Cute restaurant- top staff and even better food. Went to try the infamous lemonade with hycka- so lovely! I recommend it to everyone. The cheesecake was beautiful. They do amazing duck… but I was too stuffed to try it. It’s a must next time!

Being a total novice in Poland, Hycka was the first place to go for dinner - lucky me. I did so much enjoy the main dish (pirogi stuffed with boar meat) that I could not resist having a dessert. What adds to my 100%-recommendation for...this place, is its location on the edge of a little square.More

Really nice and cosy place, the service is absolutely perfect, the waitress has made me feel like at home, she has ordered at the kitchen the dumplings without meat for me, even they weren't on the menu!! She recommended me which course and which drink...I can have, and it has been a success!! Really like everything!! I will recommend this restaurant for sure and if I come again to Poznan,I will come to try other dishes!More

We had a nice family meal. Most of us got a duck - this is their signature dish. The duck was ok but not the best I've ever had. Considering prices I was expecting a bit more. All in all a good place for lunch...or dinner but there are many better and cheaper spots in Poznan.More

Found the restaurant by accident. Both of us had the veal which was excellent. Service was great, prices are moderate. A bit off the beaten path, but an excellent find.

We read about this restaurant on the tourist brochure so decided to try the local potato dumplings and meat. Wow It was delicious and then we tried the cheesecake which is made locally the traditional way. It was amazing. It's much like a baked cheesecake...but not ad heavy and has a meringue topping.More

This restaurant is narrow but authentic Polish food served here. I found Czernina, Polish Duck Blood Soup for the first time anywhere. Usually I'm looking for Flaki soup on the menu but to find was a joy. We also had beef rollups and they were...made perfectly.More

We escaped the cold for a soup, interesting beer (miloslaw) and their homemade elderberry syrup with fizzy water. Friendly, English speaking staff. Bit off the beaten track, 20 min walk from main square, but worth it.

If you would like to try some traditional Polish tastes, this is such a nice restaurant to start with. It has a quite mellow environment. There are not many options on the menu but there is something everybody would eat. The portions are average size....Their menu on the website is not up to date so be careful. I also recommend a glass of nice hycka juice to drink with the meals.More

Restaurant with simple decoration, brick walls and decent food for a very good price. Roast pork with potato dumplings is very good and the price of 18 PLN is great. Do not expect any sophisticated meals but rather traditional Polish cuisine. This place wins in...category ‘quality / price’. I cannot give 5 points because of czernina. It was just dreadful. First I was quite disappointed when I noticed there are no potato noodles in the soup. It had pudding texture what means that too much flour had been added. It should be soup not dessert. Too much vinegar made it very unpleasant in taste. Less flour, vinegar, add potato noodles and dry plum but not tasteless California plum from supermarket but Polish from local market and should be ok.More

I was happy to visit this nice restaurant, during coldy October and taste a truly good, warm, traditional food (I am Polish so I know what I say! :-) ). Nice and fast service, prices ok, well positionned nearby the cathedral and museums. Children are...welcomed and some games are available for our little angels. I recommend!More

This place our company of 5person liked a lot. You can eat a lot, paying not such a big money. Cuisine is particular - slavic, means everything fat, so prepare yourself to feel kinda full already after the main course. No doubts, we will be...back :)More

I am not writing about Tivoli (which is pretty dire in any case), but am instead trying to recommend another restaurant for inclusion on Trip Advisor. Your website says I should start writing another review, so that's what I am doing. The restaurant I am...recommending is called Hyćka, it is located in Poznan, Poland, at Rynek Śródecki 17. It is a simple place, attractive and old-fashioned in appearance. The food is outstanding at the price, and the service is friendly, well-informed and eager to please. Everyone seems to speak some English. The food is regional, of the Poznan area. The signature dish is roast duck served with steamed dumplings and red cabbage. Equally good is roast pork, served with another type of dumpling. There are even vegetarian options. The atmosphere is great, the staff are great, and the food is great. I have eaten here five times in four weeks and have always come away happy.More
