5 means 5 for what it is, which is essentially a no frills sznycal (Schnitzel) limited menu joint that is cheap and, when not super busy, cheerful. Skoła is the ugly step-sister of Wrocławska (a street of “hip” bars and restaurants that runs south from...the Stary Rynek). One street over on Skolna, you pay less than half as much and get better food and more of it. However the people watching is not so good. A single serving here is enough for two responsible adults who aren’t planning to see their cardiologists any time soon. Good but beware: too many visits and you’ll have to buy bigger jeans. There is a vogue in Poznan for healthy foods — this place is fighting it with all their might. That said: DELICIOUS.More
It's a traditional Polish style eatery. Queue to order your food in basic surroundings. Choose from a limited, daily changing, menu which has all the Polish classics. Find yourself a seat and wait for some delicious freshly cooked family food. Save it for when you...are really hungry or you'll struggle to finish the portions.More
If you want to try best polish food, try schabowy!!! The best food I ate in last years! Highly recommend.
A great place to eat delicious Polish food. Huge portions at very low prices. You'll struggle to finish the dish ;) I ate the breaded pork cutlet with potatoes and souerkraut, one of the best dishes I've eaten during my trip to Poland. I highly...recommend this place!More
I ate my way through Poznan. If you want to save yourself sometime. This by far best foods/meals! This is only second time I have written review here...so it is truly worth my time to recommend.
The restaurant specializes in pork. We don't really like pork meat, but we were tempted by good reviews of this place and we went here. we liked it very much, the large pork chop with toppings was very good and crunchy. We recommend visiting.
Great place to eat real polish food and with s great price!! I'm sure that I'll come back! They've got a menu in English plus you can pay with card!! GREAT
This joint sits on a corner next to the center of Poznan's old town and serves up highly affordable and tasty local version of Wiener schnitzel. The portions are rather giant, but rather delicious. Be advised, this place is popular with locals and gets busy...and there is basically one large communal table where you may sit. Be prepared to stand for a few minutes for a seat or two to open up. The service is quick, but once you order and receive your food, you probably won't talk to them again.More
I’m a big fan of schnitzel so i found this place from trip advisor.in a central street very close to the main square.a small restaurant with a big table that 12 people can eat,or you can eat in front of the window!it was a big...portion and delicious with nice dumplings on the side. Very cheap ,it worth a visit! You can also take it away !More
Casual restaurant. Always crowded with tourists and local people. Pork schnitzel is famous and delicious. There are quite many people who take them out.
very good restaurant clean and tasty a lot of people come there on the evening no air condition they try ti make it cool
I don't know how anyone could give this less than an excellent rating. My husband and I each had the pork schnitzel, albeit with different sides. We both loved every bite of the food on our plates -- although there was so much of it...that we could only eat half of what was offered. The sides filled the entire plate and the schnitzel was placed on top and nearly covered the entire plate! The cost of both plates and a liter of Pepsi amounted to 50 zlt, or just under $14. We took home our leftovers and had them for dinner. It was still delicious.More
Huge and delicious meat, unique atmosphere. Very cheap place to try typical polish food. But not for vegetarian.
The place is crowded, full of locals. The pork chop is big and tasty. A great place to experience the local food. The only problem is the language. The staff speaks little English.
