We attended as a group of colleagues for dinner. The service and hospitality was excellent (as it has been everywhere in Poznan!) and we really appreciated learning about the dishes from our server. We ate goose (local delicacy at this time of year) and tried...a local sparkling wine. All excellent and good value.More

We stopped here for dinner on the Saturday night of our trip and could not have been more delighted with the whole experience! The waitress who was assigned to our table was brilliant and really understanding of our minimal grasp of Polish (she happily muddled...through with us). Every course was as brilliant as the next and the food was easily as good as we have eaten in Michelin-starred restaurants we have eaten in elsewhere. The confit-duck stuffed pierogi we had to start were a particular high point! Definitely a must try restaurant!More

We shared one starter and two mains with non-alcoholic drinks and coffee for around 45 Euros. Well worth it. Imaginative presentations and great tastes. Highly recommend.

Great location on the square in the Old City. Our server, Marcian was amazing- very thoughtful and attentive & he expertly paired our wine to perfectly compliment our meal. I ordered, and recommend highly, the pork cheeks flavoured with chocolate and plum sauce- so tender...& delicious!! Perfectly prepared great presentation. If you are looking for a special evening of feeling spoiled & appreciate delicious, uniquely prepared food, look no further!More

We did the Dinner in the Dark experience at Bulwar which is in the cellar of the restaurant. It is the perfect spot to do a dinner in the dark experience, however it was really unfortunate that we as English speaking tourists missed out on...half of the fun because the host only spoke Polish. So between courses I'm assuming the guests and him discussed what they thought we had but we couldnt participate in any of that cause no English. Before we were seated he also briefly explained how the evening will work (I think that was what he did) When we said if he could just briefly explain to us as well his answer was No English. We were literally and figuratively in the dark. Unfortunately the guessing and discussing of the meals makes out a big deal of the experience so if you dont understand Polish, I will not recommend this.More

More than one hour and half for 2 tartars, 1 salad, and 1 pierogi. Ethernal waiting. Service awful, absent. Food tasy, but small portions. Due to this : all becomes to be considered expensive.

On a guided tour stopping to see the head-butting goats in the town square, we stopped here for lunch and simply had a wonderful time. Ania, our server, was delightful, and very fluent in English. We tried a special of venison-stuffed pierogi (which was delicious),a...regional white wine, and a local pilsener - all enjoyable. For dessert we had some of their house-made ice cream. We were so glad we stopped here!More

We wanted polish cuisine and decided to try Bulwar and we were delighted we did! This place is the best on the swuare, polish food with a twist and good value. The home baked bread with local cheese was delicious. Then two words - pork...cheeks! I never thought of park with rhubarb but it does work. This place I cannot recommend enough. The staff were friendly & had great English. Well worth a visit if you are Poznan and enjoy good food!!More

We went under the restaurant week. It’s a special offer, where you get 3 dishes and 2 drinks for 50 pln. The food came fast and the waiter did a very good job. The did a super service even do that you pay very little...for the food We will for sure come there again Normally I will not give 5, because it has to be reserved for super experienced, but you can saythis was very good and you got more than you paid forMore

We stopped just for a drink, but ended up eating. The service was perfect in the beginning, but when our waitor left, the service went a bit downhill. Lovely, cold prosecco in stylish glasses. Wonderful ice cream. Nice location in old city square. Stylish and...clean interior - higher standard than sorrounding restaurants. The beef tartar was brilliant and the pasta was good.More

If you want to have a drink, they have a friendly bar at the ground floor, and the bartenders here are better than most places around the Old Market. The food, however, isn't much to be said about. The trout I tried to eat was...absolutely white - which isn't the restaurants fault, of course - but the making of it wasn't exactly anything I would want to taste again. I don't even remember the other dish we bought - it was better forgotten as soon as possible. The waiters were friendly, but that doesn't help the food, I'm afraid.More
