The wild boar pate we received was covered with a white fibrous coating. The waitress said that the pate has been "covered with paper" which was supposed to explain mold-looking stains. What is more, she suggested that we should eat pate we ordered anyway. We...did not dare to continue our visit to the restaurant and I do not recommend it to anyone.More

Very nice place with tasty polish (Poznań's region) cousine. Located in the old part of Sródka so good to visit while sightseeing the cathedral or ICHOT.

sat outside, great menu. Pirogie, Duck were the best. Good wine choice. Blisteringly good value to British guests

Very nice place, very good service and delicious food. Pyra z gzikiem (potato with cottage cheese) - the best I tried in Poznań. Very good, rich duck broth. Roasted pork neck was delicate and tasty, and "bambrzok" - very crispy, all in delicious sauce. Beef...cheeks - very delicate and delicious. And delicious cheesecake in the end. We were very glad of our choice of restuarant.More

Cute restaurant- top staff and even better food. Went to try the infamous lemonade with hycka- so lovely! I recommend it to everyone. The cheesecake was beautiful. They do amazing duck… but I was too stuffed to try it. It’s a must next time!

Being a total novice in Poland, Hycka was the first place to go for dinner - lucky me. I did so much enjoy the main dish (pirogi stuffed with boar meat) that I could not resist having a dessert. What adds to my 100%-recommendation for...this place, is its location on the edge of a little square.More

Really nice and cosy place, the service is absolutely perfect, the waitress has made me feel like at home, she has ordered at the kitchen the dumplings without meat for me, even they weren't on the menu!! She recommended me which course and which drink...I can have, and it has been a success!! Really like everything!! I will recommend this restaurant for sure and if I come again to Poznan,I will come to try other dishes!More

We had a nice family meal. Most of us got a duck - this is their signature dish. The duck was ok but not the best I've ever had. Considering prices I was expecting a bit more. All in all a good place for lunch...or dinner but there are many better and cheaper spots in Poznan.More

Found the restaurant by accident. Both of us had the veal which was excellent. Service was great, prices are moderate. A bit off the beaten path, but an excellent find.

We read about this restaurant on the tourist brochure so decided to try the local potato dumplings and meat. Wow It was delicious and then we tried the cheesecake which is made locally the traditional way. It was amazing. It's much like a baked cheesecake...but not ad heavy and has a meringue topping.More

This restaurant is narrow but authentic Polish food served here. I found Czernina, Polish Duck Blood Soup for the first time anywhere. Usually I'm looking for Flaki soup on the menu but to find was a joy. We also had beef rollups and they were...made perfectly.More

We escaped the cold for a soup, interesting beer (miloslaw) and their homemade elderberry syrup with fizzy water. Friendly, English speaking staff. Bit off the beaten track, 20 min walk from main square, but worth it.
