We chose this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews. First impression was charming and friendly. Then it went down hill. My soup was too salty. Our main courses arrived and that was the last time the waiter came back to our table to clear it or ask if we would like anything else. He helped another employee who was sorting cutlery and folding napkins and who knows what else because he just disappeared. We ended up going elsewhere for dessert and coffee. Like another reviewer, we felt erased and forgotten. It was very odd.

Location is amazing - Right outside the town hall on the square and can view the famous goats head butting.
Food was delicious, I went on 2 occasions and had the scrambled egg, was so delicious and unique!
Coffee was very nice and perfect for the morning.
Price - Cannot beat for value and quality!

Tasty freshly cooked food and super friendly staff. Lovely ambience and woudl be happy to visit again. The menu is short but everything we had was delicious and good value given location etc. The house wine was tasty and served in 0.5l carafe which is perfect when the other had also wants a beer!

The experience was a disaster. We waited for about 2 hours with no food or info. We asked the waitress for info and it was the typical “10 minutes more” but no food. It would have been much better to let us know the kitchen was slow or keep us informed instead of just pretending all was ok. It was definitely not ok. Some of the dishes that arrived aglftwr 2 hours were not even what we order. I would say it was a disaster and I will never come back

A restaurant with the best location I have ever seen in my life. The staff who can provide real customer satisfaction and the owner of the restaurant have a great friendly personality. Lovely restaurant. Quite small with seating for about 28 people when full. Right opposite the town hall clock.
Ania our waitress was top class. Really pleasant and very helpful in explaining the menu.
The food was really nice. We both had sour soup which was excellent.
Dumplings and pasta for our main courses. Again, both very good.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to try authentic Polish dishes. Both plenty of European dishes for those who don't.

The place is very well located, just in the most popular spot in the city, where all worth visitting places are. Kind and heplful service. The food was very tasty, however I expected more flavour from the goose broth. It can be a bit crowded as there are the place is small but in such a location.
