This smart monochrome restaurant sits within a refurbished city centre mansion, which also houses its sister restaurants and an office space; it's somewhat hidden away within the complex, but well worth seeking out. Formerly a grill-centric eatery, the Mibrasa charcoal oven remains in use for produce like Dover sole, but these days the menu is more expansive and could include their stand-out marinated herring, which delivers all the expected zing and vibrancy. There are some seriously good wines on offer too.

Visited three cities in Poland on business.
This was by far the best meal, best wine and overall best experience in a very nice setting.

Classy restaurant in the center of Poznan.
Came in here because of the November goose menu and it was great.
The atmosphere was nice and the service was ok, the food was good and the price was reasonable.

Really amazing modern place made with taste and style. Nice cuisine and well prepared drinks. And on top floor there is nice bar on the roof where you can sit and enjoy nice views provided the weather. So definitely GO.

Despite too many negative reviews for restaurant who is inspiring to be one the best at Poznan, I decided to make a reservation for dinner, due to,the fact that this restaurant has received Michelin recommendation. And this was a big mistake of me to book a table and this was also a big mistake of Michelin envoys to give such a recommendation.
Let’s start from positives : nice design and a beautifully restored old apartment house. We decided to take a table at the patio, but also restaurant’s interior is very stylish and elegant. The second positive element is a very interesting menu, with few Polish classics (vegetable salad with mayonnaise or goose tartare) and interesting international dishes (fish soup, halibut, risotto). I can’t complain about quality of service. And this is it, when it comes to positives.
The total disaster is a quality of food such interestingly described in the menu. My starter was a toast with fried chanterelles. The main problem was that it was waiting far too long to be served, as mushrooms were almost cold, but toast instead to be crispy, was soaked in a fat, which was used for frying.
I thought, that this shouldn’t happen, but at least I was hoping for a main course. This restaurant has a special oven called Mibrasa Grill.our waitress explained that this a special Spanish origin oven, where meat is processed partly with a help of wood and party charcoal, what at the end gives a specific smoky effect. So I ordered 21 days seasoned entrecote. Unfortunately this was really, really far from waitress description and my expectations. Simply it was very tasteless. There was not possible to check if meat has a smoky effect as everything was topped with a sauce called in the menu as “mustard sauce”. The plate was additional full of not crispy vegetables, probably also waiting too long to be served, so this ugly sauce was dominating not only on the meat but everything else what was placed at the plate.
My friend had tasteless (again) foie gras pate and Wiener schnitzel without salt and pepper used in the kitchen, so even when trying to add these ingredients from table mills, could fully saved his order. It was also funny to hear that our waitress has apologized that in The Time they serve wiener schnitzel without fried egg on top. As we know in Vienna nobody even heard about option to serve typical Wiener Schnitzel with fried egg …
Last but not least when we asked if Jaegermeister is served ice cold, we got a positive answer, but just few minutes later our digestive was served hardly cold, far from being ice cold.

it's a very smart restaurant but the food was a bit of a let down.
the 'amuse bouche' was hilarious.. a tiny sliver of ham on a very big plate.. i had a pretty good steak but the 'steak fries' were not 'home made' (but they so rarely are) and the 'pepper sauce' was too salty.. and veggies were all extras
i also was suprised that a very expensive glass of wine barely covered the bottom of the wine glass
all in all a good place for impressing clients.. but not so much for the food

The chef definitely loves fat. Fat is the carrier of flavor, but it is not good when there is more carrier than flavor.
Starting with the starters:
Sturgeon Russian pancake - delicious sturgeon, creme fraiche and leek were ok, while the pancake is fried, strung, no delicacy and not drained of fat. Result: oily pancake, oily cream, oily brushwood, oily fish.
Goat cheese puff could be a dessert - a fat cake served with sweet beetroot, sweet apricot mousse and goat cheese has no counterpoint to sweetness.
Main dish:
Tasty halibut, although also fried, with delicious truffle puree and, unfortunately, fried asparagus. If fish or asparagus were steamed, it would be tastier, but it's still the best dish.
The prawns are literally swimming in the olive oil. In addition, instead of fresh baguettes, it is toasted and poured with olive oil, of course. The result: an olive oil that covers all the flavors.
Wines from PLN 139 per bottle.
Result: 2 starters, 2 main courses, a bottle of wine (149 PLN), a bottle of water, tip 10% = 440 PLN. Was it worth it? No, for the reasons mentioned above. Great products which quality, instead of being main advantage, was killed.

Suddenly an extra payment because we were 6 people instead of 5. Food was not good enough price/quality. Not worth the cost.

We were quite happy with this visit even though it was very crowded and we ha to sit on barchairs in the corridor. They have a vide selection off italian wine and many others. We had the duck, beef and negotiatet for a starte which was divided between us.

I went with there with 2 business partners, it’s was a quiet evening at the Time.
The waiter came fast and we also got our food very quickly.
I got tuna carpaccio, it’s was really good
The man course was pasta with scrimps and beef. It’s the best dish I have got at the Time. It was just fantastic

To find this place we had to walk by the hotel reception manned by two unsmiling bouncer types. It's as if they were trying to hide this amazing restaurant from visitors (no wonder it has so few Tripadvisor reviews). So we were particularly excited to find inside a large beautiful atrium, where an elegant table setting and cheerful, helpful service awaited us. In my opinion, the food and atmosphere here are even better than at the much taunted Bazar 1838 (which I also recommend). In fact it matches any fine restaurant I've been to anywhere in the world. The only question I have is: how do they get a chef capable of such feats to work for an obscure courtyard restaurant in Poznan?

We have been many times at The Time and the food is always very good and also a very good service.
For me it’s there starters is the top. Dessert is a little boring there
It’s a top 5 restaurant in Poznan
Only real minus, the menu card is not changing that fast, but it’s only a problem if you like to there often
