Delicja has nothing to envy the great French restaurants/cuisine. Food is amazing, advice for drinks to associate are always spot on as the manager is a sommelier (he surely will adapt to your own preferences). My only limitation is the lack of superlatives to describe...this restaurant. If you are looking for a special meal in Poznan, with amazing and very personal & attentive service, look no further than the hidden gem that is Delicja. Don’t let the (beautiful) more traditional setting fool you: the food is absolutely spectacular, with modern twists...on culinary classics, and excellent & thoughtful combinations of flavours, with high quality ingredients. The wine selection is also notable, and the owner has never let me down with his recommendations — always interesting wine that pairs well with our menu choices. Clearly, a lot of love and attention goes in to everything they do at Delicja. My wife and I have eaten there three times, and decided it is our new date spot. We now go there every time we visit Poznań. Highly highly recommend it for any occasion! (Unfortunately, I only managed to take one photo of my last meal, which is of a chocolate fondant and pear dessert — very tasty.)More

The Delicja [de-'lee-tsia] is one of the oldest continuously active restaurants in the old town of Poznan. Slightly hidden in the second row of Plac Wolnosci, you enter into a world of timeless enjoyment of food and drink. Compared to the probably closest competitor nearby,...the "Bazar 1858", the food quality is on an equally high level, but the ambiance and the cordiality of owner and service personnel is truly outstanding at the Delicja: while you might easily be ignored at the Bazar 1858 for half an hour or more (as I have personally experienced), no such thing will happen to you at the Delicja. Here, your wishes will literally be recognized from only slight gestures, and be fulfilled as if you were in the home of your best friend. A small, handpicked and ever changing menu serves international Haute Cuisine with a Polish twist - classic, but new and exciting with every bite. To round it off, the owner has a very cultivated musical taste, playing lush and sensual French, Brazilian and other music in a decent and unobtrusive way. While the price level is not cheap compared to other local offerings, it is definitely fair: for approx. 50 Euros including drinks, you will be served a menu that would be easily three times more expensive in Berlin. As my business travels to Poznan have been dialed down by Covid (I had over 30 visits of this city in 2019), I am increasingly appreciating the Delicja and try to go there every chance I get - my evenings out are now just too precious for experiments. Among the maybe 50 restaurants in Poznan that I have visited so far, the experience of an extended dinner at the Delicja is unmatched. Highly recommended!More

Had the must fantastic evening at Delicja in Poznan. Our host was nothing but spectacular and wery cabeble in his wine card. We were told his wife were the Chef - if so, she did a mavalous job all evening - wow! My very best...recommendation.More

Had a wonderful time at Delicja with some work colleagues. We had a prixe fixe meal with wine pairings for each course. It was absolutely wonderful.
