correct service, great beer and really GOOD food! ;-) Ideal place for a lazy sunday afternoon in their garden with a good steak and cool beer. My kids loved it too and there is a lot of toys for the youngest. Well done!

A surprisingly tasty menu. We mainly ordered from the temporary chantrelle filled dishes, but the pizza and burger were also great. And really well cooked fries. The AIPA with a slice of orange in it rivaled blue moon anyday!

After rebranding the restaurant offers still the same choice of beer from their own brewery. The food however is very unequal. The Thai, spice soup was really good, but later the vegan pizza appeared awful. The service rather average, taking more time, than you can expect.

First time I put 1 point to a restaurant, very bad experience, lateness, no flavour and burned pizza. No excuses.

It is for sure a good place for a beer. That have their own production and it tastes great. Pizza is ok maybe not so thin as the real Italian one but it has good cheese on the top and comes from a real wood oven. Didn’t try other dishes recently but as far as I know they make good job while organizing bigger events and party’s on the upper floor of this nice building. Nice and quiet garden with few tables outside is good for groups with kids.

When we walked from our apartment to the city center, we saw a brewery just a few meters down the road (Browar Księży Młyn). So on our way back, we entered for a nightcap. The beer was delicious and the staff very friendly, so we returned the next day. And this was when we had a look at the menu of the associated restaurant. Unfortunately, we already had something to eat shortly before, hence were not very hungry, but the menu sounded and looked just too inviting (they have nice pictures of some of their food on the menu). So we had dinner nevertheless and to cut a long story short: both our dishes exceeded our expectations. Highly recommendable.

The place used to be an interesting venue in a poor gastronomic landscape of this city. Now the cuisine is not impressive. The really bad thing is that you feel threatened there. There are the groups of very noisy and drunk men. It is really very unpleasant. I suggest to avoid this place.

The restaurant is located on Księży Młyn and like many all buildings in that area is designed in a post-industrial style. The interior of the restaurant is very spacious and one shouldn't feel the lack of privacy. The atmosphere during our visit was fine. We came at noon so there place was almost empty. The service was amiable and helpful. If it comes to dishes, we decided not to use a lunch offer but to order something from the menu. Though the menu was not ample, one can easily find something for oneself, even if all the dishes from the menu seemed to be peculiar in some way and not commonly met in restaurants. We went for a soup and the main course. What I should emphasize is that the cuisine offered for the main course was experimental and (I am not a connoisseur so I may be in a mistake) it was perhaps a molecular kind of cuisine. The dishes were small - much meat but only few additions (for example a tiny or even dainty beetroot, but prepared in a magic way). Everything was very tasty, though I had a feeling that I could get more additions for the main course and finally I left not fully full (the price of the main course might have indicated that I should get more, but definitely the quantity was replaced by the quality and an experimental approach to processing food).

We went there with 2 colleagues, had a diner outside on the terrace. Food was good, especially a molecular tiramisu as dessert, which was really as announced.

the restaurant was no bad, but also not that good. The location is cool but also to cold. The dishes were ok, it was crazy to receive a complete starter set after the dessert... We were there with polonaise guys, for them war not that usual as well...

It started off badly when we arrived to see the walls covered in three huge tv screens (please BAN these in restaurants) and a very showy book type menu with some tragic English mistakes, full of impossibly complicated and showy meals and then being sat down in an uncomfortable chair right next to an eye-level huge tv screen meaning my wife was literally flashing different colours in front of me, giving me a headache to start. Not feeling 100%, I asked for some water, which came eventually as a jug for the table: I waited for everyone else to be slowly served beer and water, with some of the water spilled onto the table. Being the last but one from being served water, the waiter gave me half an inch of water in my glass then filled up the last glass to the top, emptying the carafe but not returning back with more. So my initial impression was of chavvy ostentation, with huge TVs, a mis-spelled menu for rap-stars trying to impress and a waiter that cannot get a glass of water to someone who asked for it. All on top of a migraine-inducing flashing tv right next to me, with no sound and music on elsewhere. Literally hell. Not wanting to offend our friends/hosts who usually get our dining locations spot-on, I shut up and ordered a bottle of house Merlot and the meal. After half a bottle of merlot and simply looking away from my wife whose face flashed from yellow to purple to black etc constantly because of the huge tv inches away from us, I settled into my starter of goats' cheese pannacotta with beetroot jelly and peanut bread, which was, in fairness, a great idea well executed and presented perfectly. I tried my friends' starters too; the ravioli in consomme also superb, the spinach soup with crayfish necks and quails eggs a fresh and balanced taste too. In a calmer mood, the main courses arrived and my duck was outstandingly good, cooked to perfection and with excellent gnocchi; my friends' beef shank with chickpeas was superb too, a huge portion and really well flavoured throughout. So my initial thoughts of rap-star impressing ostentation/bling with zero culinary substance were misguided as all the food really was good, the house merlot too. But who wants huge tv screens in your face and a poorly executed English menu translation (who spends a small fortune on book bound menus without getting them proof-read**, and if this is the attention to detail, what else is going to be wrong?)...? Well, with the car park jammed with high-end Mercs, Porsches and a Maybach, it is the local glitterati and business people..! What do I know? Having enjoyed the food and endured the rest, I swiftly suggested we ditched desserts there and got the bill, heading for the same at the Wedel Cafe. Even after asking, I never did get any more water. The devil is in the details and all details need to be right at these prices-not just the food! ** "Lady and the Trump" anyone?

The restaurant is situated in the old building. The best time to visit is on sunny day - take a sit outside. The cuisine is outstanding. Perhaps the best in Lodz. The service is reasonable. However, the pub is an awful place - dark and terribly noisy.
