We visited the restaursnt in the group of four because of curiosity for Magda Gessler's revolution. Waitress was very kind and advised on some local dishes the best to be chosen from menu. We tried Challaburger and Zulik - both of them have been amazing....Perfect quality of ingredients, great match of spices and professional preparation. We were really surprised (positively) and kindly invite all other people to try it.More

Lovely food in a rustic setting. It’s a true hidden gem. Was skeptical from the outside look of the place, but inside you will find very good service and super nice food! Tried cream of eggplant soup, cholet, and shakshuka. All very nice. If in...town, make a stop for a lovely and hearty meal.More

We had booked this before travelling as we were a party of 15 people! We went on a Thursday evening with children and it was amazing! by far the best meal we had in Lodz and we had a few good meals. The food is...just gorgeous and I cannot recommend this place enough! and amzing value for money. If you in Lodz you have to go, well worth a visit.More

The interior looks too simple, like a cantine with almost no decor. But we stayed, thinking tgat the great meal reviews were speaking for themselves. And partially it turned out true - the smoked fish soup with rice was great. The salad was also good....But the baked salmon main course was another story - really goid fish, sauce and the greens, but the mashed potato was a disaster - it had a distinct sour taste. The service was awful. The waiter spoke almost no English, simply rejected our bad potato report. A group of locals showed in, but the staff payed no attention to them, and because I happened to be walking in the room, they took me for the waiter and started speaking Polish to me. After I replied in English, they were confused, and the staff did nothing to fix it, so they just left. My advice - don't out at risk your dinner. And yes, the place was cheap - about 20 EUR for small dinner for two. But it is not the only part of a pleasant experience, isn't it?More

Absolitely delicious food and amazing service. They handled our group of 19 expertly! Delicious beef polish dumplings, cheese potato pierogies, chicken noodle soup with fresh noodles, beef tar tar, and one of the best pumpkin soups I've ever tasted. Everything was delicious! The husband and...wife owners made us feel at home.More

Try amazing pierogies and / or breaded pork chops on a board with mashed patatoes and warm cabbage. Great size of the dishes. The restaurant is little hidden at the end of the courtyard on Piotrkowska street with a facade under construction but some signs...from the street are visible.More

Very kind and helpfull service. Excellent traditional Polish food, to be highly recommanded, and at a modest price. The restaurant is 30 meters of the main road, so it is a quiet and cosy place to enjouy an excellent dinner.
