Good sushi

I was pretty impressed with the quality of this restaurant. Everything we ordered was tasty and our food came relatively fast even though the restaurant was crowded, and the staff was professional. The only downside is the price, as it’s rather expensive for the size...of the portions, but that’s somewhat to be expected in a nicer restaurant.More

Really nice surprise!

Normally a proper Japanese restaurant is hard to find, in here we tried the lunch box, what has a little bit of everything. Taste was really nice and the atmosphere was good

Good Asian/Japanese Restaurant in Poznan

There are quite a number of so-called Japanese restaurants in Poznan and I must admit that this time I have not been able to visit many of them meaning that I may have missed good ones. This said generally what I have heard from Japanese...in the town as well as my Polish friends who have the experience living in Japan all gave me rather disappointing comments on the Japanese restaurants in Poznan, to say the least. So I decided to try out some. "Kenko" was, in fact, a very good Japanese / Asian restaurant in Poznan. They have a solid menu supported by the quality of the dishes they serve. I tried "sashimi" dish as well as some "nigiri" of my choice. All were well prepared and presented in a way I could expect in Japan. Fish were fresh. Staff was friendly and professional. Located very close to the old town centre with easy access to the restaurant. This is the place one should try if he/she is looking for a quality Japanese/Asian dishes.More
